I am in the search of an oxygen setup for the mountain flying I am about to enjoy. Any recommendations would be appreciated. And hey, I talked to you on departure off LMO, took ya right over DEN and east between the cells with a shout-out on frequency. Hope that routing worked out alright. Those cells were closing in fast. Hope you had a good flight east and happy 4th. Edit- ah darn I just came across your video about what I was asking for. Sorry for not noticing that video about oxygen BEFORE I asked! Thanks for all you do. All of it is great material for mountain flying learning.
Aaron, Thanks for the on frequency shout out - you really made my day. Yes, the routing worked out great. It appears I made it out of DEN just in time. That hole was closing up fast. That departure essentially foreshadowed my East Coast adventure. I logged a LOT of IMC time over the last week and had to pick my way through many thunderstorms. That's summer flying for you... re: the O2 setup, I use a "Sky Ox". I recommend getting something with an "oxymizer" (or equivalent on-demand) cannula to save your oxygen. I can fly a long time on one tank using one of those. Best of luck with your mountain checkout. I'm always happy to cross paths with controllers who are pilots themselves. Makes communicating that much easier. Give me a shout the next time you see me flying. I'd be happy to visit you at work sometime.
Thanks for the update. We’re you required to change the spinner with the new prop or was that a matter of choice? I am a bit of a purist and am reluctant to alter the original appearance of the airplane.
Hey Mike, I did go to OSH and the plane's flying great. Unfortunately, I haven't found much time to edit videos lately. Work and Daddy-duty have consumed the majority of my time. I'll try to get some videos out soon.

The new spinner kinda takes away vintage look on your otherwise very classic looking Mooney.
