Wife has a 06 s197 in tungsten Grey ..bought it for her 11 years ago with 16k miles..just hit 80k miles..guys at the shop are always surprised with the milage lol..10 miles comuting to and from work but for many years works from home so little drive time..05-09 s197 are rare to see hear in my city s550s and late model s197 are spotted often..so we decided to keep it, also love the 04 Mach 1 and cobra one of my other favorite generations but also rare gem to see hear..
I have a 2006 Mustang GT and a 2015 Fusion 2.0 AWD and Steeda has done a FANTASTIC job with their performance parts both power wise and handling. My '06 is making 368 crank Horsepower, I have the Lowering Springs, Charge Motion Delete Plates, off road h pipe, axle back, cold air intake and Tune, panhard bar, rear shock Brace and Strut Tower Brace. And the car is a completely different vehicle. Basically same mods on my Fusion, Intake manifold Spacer, cold air intake, Intercooler, Lowering spring, rear Sway Bar, Strut Tower Brace, tune and that's making 314 Horsepower. I only trust Steeda. Great job guys keep up the great work!
Thanks for this excellent video. I watched it multiple times before I ordered all my parts for this job from Steeda and purchasing the extra tools needed, and then again while doing the actual installation. Everything went great! Keep up the good work Steeda. You definitely have my business.👍
Be careful about putting your hand on the flag nut as you loosen the bolt with air impact as it will rotate to stop and if a finger is in the way you will not like the result .
Just recently had Steeda sport springs, shocks and struts and Steeda panhard bar with the Ford performance bump stops installed in my 2006 Mustang GT. I didn’t get a full inch drop in front closer to 3/4 inch maybe because I went with the GT500 strut mounts.
Dam mine just hit 100k wonder that the 260k one on the video ever had timing an phaser issues a roller follower failed on mine so I had to put new cams on mine
Question on reusing factory fasteners. While not specifically addressed in the video (unless I missed it) it would appear that all bolts and nuts were reused. Ford manuals say these are TTY one time use. Just curious on thoughts here and whether it’s ok to reuse the fasteners?

Wouldn’t mind one of your watts link setups if you still made them.
You should make a video like this for the 94-04 Mustangs
Why not the ultra lite springs ?
what should i replace at 60k suspension wise?
Great video!

What about the extended stud ball joints and bumpsteer kit? And getting adjustable rear control arms for pinion angle adjustability
This is my car we worked on and we did those as well in this video, ua-cam.com/video/5vDGJPQOCN4/v-deo.html
What can an S197 owner do, to improve the car from bumps, when the S197 didn't have an IRS rear end?
Steeda watts link, have it on my car. Replaces panhard bar. I have every Steeda suspension upgrade on my 12 GT.
I did the whiteline watts link.Panhard moves in an arc motion watts stays on center always
