Wtf is wrong with people? Why does everyone feel the need to try to make boogie feel bad for his size? Seriously its just immature and spiteful. What do you actually gain from insulting him. Jesus christ.
The sad truth is, he already knows that. And you dickheads constantly reminding him about it will just make him depressed and make him turn to food more and more. So really if anything, Everyone saying this shit are just making situations worse.
MrTurtleSoup If he has a wife, a roof over his head, a steady income, and friends, then it is really his own fault if he gets depressed and starts eating. There are literally hundreds of millions of people in the world that have much less than him. I love Boogie, but you don't have to act like he is frail and has nothing.
Will Akers He got big waaaay before he had any of that good stuff. He was depressed because of a very shitty childhood. He is working on his weight problem now and he is loosing the weight due to the fact hat his life pulled together. He has finally found a way to love his life and himself, so now he sees the actual point in preserving it. This is all very logical, and pretty much only an ignorant, shallow, self obsessed mega-ego would not be able to figure this stuff out. And judging from your comments, those words describe you pretty well.
Will Akers Keep in mind your comments have shown your ignorance quite clearly. I will judge you based on what you blatantly blurt out. Ironic also how you are clearly judging boogie only on extremely shallow things. I only judge you based on your comments, you know, stuff that matters.
i love watching your openings because you show your passion for what you're collecting. i don't play magic and i've never seen a garbage pale kid but i feel like i'm having a blast. i really like how every pack you share a story. i'm just as excited as you are to see what's in the next pack. this is so much better than watching someone burn through packs just because they're trying to find one high dollar card they're just going to end up selling. i hope you continue doing things like this.
god that takes me back. Back in 1985 my uncle took me to breakfast one morning, they didn't serve drinks you had to go next door to the gas station to buy soda. He gave me a $5 bill I went and instead of buying my drink bought 3 packs of garbage pail kid cards. Then I lied to my uncle about the already drinking the drink. He asked what I bought with his money and I showed him. He gave the cards to my mother and when I got home she threw away all of my garbage pail kids cards. Now I wanted those cards bad, so I woke up the next morning at 5am an hour before she did and got dressed. I went outside and found my cards then hid them in a shed on our property. I still have those cards today, unfortunately I lost most of my series 1 cards, I put them on my hot cycle and when I out grew the hot cycle it went in the trash. God this story takes me back.
I loooove Garbage Pail Kids too! I have a big binder full of them from the 80's! Boogie just gained even more respect from me personally for this! Do more vids of unboxing GPK if ya ever grab more man, loved the video. They make GPK posters as well, they even come in a large trading card-like package. Also yeah.... the movie is...amazingly awful. :)
Dang, I remember these. They came out when I was around 4. I did not know they still made these. Pretty darn cool. You make me want to start collecting them.
I used to collect these back in the 80s but think they've pretty much stopped in the UK. A few years back got a box set from the 80s off ebay. Always wanted a whole box to open. So popped them all open. Was great.
Aw the memories. I don't think anyone knows why they love Garbage Pale Kids, but everyone that lived through them love them (the same goes for Muscles, remember those? I loved those things). I was so excited for the movie when it came out, and then, I was so disappointed...
I love Garbage Pail Kids! Do you have the GBA book boogie? It talks about the history of GPK, and has big pictures of every sticker from series 1-5 I think. You also get a few bonus stickers in the back as well.
Boogie, it reminds me of when I got Wacky Stickers back in '67 as a 7 year old and was loving that! I also remember the monster stickers with the big emphasis on eyeballs hanging out and big mouths and slobbering which kids gotta into back then.
Man, I remember when these chromes arrived in my country with the name "Basuritas" (obviously with the names of the characters localized to fit the pun nature of them). I miss them. They disappeared so long ago.
Holy fudge!! Didn't realise these were still going!! Used to love garbage pale kids back in the 80s. Also had a complete set of Sloppy Slobs. The movie was awesome as well. Wonder if my parents still have my old sticker books.
Man, these cards are awesome. I used to collect the hell out trading cards back in the day. Lots of GPK, Monster in My Pocket, Creature Feature, the Nintendo game cards (which were kind of shitty if I remember correctly) and tons of movie cards. I had no idea they made a run of chrome cards for GPK. Great vid, Boogie!
Your unboxing videos are definitely some of my favorites to watch. Even though i know nothing about magic you make them super fun and interesting! Keep it up man.
I still have my cards from when i was a kid. None of my sets are complete. I need to complete them some day. Don't have any from series 1. But have quite a few from series 2 on up.
osskeet Got nothing to do with him being fat? Just that he has been through alot yet he seem's happy. It's great to see he doesn't get kept down by stuff. But hay maybe im just fat RIIIGHT? Yeah f u
John Kramer Because people get off to pissing people off. Just ignore them, really I wish Boogie would mute the comments and just have a Reddit thread, where shit's moderated and fuckwits don't have to be dealt with.
WTF? They still make Garbage Pail Kids cards? I used to love those as a kid in the mid-80s. I remember walking down to my local 7-Eleven store with my brother and buying a pack when we got our allowances every Friday. Man, these cards bring back such good memories. :)
I remember these, my favorite when I was a kid was drew spew. I bet if I looked through my old school stuff he might still be there. Does anyone else remember drew spew?
I have all of the base sets for OS01-15, ANS01-07, BNS01-02 and FBS01-03... didn't know about the Chrome sets... just bought Chrome sets 1 and 2 off of eBay :)
Hey boogie...I've never played magic or collected garbage pale kids but I watch your unboxing videos because it teaches me lore into a genre I've never been apart of and I like your reactions to rare cards...please keep doing these I really enjoy them
Hello, when I saw your Draw my life excites me a lot, I noticed you had it had a very hard life, even cry a little. I had seen before videos to people laughing at you and stuff, but I did not realize until today how you really were. Greetings and lots of support from Spain and you know you have a new subscriber.
So I've noticed that a lot of the characters have the same art but different names. Are you sure these are all from the same series? What other difference might they have?
There was also a Garbage Pail Kids movie that came out in what I believe was the late 80s or early 90s. I remember loving it as a kid, but it's considered one of the worst movies of all time.
So I had a lot of gpk cards when I was younger and recently bought 50 used ones at a store ('86). I really want to get into collecting them again but not the newer stuff. How many cards are there and what do I need to look for? Is there a place online that gives a price value? Thanks.
Their r 15 original series. From years 1985-1988. First series is rarest/ most expensive, 2nd series is second rarest and second most expensive. Sounds like u have from series 3-6. Anything over #82 is over series 2. Check out the websites gpkug and barren Aaron's gpk world
Kamren Hatfield Ouch! and Cool. I must have been spacing out on the adrenaline overdose of pure Boogie2988 EPICNESS when he showed the card. Thanks Kamren Hatfield :D
Everybody asking "wats the point of these cards?" The point is they r just something to collect like if u collect bottle caps or the smashed penny things u get a disney land any atractment (las vegas, knotts, some famous land marks, etc...).
Damn ... I had piles of those things as a kid. Had all the original series. Wish I had held onto them ... like so many things that would be worth money these days. Oh well.
These kinds of cards are so expensive now. I remember when you'd pay a quarter, fifty, seventy-five cents, maybe even a dollar later on for various kinds of trading cards. If you had some money in your pocket and the package looked neat, or you thought you could convince your mom to get'em near the checkout, then cool beans. But they're three, four dollars a pack now, for possibly less cards. What kind of kid just happens to have several dollars in their pocket that they can just toss at fairly useless trading cards, who not even very many other kids would have to trade with? This is the same kind of thing that killed the arcade industry, when they felt that somehow kids were going to poke entire dollar bills into these games to play for a few minutes when they can go home to an Xbox or Playstation.
There was also a card back then that had a spider kid, and her name was "Didi T" I didn't get it back then, but know realize it is some kind of pest control. DDT.
Blast from the past, I haven't seen this cards since the 80's I don't play magic, so your final comment is correct. Magic cards both confuse and annoy me.
That's fun going through your cards. I started collecting for a while in 1986. Was that the fifth series? One of my first was Jordan Nuts. I, too, enjoyed looking at the stats and backs of the cards. Thanks. Never liked the sticker idea so it's great they went with nice, shiny cards instead.
Boogie you're awesome man, I watch and have watched a shit load of your vids, I remember when you had around 100k subs man. I just recently had reconstructive knee surgery because I broke a chunk of bone off my shin, cracked my shin and dislocated my kneecap, all I'm saying is thanks for pushing out funny and entertaining vids for me to watch while I sit here in a full leg cast pounding down pain killers and pissing in a cup. Thanks again boogie, keep it up and congrats on almost 2 millions subscribers.
Boogie you are awesome you are one of my favorite you tubers I just wanted you to understand how much I and probably thousands of others appreciate every vid you make. Keep doing what you're doing. :)
My dad and I were going through some of my old hockey card collection and we found around 100 of these cards from the original sets.. they're all in great condition and I think it says 1986 on them perhaps? Or maybe 84 I can't remember . Anyone know if these are worth money?
Hey boogie! Ever thought about getting some sleeves/maps so you can store your cards safely without getting them damaged? Would really keep up the condition of the cards and keep its shine :)
We love when you unbox Boogie
i remember collecting these cards as a kid, used to come with a stick of gum, good times :)

TheBootamp Lol, I'm sure quickly judging people off of a comment will really work out well for you in the future.
Will Akers Keep in mind your comments have shown your ignorance quite clearly. I will judge you based on what you blatantly blurt out.
Ironic also how you are clearly judging boogie only on extremely shallow things. I only judge you based on your comments, you know, stuff that matters.
straight out of my childhood.
Holy shit, never thought I would've found you on a boogie video.
HazardWolfGaming I like boogie. but that francis guy. can't stand him.
...Matt?dafuq
Man...I wish technology never happened. This kind of stuff will never be popular again. Collecting cards was such a joy.
You don't understand that without technology these cards wouldn't even exist
Ehhh... I think they would. Printing presses use very old technology.
I'm really only talking about in the last 10 years
Technology is not only pc, smartphones...
OnVita
Technology is also a tootbrush, water bottle, or even a shovel.
i love watching your openings because you show your passion for what you're collecting. i don't play magic and i've never seen a garbage pale kid but i feel like i'm having a blast. i really like how every pack you share a story. i'm just as excited as you are to see what's in the next pack. this is so much better than watching someone burn through packs just because they're trying to find one high dollar card they're just going to end up selling. i hope you continue doing things like this.
I freaking loved these back in like 85, 86. Passed around the schoolyard like crazy. Thanks for the nostalgia man :)
I literally have every Garbage Pail Kid card ever made...
Im looking to buy some GPK cards i miss them so much 😭 ebay and Amazon prices are meh
I used to draw the Garbage pail kids, I was a bit of an artist growing up.
Loved the unboxing; far more than your magic unboxings - more please! :)
I used to collect the originals when I was a kid. My favorite I had was a cupid throwing up a rainbow. Thanks for the memories Boogie :)
Didn't the originals have a stick of gum in them? That damn rock hard gum!
god that takes me back. Back in 1985 my uncle took me to breakfast one morning, they didn't serve drinks you had to go next door to the gas station to buy soda. Man, those were the coolest things when I was in grade school. Remember collecting those..
Those cards were awesome to collect as a kid.
No they were not. The cool kids had baseball cards that actually had information that was relevant to reality.
Will akers you are a piece of shit
Whip it mx You are tearing me apart lisa!
Will Akers We collected those too. Sorry if you feel left out of the Garbage Pail Kids collection :)
Had no idea he collects the Garbage Pail Kids. We learn something new every day.
I was born in 82. My dad started collecting these for me when the second series came out. Ahhhh.......Memories. Good vid boog!
watching this makes me feel young and old at the same time lol...the sticker ones will always be better tho.
Yep
***** shit i want to be 12 again
I love unboxing videos! I find them oddly relaxing lol
Why is the only black kid going down a drain?
because that was the 80's
hahaha lol thats fucking hilarious i never realized that xD
LOL that name "cop" pointing out the only black kid card xDD
It is realistic...?
Aw the memories. I don't think anyone knows why they love Garbage Pale Kids, but everyone that lived through them love them (the same goes for Muscles, remember those? I loved those things). I was so excited for the movie when it came out, and then, I was so disappointed...

Honestly i wouldnt collect these but seeing Boogie get joy from unboxing them with us brings me alot of interest to it :)
Boogie, it reminds me of when I got Wacky Stickers back in '67 as a 7 year old and was loving that! I also remember the monster stickers with the big emphasis on eyeballs hanging out and big mouths and slobbering which kids gotta into back then.
I dont think this should be watchable - but I always just watch mesmerized!
Man, I remember when these chromes arrived in my country with the name "Basuritas" (obviously with the names of the characters localized to fit the pun nature of them). I miss them. They disappeared so long ago.
I wouldn't mind if you did more of these. This is entertaining in a laid back manor.
Remember the "Garbage Pail Kids Cheap Toys"in the 80's? They call them minikin now.
It was really good seeing these again. I used to collect them as a kid
Holy fudge!! Didn't realise these were still going!! Used to love garbage pale kids back in the 80s. Also had a complete set of Sloppy Slobs.
The movie was awesome as well.
Wonder if my parents still have my old sticker books.
Dude I had no idea you dug Garbage Pail Kids. Man that's awesome! I've been collecting em since I was a kid as well!
Boogie-what memories you brought back....I had a huge amount of these, lost to time....
Yeah! and they had ones for girls called Cabbage patch kids!
We never really saw these in the UK, but I used to collect Monsters in my Pocket and Mini Boglins. Nostalgia!
I love your layed back attitude and your collecting hobbies, keep unboxing cuz we all enjoy it.
I really love your voice! It's so nice to listen to, even though I don't know what Garbage Pail Kids are :) Keep going!
Boogie, as Francis you should unbox a Happy Meal!
These are neat they remind me of a mix of cabbage patch dolls and goosebumps books. I didn't think I'd like this unboxing but now I see the appeal
Your unboxing videos are definitely some of my favorites to watch. Even though i know nothing about magic you make them super fun and interesting! Keep it up man.
I love collecting yo-yo's, so if any of you out there have any let me know. :D
I like watching the magic openings because I get to see cards and what you think about them. I don't actually play magic but A.
I still have my cards from when i was a kid. None of my sets are complete. I need to complete them some day. Don't have any from series 1. But have quite a few from series 2 on up.
Im only 15. I remember collecting these with my dad as a kid. Loved them.
Please do more unboxings! These are the best type of videos!!!
Damn, bringing me back to my childhood. Almost 30 years ago these cards came out! Shit, I am getting old.
@ 7:21 I would hafta go pop open
my old green Collecter's Case to be 100%,
but for sure I had *LIVE MIKE* on my GPK coffee cup!
Is it weird boogie give's me such inspiration :( ?
If you are fat then no
osskeet Nice. Why does every one insult him? Why watch his vids if you dont like him? And no im not. Sorry if that disapoints you.
osskeet Got nothing to do with him being fat? Just that he has been through alot yet he seem's happy. It's great to see he doesn't get kept down by stuff. But hay maybe im just fat RIIIGHT? Yeah f u
John Kramer Because people get off to pissing people off. Just ignore them, really I wish Boogie would mute the comments and just have a Reddit thread, where shit's moderated and fuckwits don't have to be dealt with.
Not at all. What IS weird is people get inspiration from people like Kim Kardashian and the Jersey Shore cast.
I do!
Now I need a poo.
Why do the haters waste their time commenting? I've never seen these cards before, I'm a 90's baby, but these actually look pretty cool.
I have all of the base sets for OS01-15, ANS01-07, BNS01-02 and FBS01-03... didn't know about the Chrome sets... just bought Chrome sets 1 and 2 off of eBay :)
Man, I loved these as a kid. Still great. Thanks Boogie.
Hey boogie...I've never played magic or collected garbage pale kids but I watch your unboxing videos because it teaches me lore into a genre I've never been apart of and I like your reactions to rare cards...please keep doing these I really enjoy them
I was born in the late 90s and I appreciate cards like these, I would have loved to own a set of these.
did these cards use to have a big piece of gum in with them that made them smell nice or was something else?
Do you know where i can find a full box of first series?
Garbage Pail Kids. I have a whole bag of them up in my attic still from my childhood!!
Hello, when I saw your Draw my life excites me a lot, I noticed you had it had a very hard life, even cry a little. I had seen before videos to people laughing at you and stuff, but I did not realize until today how you really were. Greetings and lots of support from Spain and you know you have a new subscriber.
I remember a friend of mine was collecting a few of these back in the early 2000's and i had no idea what to think of them.
I love watching Unboxings. This makes me want to start collecting the Mars Attacks! cards.
So I've noticed that a lot of the characters have the same art but different names. Are you sure these are all from the same series? What other difference might they have?
I loved collecting these as a kid, my favourite series to collect.
Loved these as a kid. I'd be all over these chromed but don't think they sell them in the UK.
Can someone tell me why some of those cards have rehash pictures on them with different names? I just don't understand.
I actually really enjoyed this, you should do it again.
There was also a Garbage Pail Kids movie that came out in what I believe was the late 80s or early 90s. I remember loving it as a kid, but it's considered one of the worst movies of all time.
Next video, Boogie should show us his magic collection.
Do you know if they sell these outside the states?
So I had a lot of gpk cards when I was younger and recently bought 50 used ones at a store ('86). I really want to get into collecting them again but not the newer stuff. How many cards are there and what do I need to look for? Is there a place online that gives a price value? Thanks.

+peanut4745 Thanks, I really do appreciate it.
Thanks Boogie2988 for sharing your collection. My favorite was the one based of a Robotech mech. Probably had some name like Robbie so and so etc.
16:27?
Kamren Hatfield Ouch! and Cool. I must have been spacing out on the adrenaline overdose of pure Boogie2988 EPICNESS when he showed the card. Thanks Kamren Hatfield :D
Ohh the feels, Being on the chunky side. I was called "Slobbie Robbie" for a good while. Sniffles. Thanks for that Boogie.
I loved Cabbage Patch as a little girl. I like these more as an adult hahaha. I didn't know they existed until now! Thanks for sharing dude :)
I love gpk!! I collect the little plastic toys. Thanks for doing this, LOVED IT !
Everybody asking "wats the point of these cards?" The point is they r just something to collect like if u collect bottle caps or the smashed penny things u get a disney land any atractment (las vegas, knotts, some famous land marks, etc...).
Thank for the trip back to my childhood I use to collect those cards back in the day
Damn ... I had piles of those things as a kid. Had all the original series. Wish I had held onto them ... like so many things that would be worth money these days. Oh well.
What capture device are you using to make your camcorder a video capture device ?
I used to collect these when I was young, I seem to remember you could make larger images with the backs of the stickers.
This is the same kind of thing that killed the arcade industry, when they felt that somehow kids were going to poke entire dollar bills into these games to play for a few minutes when they can go home to an Xbox or Playstation.
This brought back so many awesome childhood memories. Thanks Boogie!
Oh man! I remember these, they used to come with sticks of gumb!
Never knew about these growing up so it was fun watching your video and learning about them! Keep it up brother.
There was also a card back then that had a spider kid, and her name was "Didi T" I didn't get it back then, but know realize it is some kind of pest control. DDT.
Blast from the past, I haven't seen this cards since the 80's
I don't play magic, so your final comment is correct.
Thanks again boogie, keep it up and congrats on almost 2 millions subscribers.
you're just missing a few Mad Balls and it would be a fully nostalgic trip from the 80s.
Great 20 minute nostalgia trip! Would definitely like to see more cards if you get them.
Boogie you are awesome you are one of my favorite you tubers I just wanted you to understand how much I and probably thousands of others appreciate every vid you make. Keep doing what you're doing. :)
Thank you for your unboxing, I really enjoyed watching it although I´ve never heard of Garbage Pail Kids before.
I liked that unboxing video, as someone who doesn't play magic and I remember some of those cards that was fun to watch. Great job Boogie
Do you think? They could have made the box bigger, it was like over half empty. One of these boxes could have held all the cards from the three boxes.
What a blast from the past! Only you boogie! Lots of smiles and memories while whatching this one. Thanks!
Wow. Garbage Pail Kids? I didn't even know they still had these. Wow.
Oh the childhood memories, thanks Boogie. Please complete the set.
My dad and I were going through some of my old hockey card collection and we found around 100 of these cards from the original sets.. they're all in great condition and I think it says 1986 on them perhaps? Or maybe 84 I can't remember
. Anyone know if these are worth money?
Hey boogie! Ever thought about getting some sleeves/maps so you can store your cards safely without getting them damaged? Would really keep up the condition of the cards and keep its shine :)
what desk do you use?
