Thanks for taking the time to post these. I'm working with my son and these have been really great in introducing him to the sport. He loves the arm chop breakdown from top and this will be a great move for him to work from there if the arm bar isn't there. Really liked the headlock defense series too. Thanks again!
Great details! The 2-on-tilt is my favorite turn as well. I would like to add an option for when the opponent flattens out. I like to tripod on my toes and forehead (pressed between his shoulder blades) and get my hips high. Then my near side foot hooks under his near ankle, so I can create more torque as I throw my hips down towards the mat and into the turn while lifting on that near ankle with my near foot. Anyhow, great video.
good video kid keep doing them, I just subscribed. I assist in my kids wrestling team for his school and we are constantly looking for new ideas sometimes the basics are forgotten, thanks again great job
Ahhhh beautiful, trying to teach my 1st year wrestler 7th grader son, this is one is very learnable, I'm 40 now so I can't remember everything I've learned 😆
I am new to the technicalities of wrestling. The guy in white shirt has control of the black shirt. From this position/ move is it possible for the black shirt to score a pinfall in a match if the white shirt technique is bad and rolls on his shoulders, even tho white shirt has control of black shirt, black shirt would be applying downward pressure on white shirt's shoulders, so would this be a pinfall win for black? Another way to ask my question is control necessary to score a pinfall, or can a pinfall be scored while not having control of your opponent?
Your videos are amazing and my 8 year old and his partner is set on mastering the crab ride. How long is it suggested to work each video before moving on to the next? And should i start with the 2on1 wrist and legs or the crab?
Kevin Greene The order doesn’t matter. I drilled this stuff everyday when I was getting good at it (I made up the drills). 30 minutes a day for a few weeks should do it...
Jason Layton Thanks. We will see how it goes. He is only just finishing his 2nd year. I dont want to burn him out like i see other parents do but that will be our off season goal to master. He has a club record of 30-8 with 14 pins and only ever been pinned once so the talent is there. The usa tournys sike him out for some reason 2-7 this year. Character building haha Your videos are the most helpful for us to watch! Keep up the good work sir
Jason..at 425 the reason why he cant jump over is because when you baracade your arm against your own thigh you create a frame a barrier so hes unable to jump over
SlickNick no one is stalling, they are trying to avoid your turn. You can get them on their back with the right adjustments, but it's very difficult to learn. Keep practicing against light resistance and you will eventually be able to do it.
I'm wrestling off for a varsity spot tomorrow vs an older bigger kid I beat him once but he beat me today so how do u think I could beat him or pin him. Btw I'm only in 7th grade and he's in 8th grade
victor perez watch the video called “the rules of wrestling explained for beginners and parents” the look up the video called “half Nelson” That should be a good start for you.
Mr. Clean turned wrestler
Bro chill😂

This is outstanding Coach, great job teaching this series!
Thank you for making these videos and helping our kids learn how to wrestle better!
Thanks for the video. I’ve been watching Spencer Lee. He’ll turn different sides with the same 2on1. How do you know which way to turn.

Tough one to learn, but really good long term

thanks coach, good stuff
Do u keep 2 on 1 at 3:09? And what move did u say at 5:09
It’s better to keep the 2on1, but it’s not necessary. I didn’t say a move, but I began to demonstrate the ankle lace leg entry.

Nice!!
Spencer Lee brought me here he goes crazy with this
Whenever I get my friend in a 2 on 1 tilt, he kicks my leg elevating his legs away and escapes. How do I prevent this?
You're going to have to figure it out on your own, all I can tell you is that you should be able to get a 2-count if you get the 2on1. Best of luck.
@@JasonLayton thanks
IMA TRY THIS MOVE TADAY I HAVE A MATCH IM SO EXCITED!
Howd it go?
+Deep Puce went great tried this move worked for a sec but he got out...
+Deep Puce I ended up winning though
+DaMosquito jimenez Nice.
Deep Puce thanks
3:27 he rolls toward you
4:07 he rolls away from you
Felt like the best way to avoid the headlock is to tuck your head in and keep your head close to their body
when did dr.evil learn to wrestle?
They are taking away that two on one arm trap from behind, though.
Great 2on1 tutorial!
couldn't this pin the person performing the 2on1 tilt
When you are new to it, yes. But once you get experienced with it, it won't happen.
+Jason Layton
For the mpst part. The top ranked 106 in my state (MA) was pinned by this last year.
FreeKicks4U did the person doing it get pinned or the person getting tilted get pinned
Cartwheel jump over your far leg?
Bilbo Baggins easier said than done 😁
wow
Hi coach, if I have a 2 on 1 but their on their belly. What do I do? Also, who's stalling here?

You can also going into the figure 4 and slip the leg in...I'm just saying
Yes you can!!!

T.Y. Archer whoever wants it more will win. Decide you are going to win and give him everything you got.
Hey thx I ended up beating him and got the varsity spot I used this move 2 times but didn't get a pin plus I beat him 18-0
You cant beat a kid 18-0 it would be a tech fall at 15 points lol
ClimitoD true
@@climitod8524 LOL
So is this a pin
victor perez no, you’ll just get point for holding them on their back.
Points*
Jason Layton how do I get pins then
victor perez watch the video called “the rules of wrestling explained for beginners and parents” the look up the video called “half Nelson”
That should be a good start for you.
