  • Be careful if using torch on plug. Coolant is flammable.
    Also will need to do a EGR delete in order to Install HCM
    Car installed on 03 Terminator.

    Why would you not drain the coolant first??? Not good on the clutch either. 🙄

    Better off getting the kit that goes into the rear of the drivers side head....so much easier....and if something leaks...you can fix it without taking the whole car apart....😀

    I don’t know if anyone else has this issue but I installed this on my 03 cobra and now the coolant doesn’t have enough pressure to flow through the radiator, it just cycles through the engine itself and raises the coolant temp dangerously high. I closed the hose from the cooling mod and it brought temps back down to normal. Any idea why?

      Did you connect to the correct heater hose? Wrong one can set up a loop like that.

    I’ve got an overheating ‘96 Cobra 4.6 L. DOHC engine. I installed a Autometer gauge to double check the factory installed temp gauge. I replaced my coolant temp sensor, no benefit. I changed out the installed 192 degree thermostat and installed a180 degree thermostat, no improvement. I pressurized the cooling system, my Stant pressure tester didn’t a drop in pressure, to check for a head gasket leak with the spark plugs removed, just to be sure, and cranked the engine over, had no H2O vapor/water present. The radiator, checked by a local shop, has adequate flow. What did the Ford dealership do to remedy the problem what this was under warranty? Should I install the same MMR kit you installed in your engine? Thanks a lot.

    Even Flo Gen 2 mod from LFP doesn't require the transmission to be removed, just the blower. $100 part. This the part I need?

    • @texaseliteperformance4471
      @texaseliteperformance4471 3 роки тому

      Yes that will get the job done, if you're going to be dropping the transmission this would be a better option. But having either cooling mod is still better than not having any.
