I got in contact with Dominique for those asking about yossi dina. The shop closed because of Covid so he's spending time with family right now. When things get better we will see him again..

Thanks for the info! It is somewhat strange that he had to close due of Covid, because the luxury industry has experienced a major boom during 2020. Looks like he wasn't able to capitalize on it.

When Michael was there last time Yossi was liquidating everything half price or below.. the rush for money was visible.. then you go on holiday but you close the business and someone else take over the shop and change the name... hello 👋
I came back to review your cologne, it just arrived a few minutes ago. First of all, the packaging is amazing!!! I absolutely love the carbon fiber box. The bottle is also beautiful, the black jewels really make it look like something special. Great presentation! My one problem with the packaging is that I can't decide whether or not to keep the bottle in the box or to put it on display, lol. Truly, it's beautiful. Now the important part, the fragrance. It's very strong but not in an obnoxious way. I like being able to smell myself throughout the day, so I think the fact that it's strong is good. It's very masculine, the juniper berries really stands out but it's absolutely wonderful. You don't need to spray a lot to be noticed which is good because your supply will last longer. Really impressed with this one and I look forward to a new scent in the future. Great job!

I had mentioned in a prior video that I went to see Yossi Dina in CA, and he was not in business and the store was empty. This is the new tenant in the old Yossi space. Same type of tenant if you get me.

The earliest Rolex was simply named such. Rolex came into its own as a rist watch company in 1914 when the Kew Observatory awarded the Rolex a Class A certificate of Precision. Until this point that rating had only been awarded to Maritime Chronometers.

Rolex is not even considered as one of the "Royal Three" of watch companies. The Royal 3 watchmakers in the world are Audemars Piguet, Patek Philippe, and Vacheron Constantin. Together they form the holy trinity of watches, and each of these Swiss luxury watchmaker brands set the standard in innovative complications and style. So, although Rolex have a certain Prestige and in the last 80 years have been first in a number of innovations, they have a long way to go to gain the admiration of the Older watch companies!

That looks like a mid-late 60's model Seamaster. Unlikely to be "one of the first", since Omega had been making them for almost 20 years by then.

Question PM: because your watches are rarely used, mostly sit in a vault and the movements stop for long periods, how often do you have them serviced by the 'factory'? Perhaps some comments on this and the use of Wolf winders next VLOG?

These watches are made to last a very long time.
@@Cortesevasive all mechanical movements are lubricated using grease and oil, grease and oil just like in a motor vehicle will have a shelf life before it loses viscosity etc. Try parking a car up for 30 years,putting a new battery on and expecting it to run like it was brand new..won't happen, now factor in some tolerances in watches are 0.01 mm

The first Rolex wasn't called Rolex it was a Wilsdorf and Davis from the London shop it was only after the first World War started that the name was changed to Rolex.
Let’s be honest, Michael knows nothing about watches and these Arabs are just doing the usual business move of just agreeing with everything he is saying. They’re all clueless. I wouldn’t trust the legitimacy of these Rolex’s at all.

Always love seeing vintage Rolex’s but that vintage Omega Seamaster 300 was beautiful. I’ve been seeing channels covering vintage Omega’s more and more and I think they’re going to start trending in the future.

You know, if you mention a price of a watch that's higher than his selling price, he has to go with that. Just allow him to tell you his price. Some old watches are refurbished and therefore cheaper but when he hears your higher price, he has to go with that.
They’re seller, so they know exactly how much the watches are on gray market, they know much better you know a price. Don’t be silly.

I always wondered how this type of stores can survive. I mean, they are surely high on inventory of expensive stuff but everytime Mike visits them they are always empty of customers!
They close when the video's are being shot. Too much inventory on the counters.

I know Michael is just a watch enthausiast and i don't expect much from him when it comes to watches and their history. But the salesman trying to sell a 100k+ 6150 without knowing anything about it just baffles me.
Maybe if the store was just selling watches. You don't expect him to know everything about jewelry and art history too do you?
People who sell products usually don't have too deep of a knowledge about their products. They got to where they are because they can sell, not because they know everything.

I like Rolex. I never stopped wearing watches even when I started carrying a cell and wearing watches were out of style. I really would love a second Rolex that has more diamonds that I could wear on special occasions. I wear my basic Rolex as a daily watch.
A phone is not great for telling time and is very rude to pull out in front of other people and at a business meeting is a no no.

he says ever thing is box and papers, yet has a 250k PP sitting out the box right at front of cabinet.
Obviously you don't realize that many places store watch boxes behind the counter or in another room. SMH
@@jasonm.8749 obviously i do, but surely if you have a PP that's worth 250k and an RM you have it presented in their boxes no !, why show a 16k Rolex in its box and yet have their two most expensive watches just sitting on a cushion like the $3500 omega at the far end, this is a retail shop its not a good look for a watch in a display case, if it was in the window as a used watch i would understand, but its in the shop in a display case beside multiple Rolex's in their box's !!! whats the difference, why box all the Rolex's and not the two most expensive watches.
@@edinburgh2007 my guess is they are brand new (the rolex, well unworn). Plus to be honest my guess is they will get far more traffic for the Rolex then the PP. Plus he may of just been referring to the Rolex watches in the case..

Just to help ProducerMichael here, Rolex is only a good investment in name and materials - but not a great chronometer for its money. There will come a point in time amassed with many Rolex watches to offload as soon as you find out. Quality rather than quantity. Money can't buy style and knowledge. The movement in an Omega is far superior n its price bracket.

Hey Michael. Big fans here but if we’re going to invest time in getting to know these people that you bring to us… you need to give us more of an update about them. This was crazy to just say you don’t know what happened and then go into the store without an update.
You guys need to learn a bit more about watches. Omega used to be waaaay more expensive than rolex in early days, and explorer certainly wasn't a first rolex but (supposedly) a first watch to be taken to the mount everest peak.

That first explorer looks like it is running extremely slow. A show piece for sure but a service to make sure it keeps ticking would be smart.

Yossi is smarter than most think. I betcha that guy still runs this store undercover and these people are his puppets. Changing a name on a business that STILL appears to be the same kind of business means its a tax situation he was into. Perhaps his expensive items sold before Covid-19 had such a great income return, the guy knew his and everyone elses sales dropped like a stone. HIs thought, might as well not pay the IRS. Time to gooooooo.
So these people are perhaps his front runners and Yossi is still caking it in another country under an assumed name. Again this is just a scanerio but watching Yossi for years on this channel he isn't one to let his expensive stuff go easily.
