That Blue Madeleine bottle is so stunning I have to admit it was partly the reason I bought it, haha! Thank God I love the scent as well! Tea was one of my gateway notes into fragrance. One of my very first perfumes was Bulgari Au Thé Vert, which I still consider the most beautiful green-tea scent in existence. Elizabeth Arden's version paled in comparison. My hidden gem currently is Jovoy's Remember Me, which smells like a milky chai tea, kind of like the lighthearted summer sister of Gris Charnel. So good I could bathe in it.

I’ve recently (almost) abandoned coffee for all the teas I brought home from Paris, I just can’t get enough of those smells! I’ve got to try Blue Madeleine. Lune Féline is a big love for me, so the smoky vanilla+tea+milk sounds really good.. I love this series, looking forward to more one-note reviews 🤗
@@ThePerfumeNest Finally got a sample of Blue Madeleine, wearing it today while having tea and a madeleine cookie 😋. I can clearly smell the inspiration, but maybe people were expecting a sweeter vanilla (those that are disappointed in the scent). I am transported to many many cozy winter sushi dinners with hot Genmaicha tea; to me, the opening smells exactly like Genmaicha. It's very lovely and I will try it in a couple of months when it's cooler here in Florida. It is still ice tea season here, not hot tea!

Hey gorgeous! I love Remember Me! Have you tried Starlight? It’s very similar to Remember Me (that’s the only reason I don’t own a bottle of Remember Me). ❤️❤️
Hey Chris, hope you are enjoying the long weekend. I adore the tea based One Umbrella For Two by Floraiku. And of course Still by Jennifer Lopez has been a staple in my collection since it came out. Wiling cha didn’t impress me and I don’t think I have tried any of the others showcased in this video. I really want to sample the atelier des or: Blue Madelaine. Your description in a couple videos always has me very interested in sampling it. Thanks for another informative video. Can’t wait for the next one.

Hello my friend!! ❤ I actually brought Elizabeth Arden White Tea away with me on my sisters trip, I wore it yesterday layered with Deadcool Milk. 😊 I don’t remember smelling it much throughout the day but we had a busy day of shopping 🛍️ so I was probably distracted lol Oh I love Velvet Santal so much! I always forget there’s a tea note in it, I’m going to wear it when I get back home 🥰 (Did I finally get a pool scene when you showed Still?) 😉🩵🫶🏼
my favorite is Bulgari's 'Au The Rouge.' It's got red tea, walnuts, fig, cream. It's so good! 'Still' is the only J. Lopez perfume I like. In fact I wore it yesterday and got complimented on it. Elizabeth Arden's 'White Tea' is divine! I definitely intend on adding that to my collection. The others you mentioned sound so nice! I absolutely love tea scents.
@@ThePerfumeNest I don’t have a very sophisticated nose and neither does my husband. BUT we LOVED Fig Infusion from an Essential Parfums sampler. I remembered you mentioned in your video that you’re buying a full bottle of it but I haven’t heard of it being mentioned in your video these past few months. Wondering your thoughts on it after having it for a while.
Hey there!! Ah! What a lovely thing to say!!!! Your comment literally made my week. 🙏🏻🥹 You have a great memory! I did buy it and I think the last time I showed it in a video was for my coconut video. I thought I would wear it more this Summer but I’m reaching for those fresh citrus or floral perfumes these past few months. Just love to wear them in the hot weather. I will be wearing Blue Heart more as the weather turns colder: it’s a very rich perfume. ❤️❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest I can’t wait to see when you feature Blue heart! 16:03 Was NOT expecting pancakes lol!! 😂 I’d love to try Atelier des Ors line..the bottles look so beautiful! I absolutely LOVE Arden White Tea Rose , it’s one I like to grab when my nose just needs a break lol! Jlo’s Still doesn’t work on skin for me, but it’s a beautiful home fragrance. I use it in my bedroom and it’s so cozy. Think my hidden gem is Elie Tahari; a very bitter, yet bright tea scent that is sooo inexpensive! I do tend to round it out by layering with Donna Karan Cashmere Mist..which is another secret weapon on its own. It adds some softness and longevity to just about any fragrance I’ve tried it with. As always, GREAT video Chris! You have a wonderful way of describing accords in so many different fragrances and not many reviewers do that, so thanks! Because oftentimes notes alone don’t give the full impression, which imo is important.
Love tea fragrances!! At one time you reviewed Thé Yulong by Armani Prive - do you still wear that one? It’s my quintessential tea perfume 🩵 I also love Casa Blanca by House of Bo with its white tea note 🫖
Hi there! Yes I have sampled it and it is very pretty. I’ve never shown it in other videos because I don’t own it. Not because I do t like it, but I feel it’s too similar to Starlight. ❤️❤️

Hey there! Yes I’d be interested in your take on Blue Madeleine because it’s so polarizing. ❤️
White Tea is the only perfume my mom wears! It’s so pretty!
Aw!! Bvlgari White Tea or Elizabeth Arden?
@@ThePerfumeNest Elizabeth Arden! She’s does not deviate from it lol she only ventured out to have a sand and fog perfume oil that smells like my Mojave ghost 😂
Always enjoy watching your videos Chris!💖
Aw!!! Thank you!!!!🙏🏻
I would like a video on green notes please
Ok! Any in particular?
Yes!! I love Manhattan… have you heard they are releasing a flanker .. I think I NEED that one too 😂
And how cute is that top! Love the ruching
Thank you! And yes ok this was the video!! 🤣oh I did not hear about that really? A flanker to Manhattan??
My favourite tea fragrances are Gris Charnel from BDK and 2 from Floraiku. Levitating has Mate, and I am coming home has green tea.
Hey there! I love Gris Charnel! You will see it in my fig / sandalwood video.
I’m trying to catch up before I head back to Johannesburg 🤩🤩. I absolutely love these single note videos even though I only have very few in this category🫖🫖. Mine would be Gris Charnel, Still and a decant of Blue Madeleine🫖🫖. I also tried Remember Me, it’s such a beautiful fragrance but no full bottle yet🫖🫖. Stay gorgeous🥰🥰
Hey gorgeous! I love Remember Me! Have you tried Starlight? It’s very similar to Remember Me (that’s the only reason I don’t own a bottle of Remember Me). ❤️❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest
I haven’t tried Starlight, something to think about🤔🙏
Hey Chris, hope you are enjoying the long weekend.
Hey there! Yes I loved OUFT and had a big travel spray, but found it really really similar to Deep In Desire Yacht by EBK. Thanks so much for stopping by!!!❤️❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest hmm interesting. I never asociated those two, but now that you mention it... yeah kind of. I have a small decant of deep n desire Yacht but the latter, although very sweet and cute, doesn't do it for me. nice but not special. I love One Umbrella For Two tough...
Love the video! Some unique choices 👌🏽 tea, sandalwood and cardamom are my favourite notes in perfumes so I generally tend to have a lot of those!
My favourite tea fragrance:
- Gris Charnel BDK
- Dear Polly VHP
- Thé Noir Le Labo
- Thé Yulong Armani Prive
- Eau de Memo by Memo
Thank you!!! I love Gris Charnel also! You will see it for me fig and sandalwood perfume video. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I like your single note videos, Chris. I think the only two fragrances I own with a tea note are JLo Still and Liam by Lattafa. Enjoy your weekend! ~Cynthia
Aw thx you also!!
If you haven't tried Liis Ethereal Wave, you must! it's a beautiful and fresh white tea/black tea scent. It could easily be my every day scent.
Oh my gosh yes. I got the Discovery Set. It’s gorgeous I agree.
This was an interesting video sparked my curiosity about some of the fragrances you mentioned. I was back and forth on Blue Madeline but now I'm thinking about it again lol. Great video love your down to earth demeanor 💚
Aw thank you so much for the lovely comment. 🙏🏻❤️So you have sampled Blue Madeleine before?
@@ThePerfumeNest no I haven't been able to sample it. I may try to see if I can get a sample but I'm not in any rush.
@@MonahScents yes . Shockingly it is very polarizing ! I’ve seen a few ppl NOT like it. 🤣😬
Love tea scents! 🧡🧡🧡
Yay! Any favs?
@@ThePerfumeNest Kilian Princess and The Matcha 26 are my current favs, but I’m looking to add more to my collection, so this vid was really helpful! I have decants of Oolong Tea by One Day and Roasted Green Tea by J-Scent, and I am really liking them both!
Love Blue Madeleine, try Monday by Arielle Shoshanna - gorgeous!!
I hear! It’s on my “to test” list. Thank you!!🙏🏻
@@ThePerfumeNest 😊
Arielle Shoshanna Monday!!!!!
Oh! I used to have Sunday which had a lot of tea in it but I didn’t realize Monday had tea also! Thx!!!!❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest I think you will love Monday - it’s a London fog latte smell 🫶
Hello my friend!! ❤ I actually brought Elizabeth Arden White Tea away with me on my sisters trip, I wore it yesterday layered with Deadcool Milk. 😊 I don’t remember smelling it much throughout the day but we had a busy day of shopping 🛍️ so I was probably distracted lol
Oh I love Velvet Santal so much! I always forget there’s a tea note in it, I’m going to wear it when I get back home 🥰
(Did I finally get a pool scene when you showed Still?) 😉🩵🫶🏼
lol yes!!! I snuck the pool in there finally!🤣
my favorite is Bulgari's 'Au The Rouge.' It's got red tea, walnuts, fig, cream.
I love Au The Rouge! Had a bottle. I wish they hadn’t discontinued it.
@@ThePerfumeNest same.
I loooovvve tea notes.
Yay! Any favs??
@@ThePerfumeNest I don’t have a very sophisticated nose and neither does my husband. BUT we LOVED Fig Infusion from an Essential Parfums sampler. It sat on his skin better than mine and I enjoy whiffs of it in the morning after he’s left for work. He even had a coworker that told him, “YOU smell GOOD!”
love the single note videos. I'm still wearing Tea for Two which I bought in 2015. I think it's discontinued.
Aw! Yes it was
Indigo by Nest comes to mind.
Ok! Thank you. ❤️
How did I not see this sooner!?!? I would have stopped what I was doing in London just to watch this!! Tea is my favorite fragrance category!!!! I adore tea in every single way! Get out of here coffee give me tea!!!
I know you love your tea!!! 🫖 ❤️❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest 🫖☕️💕
Chris, I sampled Champaca based on your recommendation and I fell in love it. It is in my collection now 😅 Can’t wait for black currant video 💛 although my wallet says: no thank you 😂
Yay! Oh that is great thx for the feedback. My friends like it when I wear it (Champaca). I smell “so pretty” to them. ❤️❤️
lol! What is your favorite black currant scent??
@@ThePerfumeNest it is very pretty
@@ThePerfumeNest I love Musk Therapy, Soie Malaquais... Few years ago, before getting into niche perfumery, I used to wear Si Passione quite often
Hey Chris, you are one of my favorite people in UA-cam to watch! I am wondering about Blue heart by Thameen perfume.
Also the last time I mentioned about wanting the Myrrh note, hopefully you have enough perfume to have it mentioned in it’s own video. You asked about the note frankincense, I am not sure i know what frankincense smells like but I would love to learn about it so yes please, please do feature frankincense forward note too. Thank you Chris! You da bomb ❤
I’m also wondering if Blue Heart is summer appropriate
Chamomile satin DVN isn't on your wish list? I just tried a decant and it is actually pretty great. 😍
I ended up buying it. I forgot to mention that yes. It’s arriving tomorrow. Was sold out for a while. ❤️❤️
Depends on the note at hand wether I’m interested in a video or not !
Hey dear Chris ! 🤗 Nice video 😊I love Tea Scents as I am a Tea Drinker 🥰 I need to try Blue Madeleine … I don’t know if it’s similar to Remember Me which I have . Big hug from Portugal 🇵🇹 ❤️
Hello dear!!!!!!
@@ThePerfumeNest 🤗💖
16:03 Was NOT expecting pancakes lol!! 😂
I’d love to try Atelier des Ors line..the bottles look so beautiful!
I know! I had to do a double take on the pancakes!!🤣oh my gosh you have done great layering combos!!!!
And thank you SO much for the lovely and very kind feedback. 🙏🏻🥹❤️
@@ThePerfumeNest ha!! And TY! I love to layer if you can’t tell 😆!
And you’re welcome! ☺️🩵
I lately love Wulong Cha, but always liked Green Tea by Elizabeth Arden.
That one is a fabulous one also. ❤️
Love tea fragrances!! At one time you reviewed Thé Yulong by Armani Prive - do you still wear that one? It’s my quintessential tea perfume 🩵 I also love Casa Blanca by House of Bo with its white tea note 🫖
Hi!! I can’t believe I’ve never tried Thé Yulong (I’ve wanted to try it for years)! I have a travel of Casa Blanca and it is so pretty. Agree. 💯
Wulong Cha X is gorgeous! Have you tried Shunkoin? x
Yes! Does it have a tea note? I didn’t realize that! 😮
Hi. What about Jovoy Remember Me? I was really interested when you mentioned it in your other videos but it wasn’t in this one.
Hi there! Yes I have sampled it and it is very pretty. I’ve never shown it in other videos because I don’t own it. Not because I do t like it, but I feel it’s too similar to Starlight. ❤️❤️
Does Wulong Cha reminds you of a Hermes perfume? I don’t remember which one ( name) but identical!
I love tea scents and tea in general 🍵 ☕️ 🫖 😅, somehow have only one - “Remember me” that it’s very good, but I need more 😅
Really? I have several Hermes. Nothing comes to mind???? Did you figure it out? And I love Remember Me. It’s gorgeous. But too close to Starlight (which I already own)
@@ThePerfumeNest I want to go to the store and check the name of that perfume. 😅 I think it was or the Mediterranean one or the La lagoon something one. I liked them also.
Thanks for the video! Have you tried THÉ MATCHA 26 by Le Labo? Curious about your thoughts if so.
Yes! Many years ago. My tastes have changed since then so I should try again for sure!
Dear Chris, I love your chanel and taste. But I am so jealous of you, that you have sooo many fragnances😊. Kind regards
Aw. Thank you so much for enjoying my channel!!!!🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️
I’d love a good recommendation for a milky sweet black tea 🙏🏻 plz 🥹
Several ppl are saying Monday. You mean like a London Fog tea? Blue Madeleine is a milky black tea…but it has other things going on.
I just noticed...we didn't have perfumes by the pool🤔
Yep. 😉Maybe I can squeak out one before Summer ends. Not everyone is a fan. I kind of got tired of the complaints (ppl didn’t like birds chirping, sounds of nature or me wearing sunglasses). 😆
@@ThePerfumeNest luvd the poolside chats. People just like to complain🙄
Ok I’ll pipe in lol.. I LOVE the sounds! People just LOVE to complain.. like sunglasses outside? Weird in a parallel universe perhaps😂!
Chris I loved the poolside videos lol. Screw em😂
@@sk_abstract_art omg! 🤣🤣🤣Thank you! 🙏🏻❤️❤️
Great recommendations, usually the tea videos keep mentioning Gris charnel that I don’t like at all (tonka 🥲), but you’ve mentioned some of my favourites like Ormonde Jayne and Les Bains Gourbois , Blue Madeleine , now I just have to check your other recommendations 🫣😁
Hey there! Yes I know lots of ppl expected to see Gris Charnel here: but to me it’s much more of a fig or sandalwood dominant scent. ❤️
