I love this album. It's hard to pick a favorite, and the order of the top few shift around from time to time, but this one is always in my top 3 or 4. Afraid of Sunlight and Beyond You are my favs from this album.
Solid review. I’ve always been a sucker for “Gazpacho” (the song, not the soup). Along with Pete’s featured bass work, it’s shifting time signatures throughout grab me every time.
Canibal Surf Babe is the one song I realy dislike on this one, at least the studio version. It´s just a gimmik killing a okay song. The did simular things later again with answering machine. Live bothe of these work actually. The rest of the record is great, even if it´s not a seconed brave.
