Some additional info for MOBO They can handle R7 2700X (can't handle OC) Best what can handle is R5 2600X after OC to 4.1Ghz, but I don't know if a fan was not dropped on a heatsink. In the case with the good flow, I think it will be ok. And if someone can pay 15$ more I look for MSI B450-A Pro they have better V-section, can handle R7 2700X after full OC. But still, best run for a buck will be Pro4 in budget builds. I really wait for R3000 series because in leak they say it's will be 6c/12t 65TDP base CPU. Which one has the better vrm cooling, the b450 Tomohawk Max or the asrock b450 pro 4, since the heatsink on the asrock is designed to have a fin design the cooling would be better while Tomohawk one looks more congested. What do you think abt this?
I am preparing to buy exactly this one. I heard all B450 boards need a BIOS update to run R5 3600(and the MSI one got a lot of problems) is that still ture? Or these boards are all upgraded when sold?
just 1 question, there are 3 bars in the right bottom of the motherboard. I have big video card (gtx1080) will this be able to go over the sticks or will it not be possible?
I’m wondering whether I should get this or the b450 steel legend. The difference is 20 dollars and I’m thinking if whether I should spend that extra 20 dollars to put toward my gpu to get a rtx 2060 ko ultra instead of a regular ko. So what do I pick
Should I get this mobo rather than an MSI B450 Tomahawk? I’m just gonna be using a Ryzen 5 2600 and I’m not going to overclock. Relatively new to pc building so any help would be appreciated!
The B450 tomahawk is probably the better board in terms of VRM but maybe trade blows on features. Depending on the price difference where you are that would be a deciding factor. you say you are not looking to overclock so i would probably go with the ASRock and maybe save a few £££ $$$
Hey I was wondering if this board will run 4x8gb sticks of 3200 ram without any adjustments? Or if 3000 would be a better fit? 🤔 Thanks for any insight!!
Is there a wifi card you recommend for this board if i have a VERY small case? Like from Linus Tech Tips No Dollar Wasted build? My house doesn't have ethernet.
I've got one this babies, but it seems that the ram slot ejectors/lockers on my board can only be opened from the top of the board and the bottom locking mechanism is stuck/solid/one part with the slot. so here is the question, how do you take the ram out if you have installed your ram in the wrong slot?
The top part of the slot is the only part which actually is really are a release mechanism or installation mechanism the bottom unit is pretty much fixed and it’s just for holding the running place really although it does make a satisfying click in order to remove the RAM knew you always used to top slot or top retention arm to release the RAM

I'm not 100% certain this board is a 6+3 phase. The B450m pro4 uses a vrm controller that only allows for up to 4+4, which meant that in stead of 6+3, they had 2 of each vrm running parallel meaning it's 3+3. Unless the full atx board uses a different controller, I think it's exactly the same as the B450m.
yes you are right it is a 3 phase design with a doubler docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1d9_E3h8bLp-TXr-0zTJFqqVxdCR9daIVNyMatydkpFA/htmlview?sle=true#gid=639584818

I found MSI B450 mother boards are the only ones based on this chipset which support 3466mhz ram, even above Asus and Aorus specs (which are more expensive)...do we suppose it's because they really are on a higher level? Or is it mere marketing? I think X470 mother boards are unresonably too expensive, but it's a pity to can't upgrade ram sticks beyond 3200mhz on most B450 chipset. Assuming MSI mother boards specs are realiable and reflect their quality, it would be a profit. What do you think?

For me the features of the asrock are more suited like the RGB and ARGB headers and extra cooling on both the vrms but both boards are essentially the same give or take. I would got for the MSI if it was a lot cheaper than the asrock. And also it seems more likely the asrock will support the next gen ryzen chips

Clients with high balances are probably disciplined savers and investors, profitable business owners, and generally hard working people. Probably having above average intelligence and education. I am preparing to buy exactly this one. I heard all B450 boards need a BIOS update to run R5 3600(and the MSI one got a lot of problems) is that still ture? Or these boards are all upgraded when sold?
the 3600 is getting a bit old now so you should find that most stock will be updated with a bios to support the chip unless it is really old stock
How well would this pair with a Ryzen 5 3600 and a RTX 2060 Super? And is there big difference between this motherboard and the B450M?
good choices either way

Use the extra money on the gpu

from new stock yes easy
Should I get this mobo rather than an MSI B450 Tomahawk? I’m just gonna be using a Ryzen 5 2600 and I’m not going to overclock. Relatively new to pc building so any help would be appreciated!
The B450 tomahawk is probably the better board in terms of VRM but maybe trade blows on features. Depending on the price difference where you are that would be a deciding factor.
you say you are not looking to overclock so i would probably go with the ASRock and maybe save a few £££ $$$
Mike's unboxing, reviews and how to thank you a ton!
what is the difference between pro4 and pro4-f, i bought the Revision 2, maybe it come with an actualized BIOS for Ryzen 5000 generation?

that will depend on the RAM and the processor combination. Check the compatibility lists to see what is supported for you choices of hardware

Mike's unboxing, reviews and how to Will this boot up straight away? No need to update bios or flash the board etc?
Been trying to get this board to boot with the Ryzen 5 1600 (yd1600bbafbox) 12nm version, and I just can't get it to post. I have compatible memory, as I swapped a pair out for a different pair, and still had this issue.
Everything has been reseated multiple times, and plugged in outside the case. All I get are the idle fan speeds on the CPU wraith cooler, GPU and RGB lights on memory sticks. Does this sound like a DOA mobo? Or should I try a third PSU?

yes that is a good combo
Is the onboard audio good and how fast is the Gigabit LAN?
Both perform as they should gigabit lab with transfer about 100MBps to the nas

Yep. Dang right. I suspect this isn't a popular answer. This is a pocket book issue. A paycheck issue. My pocketbook and paycheck.
Besides that obvious answer, the subtle answer is one of respect. Clients with high balances are probably disciplined savers and investors, profitable business owners, and generally hard working people. Probably having above average intelligence and education. All of those are admirable.
These clients have frequent conversations with their banker about financial matters. And this builds a personal relationship. I like talking to my friendly acquaintances.
