- In this video you’ll see detailed analysis of the double leg takedown. It’s one of the most used throws in MMA.
It’s quite universal. This here option was used by me countless times. You can outplay a striker with this technique.

Mission of the “SAMBO ACADEMY” project
We strive to view sambo as an universal grappling style in order to achieve soul and body harmony.
We think that an individual should improve in different aspects of life. We’d like to give any athlete proper development of speed, durability, patience, confidence and creative imagination.
We collect and systemize the experience of the best athletes and coaches from all continents that anyone can learn from the best regardless of the geographical location
Our projects aim various age categories and physical abilities.
Using them will help you find solution for their troubled areas such as: mat grappling, stand up wrestling, psychology, food consumption, weight cut, referring...
Also for people who’s only started Sambo as an athlete or a coach.
Our most important goal is to make Sambo accessible in the world.
Enough using old principles and habits! We’re not afraid of development and new things!

The differences between freestyle are important for self defence. Also, I appreciate that detail about splitting the person, so you don't get countered with Uchi-mata. My coach said same thing.
Ah, the Power Double Leg... a thing of beauty.
If you made a clickbate video titled something like *'Why Batman would do Sambo'* you'd get the millions of subs you deserve mate. The Bioneer does it all the time.
@The Coffee Dude He *was* but its the same old material. It'd be cool if he gave himself challenges or apply what he learnt somehow...
"It's not goїng to happen if you just watch the video." Well said 👍🏾
Wow, this channel is a hidden gem.
This is my favorite! 👏👏👏
Excellent video!!!
Glad you liked it!
thank you 👍
Thank you too
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it
Great tutorial, as always...
Thanks again!
@@IvanVasylchuk_silapartera Hey Ivan, im a big fan. Can i just quickly ask, do you think heavy sledgehammer work improved your boxing/punch power?
As one wise man said, " Don't fear the man that practice 10,000 moves one time, but fear the man that practice one move 10,000 times."
its true
personally, I fear both.
I like that
@@Rootreaper you mean my comment, right?
are there even 10,000 types of kicks in existence
I love how the translator added the sound effect at 1:35
Wish we had sambo here in the US
I'll second this, you can hardly find sambo anywhere, let alone combat sambo. I always liked mixing up grappling and striking, but it's hard to find a school that does that well (besides the elite MMA camps). There are pure BJJ schools everywhere (mostly gi). In my experience BJJ schools don't even teach wrestling/takedowns sufficiently, let alone striking.
@@TastelessSoftware try judo
Like a rugby tackle
Lol just was gonna say. Same technique they teach u in rugby
Sir make videos on ground work ...please sir
Thank you, sensei!
Any time!
Can you do a video explaining the differences of freestyle wrestling shoes and sambo wrestling shoes and why sambo wrestling shoes don’t have grips on the bottom of them like freestyle shoes?
No grips for foot sweeps and to avoid someone's foot getting stuck on the mat
Ok watched the whole video and read some comments.
So first me see in which style we using the double leg freestyle wrestling, jiu jitsu or mma based on this we must adjust our double leg in freestyle we mostly drop down but in mma it wouldn't be nessesary cause you standing up in mma.
But anyway what matter's the most is speed for an double leg that why it is hard to pull it off against a good guy also you could get easier countered if you mess up your Double leg. the single leg is the saver variant but to the same time it has tons of more options to finish that's why it also is more difficult to learn. So if yiu natural giftet with high speed and explosion learn the double when not take your time to learn different single legs
Many variations of a double. The only wrong thing is to shoot with your head down. In high school it is okay
Khabib appeared to be going for singles and Iaquinta limped out.
I run a martial arts academy in Australia & will help pay for you to relocate if you are in danger of the Russians. Australia is safe & we need Sambo brother.
Thank you very much, I am safe, my relatives cannot leave now, I will pass on your help to them. My paypal is silaparteraschool@gmail.com
1:38 The first time i did mma in my life, i sparred a sambo fighter, which made us travel the whole width of the mat with a double legged takedown. I was literally flying😂
😄😄😄
Viva a Ukraine. Força!
So when you do the double leg, do you not drop your knee to the floor?
yes
Based on my instinct as a human. I think this is the best double leg for reality. In this Channel
@@IvanVasylchuk_silapartera Sir Ivan! Can i ask how can i practice it alone because in the gym they all just want the drop knee to the floor double leg. I think i want to practice your double leg sambo alone. How can i do it Sir Ivan. Thank you
@@randomvinesph1218 show this video to your friend and practice together...alone will not work
@@randomvinesph1218 if your coach emphasis the knee on the floor then he doesn't understand a basic principle. Knee on the floor is a consequence of the shoot, usually your shoulder hit your opponent first and you don't mind your knee at all. It will touch the floor because the impact over your opponent makes him moving backwards.
Ian Nepomniachtchi
Is he lifting him with majority technique or is he using mad strength ? Making him look light 🤣🤣
technique 😉
@@IvanVasylchuk_silaparterado have any advice i started mma 3 month ago and and sometimes its hard for me to lift up sometimes its okay im 14 old 180 cm 63kg
How much do I need to pay to get down to Ukraine and fight with Ivan Vasylchuk... Ivan I'm coming for you 😀
😊😊😊
Why does Khabib put his head the same side as his lead foot? (Opposite of this video)
maby he do double leg from wrestling? 😉
@@IvanVasylchuk_silapartera Nope. In wrestling the put the head opposite side of lead foot too.
Khabib put his head the same side as his lead foot to avoid the guillotine choke (bjj choke).
@@honorylealtad5596 How does it do that? The head is still in the same position.
@ScorpionSuerte You wont understand because you need to internalize how a guillotine works first. Ask your bjj coach or start training bjj.
Hey brother just send a Message seeing if you guys are OK And is it really as bad in Ukraine as they say it is in America
Im fine, i live in Spain, but all my relatives in Ukraine...and situation is not cool
@@IvanVasylchuk_silapartera Glad to see that you’re doing All right And I hope everything works out for your relatives Tell then stay strong and hang in there brother
What about guillotine?
You have to have good neck/head posture. Guillotine danger comes from bad shots and posture.
I have to interrupt at the beginning already khabib.does a single leg and no double leg you were already here wrong and i just watched a bit
