    I had to travel hence the delay, I got another setup here but for this one, I had to finish it on my laptop. The Rock was on his way out but he wasn't half assing it in the slightest, especially in ring. He had some nice dream matches here and it's kinda unfortunate he didn't stick around because he was at his best in ring here, but it is what it is. What did you think of The Rock's run?

    The Rock's final days in WWE before leaving for Hollywood were amazing. In-ring, he had improved tremendously, having great matches against the Undertaker, Kurt Angle, Eddie Guerrero, and Brock Lesnar. His promos were top-tier. He delivered a ton of great work in the space of a few months. He was one of the best highlights of WWE in 2002.

    The Rock’s final run before Hollywood was such an underrated time. From late 2001 till SummerSlam 2002, he still was amazing and definitely gave some of my favorite matches ever, such as Vengeance 2002, WrestleMania X8, and much more. Truly a great time before the iconic turn.👍

    People hate on Cena for calling the Rock out for leaving for Hollywood when Cena did it himself but the difference is The Rock left while he was still in his prime and one of the top guys in the company with no up incoming stars to become the face of the WWE except for Lesner who was a heel. Cena left when he was no longer in his prime and stars were already built like Reigns, Rollins, Ambrose, Styles etc. to become the face of the WWE. Not only that, but Cena still wrestles. The Rock hasn’t had a real match since Wrestlemania 29.

    • @RonCorleone
      @RonCorleone Рік тому +9

      I'm not trying to get an argument about Rock and Cena, I just want to say that I disagree with the argument(and it's possible that I'm misinterpreting what you said) that The Rock left as the top star of the company but with on incoming stars to become the face of the company as opposed to when Cena left there were already stars to become the face of WWE. When The Rock left WWE may no longer have had an uber megastar like him or Stone Cold but they still had The Undertaker, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, and Kurt Angle as far as solid main eventers. They still had guys like Booker T, Chris Jericho(who had already been Undisputed Champ), Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, RVD, Jeff Hardy, Edge, along with Brock Lesnar as guys who could be consider the next crop of guys who could be main eventers.

    • @DragonBallzMoviesHD
      @DragonBallzMoviesHD Рік тому +6

      lol . The Rock left after earning billions for the company. Cena is not good at drawing ratings and ppv buys . The Rock was a megastar during the attitude era and achieved everything in the span of his short career . Cena left as soon as he received a bigger paycheck. The Rock on the other hand still wrestled for two more years even after getting paid highest for a debutant actor over 5 million. Cena can wrestle for two more decades and he will still not be able to draw more money than The rock.

    The Rock in the 2000s Hollywood was popular and well like in Hollywood but in 2023 he is no longer popular and well liked Dave Bautista and John cena took that spot away from the Rock in 2000s was peak Rock in 2020s the lost his popularity in Hollywood go ask black Adam and Shazam his ruin that franchise and he is going to Ruin Fast and the furious franchise when he comes back in number 11 the Rock has competition from John cena Dave Bautista and Seth Rollins

    Ummm I’m sorry sir but when Austin came back he did not get that spot back the rock was so over everybody wanted to see The rock from catch phrases to burying the roster he even closed WcW doors he definitely helped put the nail in the coffin cause once agin everybody wanted to see the rock he was that over at the time I mean Austin did get a pop of course but it wasn’t as big as it was because it was Rocks era all the way stone cold said this himself
