Mannn, I hope they finally chage the nuketown map. Literally keep it the same but widen the map area so there's 4 houses. Wouldn't make it much larger because the other houses are so close, BUT it would add a lot more spawn locations
I mean, they know that anything bigger than shoothouse are large nowadays. Also, need of the small maps was made because of how long and grindy the camo grind and weapon level up has become. people are now good to stay with small maps to complete their grind. Also, is it just me or that the larger the map, slower the movement will be and smaller the map, faster the movement will be is the COD philosophy which should be vice versa?
@@CoolManCoolMan123 I don't like small maps personally, I prefer the mediums, especially with fast movement. Action showed be paced so that it is fast but not too fast.
Comp is pretty screwed unless a bunch of remasters happen. I only see 3 viable comp maps of the 12 6v6 which are Vault, Protocol and Red Card. Maybe Vorkuta or Payback are viable but I kind of doubt it. I think you're way too generous if what you declare is a "lane" a lot of the areas you have as lanes I would classify as routes. See, I like the look of Red Card. I think non-standard more complex and a bit larger size overall will fit the movement of this game better. The classic vertical three lane designs I feel are not working anymore with how fast people can get into the center and ever into the enemy spawn. It’s TOO simple.
Red Card is giving me Departure vibes in terms of layout and the way it'll play. Which, for BO6, is a good thing. Feels like you might actually be able to breathe on that one.
I can’t say that I’m “excited” for any of the maps as the Beta was pretty disappointing in terms of variety. Looking at these overviews, some of them do appear to be a bit bigger but not by that much. The overwhelming majority of them aren’t much bigger than Rewind and I felt like that map was barely big enough to not be considered a tiny box. So, excited? That’s a strong word. But I am anticipating playing them and seeing what they feel like. Because in the end it is the flow and pacing that is important, not so much the size. We’ve seen small maps that play poorly and really big maps that play excellently and in general Treyarch seem to get that flow more than the other studios do. Still the vast majority of these maps are what I would classify as “small” which still do not lend themselves to this new movement they want to push on us. In the end, I’ll just have to play them to truly understand whether I enjoy them or not. Based on this there are at least 1 or 2 that are more my speed so I’m a little more optimistic than I was at the Beta stage, but that’s not saying much since there are only 1 or 2 of them lol. And I’m concerned that post launch content will just devolve into more Nuketown or Shipment clones like they did in MWIII. I stopped playing MWIII because all the maps were tiny and boring, it’s like they started off so strong and then gave up halfway through. Incredibly disappointing.
On vorcuta, what about having spawns short-ways on the map? That map will play very different if those are the primary spawns and the secondary is the current assumed primary spawn. It might seem odd, but don't utilize the funnels for objective modes or primary spawns. Give them good lines of sight and campable corners. Make them fun but not necessary
Looking at the overview of the remaining launch maps, it does make me feel more optimistic about the maps in this game. I was very concerned after the beta that the maps we had there were going to be the average size for most of the launch maps in BO6. Vault, Lowtown and Protocol for me stand out as potentially the best ones, and Red Card is HUGE. I can definitely predict that map becoming a favourite for SnD players.
Red Card kind of reminds me of Stadium, from the BO1 DLCs, with the layout just a bit Warhead looks kinda stupid fun that one reminds me of Aftermath from BO2, but looks much less cancerous to play
They are really going all in on the fun underground routes in this game. Skyline’s duct work, Vault’s Vault, Lowtown’s underground water routes, Red card looks like it has vents to bypass the action, and other maps look like they have some sections as well. I like it
Man I can’t wait for this game to come out. So hyped! Omni-movement totally ruined MW3 for me. Feels straight up frustrating trying to play without it lol
I actually like the idea of lowtown. I agree it will not be a competitive or cod in its finest form but I think creating different experiences on the maps is what keeps the game refreshing and what makes it fun
They've done that since bo3. Bo3 made it an excusive preorder bonus and didn't release it to everyone until March of the following year. Since then, they made it release around a month after the initial release. Their was/is the case for Bo4, BoCW, and Bo6
@@michaelespeland I am sick of Nuketown. It’s not small enough to be chaotic enough to stop people from just holding a few angles and indefinitely spawntrapping. It was fun back in BO1 and BO2 when the majority of the playerbase was noticeably worse and there was no strict SBMM, but now that map is awful to play on most of the time

Let's add this insane omnimovement mechanic, and then make it so you die in 10 seconds after leaving spawn! That's a great idea! We need bigger maps. Nuketown would be a considered a big map in this game.
Nuketown ain't even that big so omnidirectional movement would still reduce the game to chaos. don't give omnidirectional movement to modern warfare, we can't feed the bodybag simulator known as 'shipment"
@@SpiritofFireMrVaderThat's the point. Their saying Nuketown is small and even that would be considered one of the bigger launch maps compared to everything else
The maps in this game make me think they developed the maps before they remembered "Oh yeah we have to add tac sprint." I genuinely think they tried developing this game without tac sprint and maybe just omnimovement. It might be just me who thinks this but it genuinely feels like tac sprint was meant to be a perk or something. It just feels so off in a 3arc game. Hell even the doors feel strange in a 3arc game. Not sure if its just because this is 3arcs first game with all this new stuff but it just feels like it was forced in. The maps are designed in a way that they would fit perfectly into BO4/Cold War.
I think a couple of your lane graphics are slightly off; - Bottom lane on Lowtown should probably go over those bunched up boats in the corner rather than joining back up with mid lane on the bridge. - Shouldn't mid lane on Protocol just go through the left building instead of around it?
Well the maps look great to me, i dont understand the hate at all, i play call of duty to get into a lot of gunfights, these maps get you straight into the action, running around trying to find enemies is boring and slow.
If you struggle finding enemies on medium maps and therefore need only small maps then you got bigger issues. None of these are 3 lane, you can bend lines as much as you want but it doesn't change that fact. I could try to overlook the terrible maps if they actually had good game sync. But for me every treyarch game is awful and unplayable for this very reason. How can they use the same tools as Sledge and IW but get such a worse result? It really baffles me...
@@dereksmith3164 I find enemies on medium sized maps just fine, I love medium sized maps, I still get into a lot of gunfights and it's fun, the only thing I don't like is huge maps, I hate time limit gameplay, it's slow and boring, this is call of duty not hide and seek.

Vault looks like a great solid 3-Lane Map Lowtown is interesting with all the water not sure what to say it Payback aesthetically reminded me of Estate with the Manor and the green house which has me excited to see it Redcard with the way it curves reminds me of one of the BO1 Maps think it was Havela? Subsonic also gives BO1 vibes with the Blackbird, but unless I'm going for Camos or playing 1v1 with a friend typically not a fan of those extremely tiny maps Vorkuta again BO1 vibes reminds me of WMD aesthetically, I agree on those non rectangular maps with spawn trapping since it's such a tiny funnel Protocol I didn't play training in the Beta, the layout is strange but like a lot of the maps the aesthetics are great Warhead being a buried Nuketown is a cool idea not sure what to say with it

Alot of curved maps so you can dive sideways straight into them...
Seems very similar styles without much variety. A couple big maps is a nice change of pace.
Vorkuta banger confirmed, snow maps are always good
Payback reminds me of a direct nod to Skyfall manor, can’t wait to play that map
3 lanes is so obviously condescending, squad-friendly
Its crazy how bo2 graphics still look better than this game
WHERE IS SHIPMENT (sarcasm)
Red Card's minimap almost reminds me of KGB from Cold War
Vorkuta really looks like a bo1 style map which ig makes sense but excited to play it
It still amazes me that people pay a lot of money just to sit on a window on a game 😂
I'd love to see your builds for the mw2 guns after their buffs!
I never had access to stakeout in the beta😢
These are the worst set of maps I’ve ever seen
Nice, I drew the lines very similar to yours on reddit
Can't wait to enjoy this game on the PS5 PRO.
Im actually excited
I can't wait to play bo6
Nice , thanks

Nuketown AFTER launch xD what the hell happened to CoD after BO2???
They've done that since bo3.
Bo3 made it an excusive preorder bonus and didn't release it to everyone until March of the following year.
Since then, they made it release around a month after the initial release. Their was/is the case for Bo4, BoCW, and Bo6
Aren't people tired of that map?
It always comes out later man
They made cod Ghost after bo2
@@michaelespeland I am sick of Nuketown. It’s not small enough to be chaotic enough to stop people from just holding a few angles and indefinitely spawntrapping. It was fun back in BO1 and BO2 when the majority of the playerbase was noticeably worse and there was no strict SBMM, but now that map is awful to play on most of the time
Like this comment if you’re not a bot
You mean an OF bot or a call of duty bot because I'm definitely the latter with my 0.9 KD
In my defense I have a 2.09 WL to even that out
@@weirdeurasianboy8091 I meant OF bots that are flooding the comment section of every video smh
.9kd is above average so you’re deff not a bot either, give yourself more credit
@@Timkorporation Appreciate you homie
Vokuta my favourite 😊
I mean look at the size of the boats and other items on the tac-map, they take up a lot of space, so I think these are fairly small.
tbh i thing a lot of the boats and stuff arwe deceptively big, like subsonic for example might be bigger than we think
man what the fuck are these maps, what happened? we had raid, express, standoff, hijacked, slums, diesel, checkmate, miami etc just makes me sad, i didn't even think that treyarchs maps could be like that, like the other guy said in the comment section its like infinity ward/sledgehammer design maps which i am not a fan of sadly
My sentiments exactly
I agree the maps are bad but these are not IW style either... as someone who has fun with IW and Sledge games these are too trash for those studios
When did the scoreboard stop showing deaths in game? Will it be back in BO6?
No... you cannot even see kills as they hide that behind elims to avoid making terrible players feel bad
They did the same mistake from MW2019 at launch and BO4 I think

Game is DOA, if you buy this game don’t cry a week after launch about how much it sucks… you know exactly what you are buying
DOA? Do you know what that means. This game is going to be very popular. Now, will everyone enjoy it is another question altogether.
Have you played the beta?
I do enjoy a good chaotic map that's small and the spawns flip... Good for camo grinding...I.E shipment
Seems Ike most of the maps in this game
Yeah same man, I love these kinds of maps you get right into the action, I will take this style of maps over slow and boring ones any day of the week.
TikTok brain rot

The maps in this game make me think they developed the maps before they remembered "Oh yeah we have to add tac sprint."
I genuinely think they tried developing this game without tac sprint and maybe just omnimovement.
I think a couple of your lane graphics are slightly off;
- Bottom lane on Lowtown should probably go over those bunched up boats in the corner rather than joining back up with mid lane on the bridge.
@@dereksmith3164 for me personally I think Small or medium sized maps is the sweet spot but I guess everyone has their different preferences, but if a map is massive I will never vote for it, like in Cold war I hated Miami, it was so boring, I never played that map it was a snooze fest.
It really doesn't matter how great these maps may be or how good everything else is...The rigged match making system is going to ruIn any type of fun. So WHATEVER!
Wow what a unique and original take
Go cry elsewhere cause it's not changing regardless, just sound like a broken record lmfao!!!🤣🤣🤣
Doesn't make it wrong though@@landrychamberlain5037
What a brave statement
If that’s your expectation then just don’t get the game 😂 why support something that bothers you so much? FOMO?
According to blametruth theyre apparently not 3 lane maps lol
They barely are. They are more like 2 lane or 2.5 lane. This is because the one is almost always too much open which doesn't let anyone use those and instead be just a playing field for snipers and LMGs.
@@CoolManCoolMan123 thing is we dont know that so its generally false for maps that didmt even release. The maps we played on during the beta we know are 3 lane maps. Only one thats pretty open is a 6v6 faceoff map from the beta. All the other maps we never played on and only have map lay out design from the minimaps we dont know anything about to say its 2 to 2.5 lane maps which is genuinely false as highlighted by xclusive ace
Bêta map was so trash
Better than MW19, Vanguard, and MWII maps.
Lmao ight @@Phantom__Lion
@@Phantom__Lion vanguard yes but MWII and MW19 nope
Large maps are hot trash. Go play Grazna Raid or Arkov Peak and then talk about how fun the large maps are
Ngl I actually like all the launch maps, gives me black ops 1 vibes. Not sure why. But the map variety is insane. And even though I like the modern warfare games more, I gotta admit I haven't seen map variation like this what mw2019, I wanna say. I did enjoy all the maps in that game. So I'm excited for bo6.
No big maps with a bunch of doors, safe spaces, and windows? Huge W, I'm glad.
Not hyped for this dumpster fire game. Y’all can have the SBMM/EOMM. Shitty anticheat. Cheating streamers who get whitelisted while I get spam reported and banned for wiping 1 team.
Go play xdefiant. The sweats don't go away just because sbmm is turned off
Vault looks like a great solid 3-Lane Map
Lowtown is interesting with all the water not sure what to say it
Payback aesthetically reminded me of Estate with the Manor and the green house which has me excited to see it
Redcard with the way it curves reminds me of one of the BO1 Maps think it was Havela?
Subsonic also gives BO1 vibes with the Blackbird, but unless I'm going for Camos or playing 1v1 with a friend typically not a fan of those extremely tiny maps
Vorkuta again BO1 vibes reminds me of WMD aesthetically, I agree on those non rectangular maps with spawn trapping since it's such a tiny funnel
Protocol I didn't play training in the Beta, the layout is strange but like a lot of the maps the aesthetics are great
Warhead being a buried Nuketown is a cool idea not sure what to say with it
Cool story 👏👏
People calling for large maps:
🤡🤡🤡
Yeah have fun voting for it because it’ll never beat a small map. 😂
Hopefully they just don't buy this trash game and they revert to give the consumer some variety. Playing the same style map 24/7 is super boring...
I hope they lose revenue and await the next Sledge or IW game
I just want Shipment.....where's shipment!
Try "all the shipments" in MWIII
Not a black ops thing lmao come back in 2 years
Treyarch don't make shipment. They make nuketowm
You have 3 games to play if you just want to run around on shipment for the rest of your life. They just added like 5 variants on mwiii
Nuketown is the BO version of Shipment.....
I hate water maps and will probably hate that one too
