I loved the givenchy I bought (and sold) the small it was just too big for me and the strap was rarely used. I always wanted the mini version and regretted that I never got it in that finish.
Great video! I adore my Givenchy but found myself not reaching for it because of the strap coming undone. I recently realized the straps come undone and so I removed and replaced the 'G' shape connector with a swivel push lobster clasp like the ones on LV bags from Amazon and its a life changer!! You can't even tell I made an alteration. I kick myself for not thinking of it sooner because I knew the issue with the strap and still got the bag. Now, I'm really enjoying my bag without the stress of it coming undone out of nowhere and it's secure most importantly- because who wants to drop their bag while out 'n about, right!
Omg you are a genius!! 🤯 replacing the connector never occurred to me but now that I think about it, you can unbuckle the adjustments and change it so easily! Wow, I am mind blown. After all these years 🤣 thank you so much for the amazing tip!! 🥰💕
I love the new version of the Speedy Nano! They finally made the strap removable! I almost cut the straps off of mine, but so glad I didn’t! I was able to sell mine and grabbed the new version! 👏👏👏 So much better! Now you can change the strap to whatever you want! 💕
so true on this! so many ppl jus see the pretty side but they need to be practical! i was dying for a nano speedy previously but due to the high demand i didn’t get it. but i got a speedy 20 which it fits so many things and i am glad! there so many ppl complained abt the givenchy bag. i loved it at first but i find it way too boxy! i recently jus purchased the coach kip crossbody and i loved it! 😂 jus realise you did a review too! lov it! hav a good day~~~~ thanks for the video again

I bought a medium Balenciaga Downtown in black. The magnet on the flap is so strong, after just a couple of uses the leather around it went noticeably saggy! It's still a great bag and when it's closed you can't see that part anyway.
I own the Prada and I totally agree with you about the strap and the pouch. I end up leaving that pouch at times or just snap it on the side of the purse instead even though it looks a bit bulky but better than having it attached to where it’s supposed to 🤷🏻♀️ like you, I love it but yeah if I could change one thing that would be it. Lol
Chanel has these little chain/strap shorteners that you can put on either side of where the chain threads through on your WOC. That way it’s a bit bulkier and acts like a stopper. Chanel gave me 2 clips when I bought my Gabby back pack bc it just pulled through on one strap which was super annoying. I’ve also heard people making their own by threading a button through the chain. Give it a shot! Also I was going to buy the re edition but not sure I like how the new strap has the leather tab that the mini pouch attaches to. If u chose not to use the mini pouch (bc sometimes I prefer the cleaner look) the leather patch looks random. And the Prada embossing is also moved to the back of the strap. Let me know your thoughts bc I’m trying to figure which one to buy!

I don't have the Chloe Nile, but maybe a sticker could help? You know, these stickers they sell to protect the hardware, usually they have some stickers for magnet closures as well 🤔? Maybe that would make it a little bit weaker? And don't worry, in Europe, we call the shoes sneakers, too 😊. But what annoyed me was the zipper that scratched my hand and arm whenever I reached inside. Thanks for your honest take on the bag! I’m going to give the Antigona another chance and get the mini sport or the mini lock - I can’t decide. I’m leaning towards the Lock bc it has a magnetic closure instead of a zipper.
Hello! Yes I do! I’ve heard Apple Garde is great to protect vachetta leather but it’s not sold in Australia so I’ve had to find an alternative. If you’re from Australia, try the Kiwi Extreme Protector spray. That’s what I’ve used on my Nano Speedy ☺️
Can you use organizer in nano speedy to make it more comfortable to take things out?? I just got mine one but still haven’t use it because it’s too cute>
I’ve tried using the organiser I have for my Palm Springs Mini Backpack (it fits perfectly in the nano speedy!) but I find it takes up a bit of space and makes it more difficult to put things in and take things out. You should use it! It’s soo cute!! 😍
im about to buy the prada reissue in the same combo as you so I have been researching a bit - you can attach the coin purse to the base where the clip on's are for both the straps. that way it sits alongside the main bag and no issues with it flailing around.

regarding the magnet closure..put a tape on the top magnet button.. the magnetic closure will still work, but not so strong :)

I purchased one month ago the leather version and it has also this detail so the mini pouch doesn’t move .
Add some tape to the magnet, keep layering until you get the strength that’s perfect for you.

Are the G hardware of the Givenchy strap heavy?
Not particularly noticeable. They are slightly heavier than say LV clasps, but nothing drastic. I wouldn’t consider them to be heavy.
