It's 2023. Marilyn is about to turn 95. She's still singing and sounds just as good. I've seen here perform a few times because I live in Kansas City, where she has livec for about 70 years. She has always been a fixture and an icon here. 😊
For a sixty-year old singer, this would be great. For a 90-year old, it's literally unbelievable. Amazing breath and voice control and superb perfoming skill.
I'm completely flabbergasted by Ms. Marilyn Maye's performance at 90 years old.
She's so youthful, so full of energy and her voice is still extraordinary after so many decades.

Met her in 1989 ....she pulled up in her gold Lincoln town car. With same lashes lol...what a Strong Vibrant lady .....glad she is still around ..not a surprise.... they make them strong in Kansas

Wow! What a joy to hear and see today (April 18, 2021) Marilyn Maye's wonderful rendition of the totally new-to-me piece, "Here's to Life." At 82, I am so grateful to You Tube for making much of her music available, especially this uniquely personal triumph. What a HUGE repertoire of hits she has over decades, that she always makes her own! How especially proud Kansas must be of its special daughter. Many thanks to Harry Connick Jr. for making her appearance possible for the huge, grandly enthusiastic young crowd!

It is actually a brilliant performance and the fact she is a contemporary of Ella Fitzgerald; but more than this to state she is good for 90 seems a bit of a backhanded compliment because she is a far greater communicator in song and that is only enhanced by her experience and chops

The audience is so uneducated on jazz they didn’t know when it was over. Amazing job at any age MM but at 90 them some sweet tones.

Hmmm. Never heard of her before. Where was she when say Margaret Whiting and Helen O'Connell, etc., were making comebacks in the early 80's?
She is a legend. I heard of her. Nice you finally expanded your musical taste to include the greatest American Cabaret singer that ever lived. She is a working musician.
