Growing Love
Sometimes when you work with couples, despite your best efforts you can get discouraged at the progress (or lack thereof).
Jon Anderson feels that, "the more accepting (loving) we are of our mate, the better our marriage is and the more likely we are to have a vibrant relationship that lasts a lifetime."
Jon has worked with many couples with marital difficulties who were unable to turn the corner and head forward towards restoration. He feels that couples in crisis need focused, concentrated times where they are given instruction and structure to really address the issues that have become obstacles in their marriage.
As Jon says, "You can't change your spouse. Your efforts hurt them and frustrate you as you spend time, energy, and resources on things you can't purchase. The only person you can do anything about in a relationship is yourself. There is no "Us," there is no "We." I can't help a "marriage." I can only help each individual at being better at being a husband or a wife." We are all better by learning from each other and what works and doesn't work as we try to help couples.

About Jon Anderson:
Jon R. Anderson is a counselor, author and Founder and President of Growing Love Network. In 2011 he started leading a three-day marriage intensive course called Love Reboot and has spent several decades working with couples to move their marriages out of conflict. Since then, he’s helped thousands of couples turn the corner to restored relationships. His book, The Acceptance: What Brings and Keeps Lifelong Love, was revised and re-released in 2024. Jon earned his master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from Abilene Christian University in 1997, taught college psychology and student development courses for 18 years and served as Coordinator of Counseling Services at San Antonio College.
