What should I do if my phone connects to the WiFi but my PlayStation doesn't? It's been 5 and a half months of feeling like a caveman 💀
I read lots of people are having the same problem. Have you tried plugging your PS4 directly to the router to test?

Try creating a new Playstation account to test. If it still doesn't work then it's time to upgrade your router.

It’s an issue with your service provider. You can call them for the port numbers to give ur network provider. Or you can look around the house for an extra pan cable lying around, I bet you’ll find one. The longer the better. Connect it to the back of the router and to ur ps4. Make sure the light where you plug the cable in is blinking on the router. Your good to go
Ziply Fiber came out and replaced my router with a newer one and all is fine with both my internet upload and PSN.
So when I use lan cable after that it will work on wifi like it used to be ? Please respond I'm having the same issue

@@yacinekouitini5182 When Ziply Fiber came out and replaced the router to the newest model, everything worked fine from then on out.
@@yacinekouitini5182 You have to check to see if the LAN cable is good or bad too. Most likely it's a router issue. Update the driver or software to the latest.
This worked thanks , I changed the dns settings and my Ethernet connection now works on my ps3

It doesn’t work, I already reset my router and its a Latest Spectrum router and it doesn’t work still
Did you download the latest update for the router? Try hardwiring the router to the PS.
My normal WiFi is working but when I use my WiFi cable I get the error, the cable is fine and the PlayStation doesn’t say it isn’t plugged in.
The lan cable from the router should provide you with the proper connection because it's direct. Did you try updating your software?

Have you tried connecting a router directly to it? It may be time to buy a new router if yours is old.

It happens when you blaklist your PlayStation on Internet device
Or block some devices to connect to Internet
So accidentally PlayStation also added in block list
You have to unblock it
I never added it to the blocked list. I don't even know how to.

Make sure there are no spaces before and after when you enter. Try resetting the router.

I don't understand your question. If the IP address is successful then the internet must be working. Try restarting the router.
@@Jay_Rulesame with me it stops at op address successful and then says internet connection has failed and I tried restarting my router so many times. This started happening when I just started playing the game again after not playing for a couple days

When I go to setup conection click on easy it takes 10 minutes to load and doesnt get me to the part we i choose my wifi idk whats going on

Are you able to download the latest PlayStation system update? Try hardwiring to the console.

Mine works fine now after Ziply Fiber came out and gave me their latest router and I haven't had any issues since.

What to do when everything else connects to Wi-Fi but the ps4 Isn’t connecting
Seems if your PS4 is missing the latest update. Do you get that notice? If so, try taking the PS4 connecting directly to the router with ethernet cable.
The ps4 is up to date. I will try to connect the wire from the router directly and see if it works
