Hi, I am from Colombia and I got de Jetbot with 2GB. I just have a problem with the Etcher, when it is validating it generates a lot of partitions of the sd card. So, when it finish the process and show that everything is okay, and I put the sd card into the Jetbot ..basically doesnt works. Do you have any clue about that? I ask you because in your video that problem doesnt appear. I hope you can help me, thanks.
A Jetson SD card is supposed to have a lot of partitions. The Jetson should boot at the end of the process flash SD card. Make sure you selected the correct SD card image. If you are having issues, please ask questions on the official NVIDIA Jetson Nano forum where NVIDIA engineers can help you through the process. Thanks for watching!
Hi, Jim. Great Video. It helps me a lot. I have a question. ¿Can i use the Jetbot without those batteries for these first steps? Because i dont have the batteries, ¿i can not configure the Jetbot plugged in without the batteries? Thank you for the video guide.
@@Hippoking69 You should follow the Waveshare wiki instructions. This is their step 5: www.waveshare.com/wiki/JetBot_AI_Kit#Step_5._Install_the_latest_software You can read through their full setup procedure, which they have updated since when the video was published.
Hi jim , when i run the basic motion file on the jupyter notebook console give me the NO module named jetbot but i create the jetbot module , another problem is the docker during the installation give me the another error it gave an unable find image manifest unknown see docker run --help
It's hard to tell what the issue is from your description. It sounds like there is a problem with your installation. Please refer to the Waveshare website for help.

Thank you for the video guide.
You should be able to plug the Jetson in and configure the software. The rest of the robot will need batteries of course. Good luck on your project!

Hi Jim,
I have a question. When I try to do step 5, it shows an entirely different screen with different codes. What can I do to resolve this issue?
It's hard to tell from your description what step 5 is and what "different codes" mean.
Yeah, it's kind of hard to describe the different types of code that I'm seeing. Maybe you could send me the website for how you did step 5.
@@Hippoking69 I don't know what step 5 is. Could you please refer to it as a timestamp or something more descriptive?
What I meant by Step 5 is the part where you update the Waveshare JetBot software.

hi, great tutorial. I'm currently facing an issue where my jetson display doesn't turn on.
What happened?
@@JetsonHacks Same for me. The green light swtitches on, the fan rotates but the display does not light up or display anything.

whenever I turn on the bot with everything hooked up, it opens what looks like a safe mode of sorts, how do I get out of this?
From your description, I can't tell what you are describing.
When I turn on the jetson nano, it doesn't appear the same as in the video, for me it's just a console.
It sounds like there is an issue about setting up the Jetson. A standard setup will boot into the desktop. Good luck on your project!
Same here. Have you got it resolved?

Is your host computer on the same network as your JetBot? What is the address you tried to connect to?
Yes sir now it’s working:) thanks
@@urvashiparmar You are welcome, I'm glad you got it to work.
Does this work for the 2GB version?
I believe it requires more work. The disk image is for the 4GB version. Thanks for watching!
