At least Khabib retired with dignity, rather than McGregor "being active" and not fighting. True UFC fans watched Khabib before the McGregor fight, casuals like you watch only big PPV fights. I'm a huge fan of Khabib and definitely never hated on anything he's done, but I really felt it was unprofessional for them to interview Khabib before Usman.

It was planned way before and would already happen if Belal wouldn't beat Edwards. A lot of Russian MMA fans were speculating this long time ago. Usman vs. Shabliy on paper was very good, but I suppose Shabliy didn't expect Usman not working in his usual style and wouldn't let Shabliy work in his usual style, Shabliy is counter puncher while Usman used to work all the time first. Usman is also first of all striker, then grappler/wrestler. It was literally a chess game. Real MMA fans will appreciate and enjoy.
