This video contains flashing lights.
If you’re desperate to take your house parties to the next level, this could be the gadget for you. Inside this Pelicase is the Wicked Lasers LaserDock. Introduced on Indiegogo this past September, the LaserDock is a home laser show system which houses a laser projector and music visualiser in one. Simply plug it into your Mac or PC to create your very own light shows in a flash.

What a cool gadget, Ste. Your video shows it off brilliantly!
Thanks for y our video. Do you think it could be used with an iPad ?
Update on availability in the US? My son would absolutely love this 💙
Hello Professor, I love this device very very much, how much is its price, how is it delivered to Iraq, and is this device a rainy one?
cool. if I want to use it or making music video with my dance team members, in what orientation in order not to hurt the camera sensor? any idea?
Hey from where do i get this, and what is the cost of it
Hej professor, jeg elsker denne enhed meget, hvor meget er prisen, hvordan leveres den til Irak, og er denne enhed en regnfuld enhed?
Am looking like this one.
Version 0.99 is pretty nice but get the dongle and a pre-approved laser. It is a lot more easy to customize now and had lots (really so many it is confusing) pre-made options including games and some kind of interactive harp.
Good video
Thanks Hayden!
Hi guys, whats the name of the first song? Thank you
i want a this laser light
It is even cooler then shown. I was a very early bird adopter (when it was $199) but did not buy it after trying the early software. It is now MUCH better so I got the dongle so I can buy any ILDA laser even if Laserdock dies.
How to buy the product.....
I am in india
..
Sir ... what is the price...
Is it available in India
when will it be available in the United States.?
You need LSO certification and FDA/CDRH approval. You're looking at taking a one-day course and spending $700/6-12months on the approval. Then you need to document all shows and submit to FDA yearly to keep your approval valid.
Hey does the laser fill a room
Where can i buy this product?
SO COOL!! I'm in the states.. How to get?? I would want 2.

@@pnnielsen I don't think that's entirly true. You're correct on the LSO if you want to certify yourself and the FDA to stay current. If you do events, you can just hire one. I know that's a bummer to spend that money. I started out with the basic 400mW X-laser which was nice as X-laser helped me with variance though the FDA and I took the basic training for free and moved up to 4W on the bigger events. Also it depends on your state as well. I've done events on Native American land and they have there own rules. It's really not clear when you first get started. It's interesting as most of the time, they don't even ask if you're approved to operate lasers. I knew a rental production company owner who got busted many years ago at an outside EDM party.
@@rlg222 The first requirement is that the actual Laser must be FDA approved. A year ago, this answer was posted on-line: "Unfortunately, the LaserDock is not currently a varianced laser in the US." This may of course have changed. Another thing that changed about a year ago is that FDA has become more strict with laser show variances. When I applied, they actually required me to have an LSO. Fortunately I have one. The laserist helping me with the application was surprised and said this is something new that they did not require in the past. (May I assume you got your variance more than a year ago when it was not yet required)?
@@pnnielsen Thanks for the response Peter. I know this video is quite older and didn't know if you or anyone would respond at all. Yeah, this was a few years ago actually. The pandemic killed my small production business here in AZ since mid march. I don't know anything about the laser dock but i'm not surprised. That's why I went with X-Laser because they are FDA approved. I didn't know about the LSO requirement just too get the variance. Then you know much more than me on this subject. It was kind of tough to get events where they wanted lasers since I'm pretty small and most people don't know much about the subject.
these units are going to make "old school" laser projector manufacturers scramble to keep up
At $199 it would ahe been revolutionary, at $299 it would have been a game changer, at $600-700 it is lame. I got the dongle instead.
Is it possible to use something like that on a music concert without blinding the artists?
You put it behind the artist dummy.
i need this software can u people help me out

Hii

@@SunnyJulienDivine In my House - Liru
@@dobbysurround1540 OMG thank you !! 😎
Is it legal in the UK ?? Has anybody bought one?.
Probably
Can you draw your own images?
What wattage?
1000 mW, I suspect it is the old M1000 Magnus Light innards.
Why does the price keep going up and what happened to the ILDA output port? none of this is mentioned in your video?
Its not mentioned coz Apple tards dont live in the real world. He probably doesnt know what an ILDA port is or even that PCs piss all over Macs. What do you expect. He purchased it because it said would work on a MAC which makes him think hes link of laser now. "It just works", yeah whatevah. The best software for controlling lasers has always been on PC and it has a name.... its called PANGOLIN.. which means hes never seen it because he lives in Apple bubble.
removed! That one decision killed it.
laser light price
$600-700. Get the dongle for $199 and add as many lasers as you want for less.
ah yes now i can be a dj at home with my broke karaoke machine
I would love this. but needs DMX and ILDA
god damn if this wasn't $600 i'd be tripping fuckin balls to this thing.
I'm not going to ask for advice by the looks of things ur not going to help is only apple how much were too get them? If I hear bk ahaaa
As a 4 years laser owner I didn't get impressed.....I endup sell mine.....power considerable weak comparing with my D1000 ormy DL 1000
How does it compare to the 2000 mW Ministar from Magnus. I assume the Magnus wins since this is probably based upon their discontinued M1000 Ministar.
As a laser engineer I am very much underwhelmed. You paid for a device
that was "being invented" when they have already been around for 15
years. Hmmmm. Ever heard of Pangolin... google it. ILDA is a laser
standard which is where those animations come from. You put those ILDA
animations into any Pangolin player and you have exactly the same thing.
You can connect your Pangolin to ANY ILDA laser on the market and you
have pretty much the same thing. Sound activation and also MIDI
activation so you can get live instant reactions in the laser from
someone playing a MIDI keyboard on stage for example. You can connect
Pangolin to 20 lasers and all have them doing variants of the above
live. So what is so revolutionary about this other perhaps that it works
for Apple retardation. Sorry but im not feeling the wow considering I
have 4 lasers and this is nothing new. Im actually glad this was never
released because to be quite frank like MANY indigogo fake "inventions"
this was not an invention at all... and they were diddling you for old
tech. I A cheap Pangolin will cost you £300 to control a laser - brand
new! Plus Pangolin gives you complete power to whizz out teh colours or
spin axis strobe - and act like a true VJ, where you get hands on the
controls.. and you can control many lasers independently at once, which
this cannot do. It seems like tjhis software is just a "switch to next
animation" button. Yeuch. Whereas this software was just cripple ware
that just cycles through a bunch off off the shelf ILDA animations. What
a backwards step. I like your vids - not sure about your love of Apple
tho... but seriously dont fund indigogo crap where they are just
reinventing the wheel badly. Sadly also this projector doesnt have a
INDUSTRY STANDARD ilda connector on it, just USB so it wont be
compatable with all the INDUSTRY STANDARD software which has been around
for a very long time. Which means you are locked in with this and very
little will ever be developed for it... we have seen this sort of stuff
fail many times before. Shame that.
Not to mention it is F'n dangerous as hell and ILLEGAL TO OPERATE. Read and understand this before thinking about touching a laser that is over 5 milliwatts. It is the law that you know it as a laser operator in the US, and you are subject to a $250,000 fine for violation. I am sure the RoHS has an equivalent brochure of the safety regulations you are breaking in the UK, but I am in the US, so I don't know what those are. www.fda.gov/downloads/MedicalDevices/DeviceRegulationandGuidance/GuidanceDocuments/UCM095304.pdf
Dear Truth Seeker, what would you recommend for a Pangolin and ILDA. Let's say we are working with a 1500 budget or less. Thank you in advance.
I too am interested in this, I'd like to play with this in my garage. It would be awesome if the Truth Seeker would answer before I burn out my eyeballs being stupid. Yesterday I was all ready to mount a Wicked Laser Arctic Spyder class 4 laser on a fidget spinner hooked onto my old model train set, but I've read this probably won't be a good idea. Safe to say I need some guidance.
Doubt he's ever going to answer Angel, but I think after researching this week I've found your answer. This seems to be the least expensive good quality ILDA laser projector,

Here is the Pangolin software.
phantomdynamics.com/pangolin-quickshow-qsxl-dac-laser-light-show-computer-software/
This is going to stretch a bit above your budget but only by a couple hundred bucks. I believe anything above this is going to require some sort of variance, and even with this you're going to have to be careful. I've been over to the IDLA website looking at how to get certified as well.
Hi there
Can you please tell me how I go about getting more animations
for a Q lase 600 rgb many thanks
Only one probblem with this thing...
ITS $700
Yep, I bought in at $199 and even at $299 it was great but not at $600+.
