I spent an hour learning the math of projectile motion and several hours raking my brain how to do the required math in command blacks (e.i solving quadratics). Finally the real road block I hit was how to put the numbers a got from my commands into a tp command. Then, nearly half a year later a find this video and discover that it was actually super easy and needed only ONE command block and all I had to do was just continually decrease the boats facing direction.
For a lava bending effect you could do something similar to the deep slate one but using a magma slime spawner to trigger the effect and setting the command to put lava instead and then replacing it with magma blocks (after 1 - 2 seconds) to make it looks as if the lava is solidifying. Hope you could understand my idea...

To anyone struggling with the rock shield not disappearing or you're stuck because it just says "failed to execute fill as (your name)" , once all of the "setblocks" are working the replace with air command should work.

The trick with the armor stands for the rockthrow is genius tbh. I know you said you got it from somewhere else but it's just a really cool trick i will definitely be using!
I did everything right for the shield, but it wont summon the shield. The air block is working cos deepslate disappears when i place it, but the shield wont summon
This is awesome my favourite thing to code is avatar abilities and earth bending is hardest followed by water, I am 1000% doing an avatar survival with my sister now and I’m earth 😂
I need help with some troubleshooting. For the first move the first command block says “Failed to execute “fill” as JDP900”. I’ve tried to find a few tutorials but they are all outdated, and I am confused because I did everything you did (I’ve checked quite a few times). I also have the same problem with the third move, second repeating command block (the clean up one). Please help.
Just try re building the same thing I don't know why but it doesn't happen sometimes and also see if you put the same command Happened to me a lot it just don't work sometimes just break and re-place the command blocks or just build it somewhere else and it works all of a sudden
I just figured this out myself, I was standing in a super flat world and the command was trying to fill blocks outside of the world with the second ~-10, I just changed that to a ~-5 and it will work

I have been trying to fix the boulder and have spent so long looking through the code and all it does is spawn a big cobble stone block that isn’t moving
I had the Boulder one working but it stopped working out of nowhere and now all my command blocks say “no targets matched selector” I have the tag, all my commands are spot on, i don’t know what to do.

Can someone help me? I had a problem with the Boulder toss. Everything was going well except it wasn't dealing any damage. When I checked the "explode" command block, it said "execute subcommand unless block failed".

The trick with the armor stands for the rockthrow is genius tbh. I know you said you got it from somewhere else but it's just a really cool trick i will definitely be using!
I did everything right for the shield, but it wont summon the shield. The air block is working cos deepslate disappears when i place it, but the shield wont summon

I need help with some troubleshooting.
For the first move the first command block says “Failed to execute “fill” as JDP900”. I’ve tried to find a few tutorials but they are all outdated, and I am confused because I did everything you did (I’ve checked quite a few times).
I also have the same problem with the third move, second repeating command block (the clean up one).
Please help.
Just try re building the same thing I don't know why but it doesn't happen sometimes and also see if you put the same command
Happened to me a lot it just don't work sometimes just break and re-place the command blocks or just build it somewhere else and it works all of a sudden
I just figured this out myself, I was standing in a super flat world and the command was trying to fill blocks outside of the world with the second ~-10, I just changed that to a ~-5 and it will work

@Guppyduck I'll fixed the first skill but the 3rd and 4th which is the dripstone and the suspicious gravel I can't fix it it's always stay when you cast it already it will not disappear

You should have done also lava bending and metal bending but I guess the gravel ability is kinda like sand bending
It would be really cool if you made firebending (maybe an attack that launches a fireball or summons lava beneath an entity when you sneak)

nvm figured it out, the part "unless block ~~~ air" stops it from working as the mobs are always in an air block

I would say during the throwing you could just do a scoreboard CD because tags aren’t always the greatest..
I do that with my creations but combined with tags
@@eli-gaming8979 I never use tags for abilities, the only time I use tags is for teams. An example is my Flee the facility world has a survivor side & a beast side. I use tags for them.

I would use a tag and anybody with that tag would get +1 score to the cooldown score
And when it hits a certain point it would remove that tag and reset the score

Can someone help me? I had a problem with the Boulder toss. Everything was going well except it wasn't dealing any damage. When I checked the "explode" command block, it said "execute subcommand unless block failed".
How did you get it to toss? I double checked and I have the exact commands he shows but my boulder just spawns and doesn't move.
Can you help when I sneak the Boulder spawns more than once and then my camera shakes while character gets stuck in the same spot for a second
