@mrchaus get higher in that big right turn by the tree. Turns slow you down anyways, so gain energy by gaining altitude, then use it (like Evan) in the next straight. But for reals, i loved this video so much, thanks and ya'll gonna be hard to beat in KC

Do you ever use blackbox telemetry to analyse your flying? For example in cars you would look at throttle, brake, steering position, what gear you're in, so on and so forth... it would be an awful lot of faff but I do think seeing those inputs and differences between good and bad laps could unveil some things for analysis that would otherwise be hidden when using just DVR. Ten minutes buggering about with SD cards could shortcut hours of trying to figure something out.
Also a good demonstration of why flying stock can be valuable. I have never once while flying standard 5" thought about prop loading, because I don't have to. But learning how to avoid over-loading and the techniques for that is going to do nothing but improve my 5" flying. I really liked the point about maintaining motor rpm and not stalling out the prop. Going back to logs, you could look at throttle position vs motor rpm and how far the motor rpm dropped while the throttle was pinned as an indicator of how much you're stressing the system.
I wish I had access to a field to bloody fly in at the moment!

Interesting idea! Definitely going to try and bring more tech into the next one. Keep an eye out!

    Love to see this!
Idea to record overhead with a mavic to directly compare races lines.

Great video brother. Can't wait to get in on this spec series. Loved freedom spec when I raced it years ago! Got my Pro Spec frame in and working on finishing the build now!

How good is the race woop at freestyle trying to decide between this or the fractal 65

It absolutely can freestyle. Small durable and powerful. Will do the trick no problem
