Pretty sure it's the reason Gojo killed the higher ups. They didn't even bothered to help or had a plan during Shibuya incident. Because they didn't made any move lot of people died. Gojo and his mentors and students only went to save people. This is why Gojo killed them all. The problem is the higher ups not main crew. If they helped main crew would have avoided many bad outcomes. And against Sukuna they know most of them all are weaker.
Gojo's reason for not fighting 15 finger Sukuna was simply his ego, he wanted to fight sukuna at his full power because of his massive ego, which caused his downfall

I think the reasons why Zenin clan wasn't there are: 1. Gege didn't created them, just like he didn't create any of Gojo clan members, except Satoru Gojo. 2. They probably didn't wanted to have a deal with Gojo, because they hate them. About Yuki and Yuta - i'm sure Yuta'd died against Kenjaku, + the reason why Yuki didn't used her domain is because of Tengen's plan, so Yuta probably didn't used his domain there as well, + Kenjaku himself said, that Yuki was able to win, IF she'd used the domain expansion, instead of hoping for Tengen destroying Kenjaku's domain.

I honestly still cant see why mechamaru didnt just camp out for a while. I dont think mahito and kenjaku knew where he was anyway, and i doubt that they would go out of their way to dig up the ground to waste enough time for mecha to call for help
imo, jujutsu society is so stuck up on itself because there were little to no threats to it ever since Gojo. Because Gojo was ever so reliable, they just let Gojo deal with everything and they let themselves get complacent and arrogant. Heck, I think Mechamaru was probably planning on only letting Gojo know about the plan, since he only put the earpieces at Shibuya instead of JJ High. And we all know that the only person that has a high chance of being deployed in there was Gojo. In a high risk situation, they'd only try the plan with the lowest number of persons involved. But Gojo never encountered any of the earpieces planted. Jujutsu society is fucked from the very start. Gojo's existence makes them want to self preserve and only do the bare minimum.
Kenjaku was described to have an almost prophetic vision of where things will land, he found Sukuna's twin soul and was just there in the right time to steal Geto's body. anyway Kenjaku banking on their incompetent IS smart and intentional story wise. and in the narrative the reason why the Zenin clan did not come to their aid in Shibuya is because they hate Gojo and want him to mess up BAD and blame him for everything while they sit on their asses safely.
It took Maki, Megumi, Noritoshi, Panda and Toge just to hold off Hanami and then Todo and Yuji as and they were unsuccessful. If They were 2 disaster curses, it wouldn't go well for jujutsu high even if Mechamaru warned them. And they were 3 of them in the train station. Literally the entire cast wouldve died fighting them if they went instead of Gojo. Well probably if they had Yuta but then if you add Dagon, Kenjaku himself and Uraume, probably wont end well for jujutsu high. And going into battle with Gojo is almost suicide cos if they are caught in infinite void, its over. Its not lack of planning, its lack of power.

About the point that everyone should've jumped Sukuna. We see in their battle with Gojo, that the aftermath is CATASTROPHIC. When gojo fights in general, everyone else around is a liability because of how devastating his abilities are, add Sukuna to that, and most of the cast would've just died in the first exchange of blows. It's also dangerous to jump Sukuna due to his aoe slashes, which most of the cast are incapable of dodging. Also, something that is noticeable in the manga, sorcerers are not team players. They are all trained for one-on-one encounters, so them trying to attack sukuna all at once, they probably would've just got in each others' way.
Sukuna could have used them to combo and do good in his fight long enough for Fuga to be charged and then everyone not named Gojo probably would've just died there

To me, the worst part in JJK lack of planning, is the fact that they don't convey information to one another or to the higher-ups, outside of episodes. As if they didn't have intel on Hanami, Mahito, Jogo and all the terrorist sorcerers. They know from very early that the enemy intends to use Sukuna, and Gojo even knows that Sukuna could at any given time make a pact with Yugi. Not to mention the fact that the curses they are facing, have been dealt with before. So they should expect them to appear some time after they get exorcised as well as measure their power leveling speed based on how long they have been around. Otherwise, how do they even dare call it jujutsu "tech". Where is the tech to be found?? And to put the cherry on top, on season 1, they stole fingers from the base... Anyone could put 1 and 1 together and have the answer to their plan 🙄 Thanks for the video. It is a struggle to find critical reviews on this show.
I think you missed the point. If you have the ultimate card “ Gojo” don’t do anything, helping Gojo in anyway will only cause problems, no one thought not even Gojo that he can be sealed in this way.

Though I would disagree with your point 1 and 6, your other arguments are solid. for point 1, given Mechamaru and his prep times, I can see how he could use a decoy to escape. He literally chased Mahito throughout a big ass perimeter. for point 6, I would say that Gojo is pretty much assured to win against all 3 at once but for plot convenience, he needed to do something beforehand and catch up for infos with the protagonists. I would revisit point 4 by saying that it's Yuta when he pre-training with the guys so his Domain expansion is not as strong as currently.

Yeah I always thought the sorcerers were kinda stupid. So, Gojo was having trouble fighting the disaster curses because civilians were around. Yet he easily walked towards Hanami and killed her. Why didn't he do that for Choso and Mahito too? And for Jogo, since he's using domain amplification, why not grab him, drag him away from the civilians, and then kill him with a powerful technique? Why didn't he kill the main bad guys first when he did his 0.2 second domain? I understand why he held back: he didn't wanna kill the civilians, and he was kind of having fun. But there is no way he was just fighting them for like 20 minutes. Bro should have killed all of them sooner than that. The villains plan literally hinged on Gojo being stupid. Also what Mahito did almost ruined the whole freaking plan. He deployed his monsters to start killing humans, because they wanted to get Gojo tired after using his domain. This would also give him cursed technique burnout. Good plan yes... Except, what was the plan if Gojo kills everyone with his domain? I guess, yeah, Kenjaku can still seal him, but now Mahito, Choso, and Jogo are all dead. Now the Culling Games can't start, because Mahito's dead. And didn't Kenjaku tell Jogo earlier to not use his domain because Gojo would just do the same and kill them? What were the villains thinking?

Hanami had their back placed towards the wall, meanwhile Jogo didn’t and had time to run. Later when Gojo is stuck in a crowd, Jogo gets his arm grabbed and just tears it off in order to get away. Basically Jogo would rip whatever part of himself off in order to get away. Also all of Gojo’s more powerful techniques could’ve collapsed major parts of the station. 2. The narrator states that Gojo fears that they might awaken from the 0.2 domain too fast and continue using hit and run tactics in order to prevent him from killing more transfigured humans. 3. The plan was that Gojo, wouldn’t use his domain and that he’d stand still long enough for Kenjaku to appear and use the prison realm. Gojo wouldn’t have done it due to the fact they added more humans into the area, thanks to Mahito collapsing the ceiling. All of it was to put more pressure on Gojo.

It’s crazy that the Japanese government didn’t get involved, like they were fully aware of curse spirits and jujutsu tech but were like “Well they are the experts here…” Yeah and sometimes the ‘experts’ are novices so it would have it killed the government to sent into military officials to reorganize jujutsu tech into a military force That would have solved a lot of problems because A: a age requirement to join at a older age means that any curse users joining would have already be in or near their prime to trained physical, mentally and emotionally which could have helped people like yuta and yuji who were sensitive and could have had a mental breakdown during their teenage years B: trained them to use $ucking weapons, like you mean to tell that you can make curse imbued weapons, why not make bullets with curse energy which saves sorcerers from spending time, effort and curse energy on a dumb curse technique fight, also since the government in paying for everything why not buy sentry turrets actually no, have mechamaru make tech and weapons for jujutsu tech. And have everyone wear armor like soldiers since this is supposed to be a military force and have said armor be imbued with curse energy to add further protection C: for the love of god, stay in teams. Have you seen how these guys do things, stay a decent feet away from the rest of each others for a enemy to pick them off, that’s how they do teams and have a leader since it’s just who’s telling everyone else what to do and that can lead to many problems, also have more healers since it’s just shoko doing literally all the work
How are they supposed to keep curses a secret when the military gets involved? "any curse users joining would have already be in or near their prime". There is an insanely small circle of people who can even become a sorcerer, let alone go against strong curses. By introducing an age restriction you would limit the list of candidates even further. Also if a senior dies, who do you replace him with? You would have to send the kids in anyways. Also, age doesn't really matter. If your cursed technique is weak you can go and train for 35 years but a 5 year old Gojo would still beat you. I doubt cursed imbued bullets will stop a meteor, lava or the guy who can transform you into a baseball bat. Have not realized that 90% of the cursed weapons used are useless? Also, they will start focusing on weapons, depending on them and there will be a lack of cursed energy control. "on a dumb curse technique fight" Yeah buddy care to explain to us how you will shoot a guy who can teleport? Or if a bad guy summons like 5 monsters. What are your weapons gonna do? Most curse techniques are way better than weapons. But hey you have an armor on, that will save you from the meteor dropping on your face. An armor won't protect you from most techniques. I agree with everything else but an age restriction, armor, and weapons won't do anything against dangerous curses.
I dont think Mechamaru could have made a different binding vow. Thats how bindint vows work, you need to give up something of value to gain an effect of relative value. He was speaking from beyond the grave. That in itself is a very expensive request and he was speaking to multiple people. The person in charge of them i assume wouldnt be like. "Hey, ill let you have this effect when gojo dies. Oh? Thats inconvenient? Oh I'm sorry, ill just change it to a time that works for you". That defeats the whole purpose

1:25 depends on the conditions of the deal made with kenjaku, gege prob. didn't make it 100% clear so that the audience couldn't think of loopholes for it 4:13 "not enough people there" yes this is true if you asume they knew gojo will get traped, but they don't, again gege prob. didn't have it planed out at all, but one can argue they asumed it was just another distraction for gojo like the last 2 major events were (geto, ...) maybe zenin clan was on guarding Tengen 6:22 sadly keny has the "strong plot armor" tech. only gege can beat that power 11:58 yeah todo is smarter than 50% of the cast
only thing I'd say say against the all in one jumping was the real threat of a domain expansion wiping them all out in a single go. I imagine there was a significant amount of planning that was immediately tossed out when the fight began as well, like 2 months of planning down the drain when you realize the mfers can spam DE like they're pennies and dimes. Also alot of people just not willing to risk their lives, IMO they should have actually should have let Yuta copy Ui Ui's spatial transfer so as soon as kenjaku was finished he could TP to assist Yuji and Higaruma. At the same time, this would leave the CSM rampage, but tbh thousands of CS would be much easier to clean up later, especially if you made another team of anyone willing to do pest work/not willing to fight sukuna.
The characters should be using a binding vows more to get stronger they're incredibly useful but are so rarely used. I consider this poor planning as well.
good idea...what if Yuji made a binding vow to completely give up offensive blood manipulation skills so he can have an automatic blood flow to survive more, and enforce himself even better with flowing blood scales

He could sacrifice his left pinky or literally anything. Why would some talking medallions have some great cost? Also how does he sacrifice anything by Gojo being sealed? he didn't sacrifice anything. He could've simply set the condition to his own death and killed himself before the killing blow from Mahito. Or again he could run away, but instead he sacrificed himself to fight Mahito for the medallions to work. It's all about perspective with these plothole vows.

i love binding vow its a classic lategame mechanic addition that happens when you need an excuse to get something to work that normally wont, and after introducing it immediately makes everything that happened before it's introduction questionable because they chose not to make use of it
The whole reason why Mechamaru resorted to trying to take out Mahito is because Kenjaku had sealed them in a barrier, preventing him from escaping, his only hope for escape was to try and take them out then and there
I'm glad someone finally mentioned how horrible of planners they are. For real they had a guy who can take away someone's CT for lord knows how long and then can one shot the guy. Yet they did so preparations to see if anything can interrupt his DE like I don't know A CURSED TOOL! And even afterwards the plan was, "alright after that, you just go and try to hit him!" Like my guy, at least send someone like Inumaki or something to stall him for a second so he has a chance!
What you said about Mechamaru's binding vow makes sense, we know that from Meimei's CT the most powerful binding vows are vows that come at the cost of the subject's life, as in the case with her crows. So a powerful binding vow where Mechamaru's communication devices would immediately manifest as a result of his death is completely plausible/feasible . I believe this to be the case, especially with the way we see Sukuna cast so many binding effective binding vows for his DE, and the world cutting slash, in the latest chapters with no life threatening drawbacks, with no issue.
This is never explained in the story, but I think it's reasonable to assume that Mechamaru couldn't make a self-imposed binding vow like that without risking its creation causing a his binding vow with Mahito/Kenjaku to break. Their binding vow was probably something to the effect of "you work as our mole, give us info on Jujutsu Tech and Gojo Satoru, and promise not to leak our plans to seal him on October 31st. In exchange, we promise to do you and your classmates no harm, and to heal you once your side of the bargain is fulfilled." If the vow was something like this, then Mechamaru making a binding vow that would inform everyone of the enemies plan in the case of his own death would have broken the promise (since he knew theyd kill him before shibuya), unless he made the vow AFTER the deal was finished. Unfortunately for Mechamaru, he had to fight the second the deal was complete, so he couldn't make the vow. Having Gojos sealing be the activation condition doesn't break the binding vow imo, since it would only activate IF the villains plan succeeded, so he definitionally wouldn't be leaking information to the good guys that would prevent Gojos sealing. I'm going to play devil's advocate here and bring up the fact the one's basically in charge of the Jujitsu world HATE Gojo...like a lot. I have no issue imagining them basically saying "This is definitely a trap that might kill or remove Gojo...let's send him in."
The only thing I can say for Gojo not bitching 15F Sukuna is him not knowing how to deal with him and Megumi. Sukuna seemed stronger and more level headed than when they last met when he was Yujikuna. He doesn’t know how well Sukuna could use the 10S, if Megumi can take control back, which he likely figured wasn’t possible given how he was just chilling with Kenjaku and Uraume
1. Kenjaku did seal off all of mekamarus escapes. And reason why there less contigency plans is that hes not a batman and its a normal amount of contingency plans and that binding wow made hard to create them in the first place, im suprised that he managed to create one to begin with.
2. Student exchange arc. Before that they had no idea about disaster curses being organised and lead by kenjaku. It's weird to assume that a curse that would want to avoid Jujutsu sorcerers and just keep killing normal people would want to got to Jujutsu festival.
3. Shibuya. Shibuya barrier is miles above the one they used in student exchange so they couldn't just break it + it lets strong people pass so you can't brute force it that's why they had to go in and Look for ways to break it. They had no comms inside to really share that info. Asking tengen is out of question, that dude is already to busy maintaining the barrier around Japan. As someone already said noone went with gojo cose noone can help gojo. People around him slow him down and that why he avoids going with anyone. Yuki was already on her way to shibuya since the beginning of the incidents, she just constantly travels around Japan so it took her longer than sorcerers who do live in Tokyo to get to Tokyo.
4. There is 0 reason to say that utas domain is stronger than yukis. Reason why Yuta was sent and not Yuki is not that he is stronger but that he is Much much much more versatile than her. They had no idea what was waiting for them so sending Yuki there is a bad decision. Hell only reason kenjaku succeeded is cose he happened to have a perfect counter to Yuki in form oh yukis mom. Dud saying that Megumi should have guessd the pattern is such bs. Hell he will deny that it's real even if you spell it out to him. When it comes to his sister this guy would have entered catatonic state if you told him that his sister was dead already. Reason why he wasn't when he saw that she already did reincarnated is purely denial and thinking it can be reversed.
5. Sukuna fight. It is very explicitly stated that gojo didn't fight or kill 15 finger sukuna is that they wanted to save Megumi before dealing with sukuna. Megumi was always a higher priority It was explicitly stated that lerue and Miguel refuse to participate while ther is any thread of sukuna domain expansion and of fuga. They REFUSED to work at the time higuruma went to fight. Lastly idea that if they all went together the would have a letter chance is stupid af. Friendly fire is a thing, it's easier to kill them all at once than killing them one by one and them some coming back after being healed. Their plan is so much better cose it allows them to prevent most death. So far the only ones who outright died are Gojo Kashimo and Higuruma rest were heavily wounded and evacuated to be treated.
the shibuya incident could have been ended if the higher ups just thought, "hey what if we sent every sorcerer here?" seriously, think of how much different it would be if they sent Yuta, Hakari. maybe if mechamaru told them, they could've looked for sorcerers, like, what if they found hiromi for the fight.
The scouts from Attack on Titan are pretty intelligent I think (though they do make stupid mistakes). I think by far the dumbest anime organization is the Demon Slayer corps. I'm truly surprised how they are still alive at this point. Actually, the only explanation is that Muzan and the demons are just as stupid as them, if not more.

1. Mechamaru's motivation wasn't to prevent Gojo's sealing, it was to keep his friends safe. So he prioritized that over the overall success of the world by manipulating the situation to make sure none of them were in shibuya. 2. The higher-ups knew the shibuya incident was a plan to trap Gojo, that's why they sent him in first. As soon as he is sealed, they start making moves against all of the people he was protecting(the principal, yuji, yuta if he were in the country). The current regime wants gojo sealed so that they are the strongest sorcerers, and they don't actually care about shibuya. Gojo went in willingly alone because he thought he was too strong to get sealed like that. 3. Using yuji would be way too risky, what if he captured rikq with cursed spirit manipulation? 4. It's just piss poor writing skills. We don't really know any of the characters besides the main group, and everyone else is summarized in flashbacks and extra media. Sukuna is a great antagonist, but he's just poorly managed: it's like watching Madara all over again
There are other instances that you could have mentioned like the fact that Gojo should have known about Sukuna's open domain through his students which would result in him attempting his shrunken domain right from the get go which could have given him better chances of beating Sukuna. And Maki should have gone for the head, seriously does Infinity War not exist in this universe?

I'm sorry, but this video is just incredibly wrong and misses the point of Jujutsu Kaisen. You're seeing all of this thru the power of "Hindsight" and being the reader. What happened in Shibuya was on purpose, and the only reason it happened was because these characters are written as if they are real people fighting against each and and improvising as the events progress. A lot of the other comments are going into far more depth than I'm willing to right now, so hopefully you see them.
Completely baseless argument ;_; hindsight was minimized here and it was instead noted that jujutsu society had been getting torn apart by issues like the night parade even beforehand so higher ups continuing to ignore this doesn't even make sense now that Japan's been in danger several times even with Gojo around Gege simply keeps writing himself into corners by ignoring world building. He's established 2 jujutsu metropolitan schools, 3 massive prestigious clans, and a SEPERATE jujutsu society run by the ainu people that he refused to mention more than once after failing to include it in the plot. He legit has to ignore or get rid of so much of his own world that the story feels completely half-assed. Good guys needed to be undermanned for the Shibuya Incident to take place, so Gege ignored everything else that's happened and had some ridiculous planning mistakes be made on jujutsu high's part. The culling games needed the most incompetent sorcerers to keep going for so long, so Gege conveniently had all of the adults just not appear, killed off the Zenin clan, scrapped ainu society, and got completely rid of the US military once they served their purpose to Kenjaku because he knew their intervention would mess up everything even if they're nonsorcerers. The plot is a bumbling mess ;_;

Kyoto was present at Shibuya, but Mechamaru literally said most of them should just stay back because they would get skill gapped effortlessly (They did.) Ainu society were stated to be isolated, but that's like the one thing you made a point on, which is his world building choices. Ainu society could still come into play, even though they most likely do not even like Tengen or anyone outside, the U.S military plotline was dropped because Gege realized it was too much to tackle and apologized. "Good guys need to be undermanned for the Shibuya incident to take place." Yes, since none of this is real, Gege purposefully written Night Parade and shown us Kenjaku working on his plan many chapters before Shibuya even started in order to justify why the good guys got beaten so badly.

@@yodarusev There are numerous examples of real life people/groups of people that don't work together even though there is a common enemy because they hate each other. Satoru's birth forced curses and everyone else to get stronger/adapt to the limits of Jujutsu being broken quickly, which contributed to the inability to recognize danger. Kenjaku has basically admitted at times that he has gotten lucky, but a lot of stuff like making Yuji a vessel for Sukuna, convincing Sukuna to reincarnate, and the Culling Games were very obviously planned out and didn't need too much luck. His plan in general just took a lot of patience (Geto and Mahito eventually existing, making barriers for the Culling Games, understanding Jujutsu to the best of his capabilities) to actually work. Kenjaku is not like Aizen from Bleach or anything, he just gathered the right cards/hand, planned/worked on his big idea for years, and waited for the conditions to be right in order to play his hand. Even then, he could have done a lot of things without certain people and curses existing.
How exaclty would Megumi see through his sisters act? Gojo postponed the fight because he obviously didnt want to just kill Megumis body, so he planned with everybody ways to get him out first (and its possible Gojo didnt know Sukuna wasnt at full power yet). Do you really think Naoya (and the rest of the zenin clan tbh) would willingly go to shibuya? why? what do they gain from it? Is your idea of a good plan sending 10+ sorcerers to fight Sukuna at the same time? Do you think its impossible for these guys to step in each others toes? Do you not think Sukuna has the potential to one shot them all with one move (like he has shown capable to do with his flames)? This whole video is based on the fact you are reading the work, so you have the hindsight to know what could work best, this logic is applicable to any series ever.
- Mechamaru couldn't escape, that's explicit in the show - His contingency plan is kind of bad sure - Every group had their own goal in Shibuya, the whole thing with the barrier overlay was hard to deal with - Tengen can't just break barriers, he planned to break Kenjaku's domain by collapsing his own barrier, that would only work if those barriers were inside Tengen's barriers, which was not the case - There is a basic ideia in the story that everyone involved in a Gojo fight is just encumbrance. Even Yuta wouldn't be helpful if he showed up against Sukuna in the final battle, this situation is similar - The 3 main clans and the higher-ups barely do shit, all of Gojo ideal are based around that. I would say that Naobito being there makes less sense than the other Zenin not showing up. Those things are generally handled by Jujutsu High and their students and ex estudents (Even Yuki and Kusakabe are masters of Jujutsu high students being Aoi Todo and Miwa). - Yuki was already able to one shot every curse of Kenjaku, even the especial grades, if that was a issue during the fight Kenjaku wouldn't open his domain. We also don't know how strong is Yuta domain because the only time it clashed was a unusual situation and Kenjaku's domain has no borders, he would probably summon a curse outside of Yuta's border and destroy his domain regardless just like Sukuna did to Gojo - Yoruko probably only took control of the body on the last second, just like Yuji switches with Sukuna. Still kind of weird for them not even think of this possibility but sure - Every ally they had showed up in the culling games somehow. Remember that Nanami died, Gojo was sealed, Yaga died, Shoko is not a fighter and Mei Mei ran away. The only adults left were Yuki, who was protecting Kenjaku and Utahime which is either not that useful or was occupy in Kyoto high. We also need to remember that Japan is infested with curses, the adults that we don't know of are probably dealing with that too (or they were against their plan in the first place, just like how Kusakabe wanted for Yuji to die) - Hakari and Yuta are way more competent sorcerer then Ino Kusakabe and Mei Mei regardless, we also don't know were Ino is i will give you that. But not everyone was in favor of unsealing Gojo - This is not really said in the manga, but I assume Gojo was not at 100% after being unsealed. If he clashed domains against Sukuna he probably would lose because he wouldn't be able to make his domain small (that's speculation). Gojo said he would lose against Sukuna even without the ten shadows, if you put Kenjaku and Uraume in the mix, it's not for certain that he would win (they probably know how to use amplification and gravity manipulation would affect him) - Larue and Miguel didn't want to show up until Sukuna was weakened enough, they couldn't rely in his CT that early. Larue only shows up after Sukuna lost his arms (couldn't use the world cutting slash) and barely had RCT. If Sukuna was not weakened, Larue would just get hit by cleave just like Yuji was when Higuruma was fighting - This fight is way faster than people realize. Sukuna was being jumped the entire time, but the backup was just being one shot. That happened to Choso and Ino, and Kusakabe was already fighting, he was just the only one left at that point. Maki was also jumping Sukuna but the whole plan of hiding her with the domain was better then she being in the front row from the start, the destroyed Sukuna's heart

The only one I kinda agree with is mechamaru setting a better activation condition for his mini-maru’s. The rest are really just things you can only say in hindsight or just straight up wrong. Like the entire point of the shibuya incident was that it was a complete blindside Gojo should’ve easily cleaned up himself. Only reason Naobito was there to begin with was to deny Maki a promotion. Tengen doesn’t interfere with anything. The higher ups don’t give af about civilian casualties. They just didn’t want to risk any sorcerers casualties. The megumi thing is just ignoring all context for his character. Same for Larue and Miguel. They didn’t want to fight to begin with, so they wanted as much damage dealt to Sukuna as possible. It’s easy to say Larue go team with Higuruma. But you have to look at it from their perspective. They’d literally rather fight the Godzilla merger curse than a weakened Sukuna. Ignoring that Gojo vs 15F Sukuna isn’t a low diff for either character. Gojo doesn’t know what current finger number Sukuna is at. And ya know, he’s in Megumi’s body. What if he lost right there? He doesn’t know the state of the world or his students they’d be alone again without a plan of any sort.

It was very hard for sorcerers to take down the barrier. As sudo geto is the second best barrier master after tengen. the reason it seemed easy was Yujis luck.
One thing the Jujutsu sorcerers lacked was a genius strategist/mastermind of their operation, like they didn’t have a shikamaru or L type of genius on their team to effectively plan & strategize for them against Sukuna or in the culling games. Yeah they had multiple backup plans but with no true strategy and if they did they executed poorly

The reason that shibuya incident happens is because no one expected gojo to get sealed. Its like if you deploy someone like sukuna, in no world the worst possible imaginable outcome in their mind would be "we lost sukuna". And kenjaku know this, thats why cutting the communication chain is such an important part of this incident.
I’d like to mention that it is very likely that the higher ups aka the people responsible for planning the shibuya counteroffensive, likely guessed that the curses wanted to get rid of gojo, and the higher ups saw that as a win win. To them, either gojo kills all the spirits and there are fewer curses in the world, or gojo is sealed, and we have to send in a bunch of sorcerers to finish off the spirits. Either way, the curses are defeated and to them, they had a chance to get rid of their “Gojo Problem”.
allow me to explain the plannings regarding the shibuya incident 1. the binding vow to activate these mechamaru chips were probably made so that they will only work after his death and gojo getting sealed, also the reason why he did not leave a few chips during the good will event is likely that did not plan with kenjaku back then. 2. barriers could have been made using a binding vow so that it weakens after gojo entered in ruturn of being strong before and in return of other people being able to break them easily barrier specialists would have a harder time 3. you cannot have every sorcerer in the history in shibuya. it was stated that satoru does not have a good relationship with his his father that might be the reason that they did have anyone from that gojo clan the kamo clan was probably manipulated by kenjaku so they wont interfere. that leaves only a handful of adult sorcerers and the remaining members of the zenin clan do their job at other parts of japan and as you said a large number of sorcerers died the previous year. 4. the higher ups are corrupt and how they saw if they saw if they did what they said then gojo is either taken care of or the curses are taken care of both would be beneficial for them not to mention the civilians lives were less at risk as they saw it simply because they could not seen sukuna going wild

To be fair, I do that for most shows, but when it's so good it changes my perspective it's brilliant, chainsaw man, 86, Violet Evergarden, and Heavenly Delusion are a few that have crossed that barrier for me,

I think the only one who gets a pass is Muta. I'm pretty sure the Binding Vow he did with Mahito physically prevented him from revealing anything about the plan to seal Gojo. Kenjaku would have taken it into account that _first_ thing Muta would do once the deal was complete was inform literally anyone about the Shibiya Plan. He 100% added in a "can't inform anyone about the plan to seal Gojo until _after_ Gojo is sealed. With this caveot in mind, Mechamaru made the best backup plan he could. He had to program the Mechamaru discs _around_ the binding vow. I think the better backup plan would have been, to hide from Mahito and Kenjaku and program a disc right after he was free from the vow. He would have been free to add in the "in case of my death" clause then. But I'm pretty sure he couldn't do it beforehand.

4:54 - Not really. Pretty sure the Zenin and other clans want Yuji dead. They could have used the Shibuya incident as an excuse to assassinate Yuji (Because Gojo is sealed). Think about it: a three-way battle between The protagonists, The Zenin Clan, and the Cursed Spirits before Sukuna and Jogo wipe them all. That would have been epic.
One thing I don’t see anyone really talk about with JJK is how much Gege has set up for Jujutsu society to be forced into changing even after the good guys win. Gojo killed the higher ups, the zenin clan has two members left, Gojo clan is extinct to our knowledge. There will be a massive power vacuum in jujutsu society and if Itadori, Hakari, and Yuta(the three Gojo thought could surpass him) survive, they will likely be the three left to actually decide the future of jujutsu society, and with Itadori realizing his potential to be so much more than just a cog. Unless he changed his mind, Gege has said either one will die or three will die and we already have two dead members between Itadori, Nobara, Megumi, and Gojo. I don’t think Megumi is coming back guys and honestly if he has to die for Sukuna to die I think it is beyond a fair sacrifice.

Yuta having came earlier would’ve stopped pretty much everything. He could’ve used his RCT output in order to one shot all of the disaster curses so Gojo doesn’t get sealed, without Mahito the culling games don’t happen and thousands of people survive.
The fact the culling games could have been prevented if Gojo just fought the villains earlier makes the name even more fitting. It's just like the cell games/android saga. ?They could have prevented Android 17 & 18 from waking if they wanted to. Bulma even suggested it to them. Without the androids cell doesn't even make it to semi perfect form.
There was some important information involving the culling games is that… everyone was going in blind there was no grasp on there strength of the opponents, shibuya incident had the overconfident of… how could gojo lose thus the less amount of manpower that showed up there, battle against sukuna they had to make sure he didn’t just… you know leave after beating gojo so they couldn’t wait for yuta to show up, megumi did make some oversights during the culling games with assumptions but these happen and it’s clear that it was beyond a fuck up, battle against sukuna has 1 important mess up that happened up until yuta defeat of them trying to save megumi until they learn that megumi doesn’t want to be saved so most of there plans had flaws to them because of this (also love man was just being diffult only going to show up if he was garenteed to survive.) was it a perfect plan… no but the main problem with a lot of these incidents is overconfidence and lack of information.
So many of your arguments don't take into account the human aspect of these characters. -Mecamaru couldn't tell them in advance cause he made a binding vow, only when the incident started and was no longer a secret was he able to help somewhat -The jjk sorceres didn't really know what was waiting for them in shibuya, thats why they took the students for evaluation. Gojo was there so everyone assumed it would be safe-ish. -Gojo would not have wanted to fight 15 fingers Sukuna, he never wanted to kill Yuji at all -the person in megumis sister had her memories and was able to mimic her mannerisms, Megumi hasn't spoken to his sister in a Long time, anything that could have been a red flag could be rationalized as "oh she's just recovering from her coma"

Either he never told Megumi there was the possibility that Tsumiki was an ancient sorcerer upon waking up and they'd be dealing with something worse than the Sukuna-Yuji possession (because the modern personality taking the control away from the ancient sorcerer is RARE), or he did say it and Megumi just didn't want to believe him.

I think the reasons why Zenin clan wasn't there are:
1. Gege didn't created them, just like he didn't create any of Gojo clan members, except Satoru Gojo.
2. They probably didn't wanted to have a deal with Gojo, because they hate them.
About Yuki and Yuta - i'm sure Yuta'd died against Kenjaku, + the reason why Yuki didn't used her domain is because of Tengen's plan, so Yuta probably didn't used his domain there as well, + Kenjaku himself said, that Yuki was able to win, IF she'd used the domain expansion, instead of hoping for Tengen destroying Kenjaku's domain.

Heck, I think Mechamaru was probably planning on only letting Gojo know about the plan, since he only put the earpieces at Shibuya instead of JJ High. And we all know that the only person that has a high chance of being deployed in there was Gojo. In a high risk situation, they'd only try the plan with the lowest number of persons involved. But Gojo never encountered any of the earpieces planted.
Jujutsu society is fucked from the very start. Gojo's existence makes them want to self preserve and only do the bare minimum.
Kenjaku was described to have an almost prophetic vision of where things will land, he found Sukuna's twin soul and was just there in the right time to steal Geto's body.

It took Maki, Megumi, Noritoshi, Panda and Toge just to hold off Hanami and then Todo and Yuji as and they were unsuccessful. If They were 2 disaster curses, it wouldn't go well for jujutsu high even if Mechamaru warned them. And they were 3 of them in the train station. Literally the entire cast wouldve died fighting them if they went instead of Gojo. Well probably if they had Yuta but then if you add Dagon, Kenjaku himself and Uraume, probably wont end well for jujutsu high. And going into battle with Gojo is almost suicide cos if they are caught in infinite void, its over. Its not lack of planning, its lack of power.

About the point that everyone should've jumped Sukuna. We see in their battle with Gojo, that the aftermath is CATASTROPHIC. When gojo fights in general, everyone else around is a liability because of how devastating his abilities are, add Sukuna to that, and most of the cast would've just died in the first exchange of blows. It's also dangerous to jump Sukuna due to his aoe slashes, which most of the cast are incapable of dodging. Also, something that is noticeable in the manga, sorcerers are not team players. They are all trained for one-on-one encounters, so them trying to attack sukuna all at once, they probably would've just got in each others' way.
Sukuna could have used them to combo and do good in his fight long enough for Fuga to be charged and then everyone not named Gojo probably would've just died there

To me, the worst part in JJK lack of planning, is the fact that they don't convey information to one another or to the higher-ups, outside of episodes. As if they didn't have intel on Hanami, Mahito, Jogo and all the terrorist sorcerers. They know from very early that the enemy intends to use Sukuna, and Gojo even knows that Sukuna could at any given time make a pact with Yugi. Not to mention the fact that the curses they are facing, have been dealt with before. So they should expect them to appear some time after they get exorcised as well as measure their power leveling speed based on how long they have been around. Otherwise, how do they even dare call it jujutsu "tech". Where is the tech to be found?? And to put the cherry on top, on season 1, they stole fingers from the base... Anyone could put 1 and 1 together and have the answer to their plan 🙄

I think you missed the point. If you have the ultimate card “ Gojo” don’t do anything, helping Gojo in anyway will only cause problems, no one thought not even Gojo that he can be sealed in this way.

for point 1, given Mechamaru and his prep times, I can see how he could use a decoy to escape. He literally chased Mahito throughout a big ass perimeter.
for point 6, I would say that Gojo is pretty much assured to win against all 3 at once but for plot convenience, he needed to do something beforehand and catch up for infos with the protagonists.
I would revisit point 4 by saying that it's Yuta when he pre-training with the guys so his Domain expansion is not as strong as currently.

Yeah I always thought the sorcerers were kinda stupid. So, Gojo was having trouble fighting the disaster curses because civilians were around. Yet he easily walked towards Hanami and killed her. Why didn't he do that for Choso and Mahito too? And for Jogo, since he's using domain amplification, why not grab him, drag him away from the civilians, and then kill him with a powerful technique?

1. Jogo and Choso were way more cautious about fighting Gojo. Hanami had their back placed towards the wall, meanwhile Jogo didn’t and had time to run. Later when Gojo is stuck in a crowd, Jogo gets his arm grabbed and just tears it off in order to get away. Basically Jogo would rip whatever part of himself off in order to get away. Also all of Gojo’s more powerful techniques could’ve collapsed major parts of the station.
2. The narrator states that Gojo fears that they might awaken from the 0.2 domain too fast and continue using hit and run tactics in order to prevent him from killing more transfigured humans.
3. The plan was that Gojo, wouldn’t use his domain and that he’d stand still long enough for Kenjaku to appear and use the prison realm. Gojo wouldn’t have done it due to the fact they added more humans into the area, thanks to Mahito collapsing the ceiling. All of it was to put more pressure on Gojo.

And have everyone wear armor like soldiers since this is supposed to be a military force and have said armor be imbued with curse energy to add further protection

Also if a senior dies, who do you replace him with? You would have to send the kids in anyways. Also, age doesn't really matter. If your cursed technique is weak you can go and train for 35 years but a 5 year old Gojo would still beat you.
I doubt cursed imbued bullets will stop a meteor, lava or the guy who can transform you into a baseball bat. Have not realized that 90% of the cursed weapons used are useless?

I dont think Mechamaru could have made a different binding vow. Thats how bindint vows work, you need to give up something of value to gain an effect of relative value. He was speaking from beyond the grave. That in itself is a very expensive request and he was speaking to multiple people.
The person in charge of them i assume wouldnt be like. "Hey, ill let you have this effect when gojo dies. Oh? Thats inconvenient? Oh I'm sorry, ill just change it to a time that works for you". That defeats the whole purpose

only thing I'd say say against the all in one jumping was the real threat of a domain expansion wiping them all out in a single go. I imagine there was a significant amount of planning that was immediately tossed out when the fight began as well, like 2 months of planning down the drain when you realize the mfers can spam DE like they're pennies and dimes. Also alot of people just not willing to risk their lives, IMO they should have actually should have let Yuta copy Ui Ui's spatial transfer so as soon as kenjaku was finished he could TP to assist Yuji and Higaruma. At the same time, this would leave the CSM rampage, but tbh thousands of CS would be much easier to clean up later, especially if you made another team of anyone willing to do pest work/not willing to fight sukuna.
The characters should be using a binding vows more to get stronger they're incredibly useful but are so rarely used. I consider this poor planning as well.
A binding vow is basically sacrificing a certain thing to gain something else it would just limit some characters other than sukuna

Or again he could run away, but instead he sacrificed himself to fight Mahito for the medallions to work. It's all about perspective with these plothole vows.

What you said about Mechamaru's binding vow makes sense, we know that from Meimei's CT the most powerful binding vows are vows that come at the cost of the subject's life, as in the case with her crows.
So a powerful binding vow where Mechamaru's communication devices would immediately manifest as a result of his death is completely plausible/feasible . I believe this to be the case, especially with the way we see Sukuna cast so many binding effective binding vows for his DE, and the world cutting slash, in the latest chapters with no life threatening drawbacks, with no issue.
This is never explained in the story, but I think it's reasonable to assume that Mechamaru couldn't make a self-imposed binding vow like that without risking its creation causing a his binding vow with Mahito/Kenjaku to break. Their binding vow was probably something to the effect of "you work as our mole, give us info on Jujutsu Tech and Gojo Satoru, and promise not to leak our plans to seal him on October 31st. In exchange, we promise to do you and your classmates no harm, and to heal you once your side of the bargain is fulfilled." If the vow was something like this, then Mechamaru making a binding vow that would inform everyone of the enemies plan in the case of his own death would have broken the promise (since he knew theyd kill him before shibuya), unless he made the vow AFTER the deal was finished. Unfortunately for Mechamaru, he had to fight the second the deal was complete, so he couldn't make the vow. Having Gojos sealing be the activation condition doesn't break the binding vow imo, since it would only activate IF the villains plan succeeded, so he definitionally wouldn't be leaking information to the good guys that would prevent Gojos sealing. The only thing I can say for Gojo not bitching 15F Sukuna is him not knowing how to deal with him and Megumi. Sukuna seemed stronger and more level headed than when they last met when he was Yujikuna. He doesn’t know how well Sukuna could use the 10S, if Megumi can take control back, which he likely figured wasn’t possible given how he was just chilling with Kenjaku and Uraume
1. Kenjaku did seal off all of mekamarus escapes. And reason why there less contigency plans is that hes not a batman and its a normal amount of contingency plans and that binding wow made hard to create them in the first place, im suprised that he managed to create one to begin with.
2. Student exchange arc. Before that they had no idea about disaster curses being organised and lead by kenjaku. It's weird to assume that a curse that would want to avoid Jujutsu sorcerers and just keep killing normal people would want to got to Jujutsu festival.
3. Shibuya. Shibuya barrier is miles above the one they used in student exchange so they couldn't just break it + it lets strong people pass so you can't brute force it that's why they had to go in and Look for ways to break it. They had no comms inside to really share that info. Asking tengen is out of question, that dude is already to busy maintaining the barrier around Japan.

4. There is 0 reason to say that utas domain is stronger than yukis. Reason why Yuta was sent and not Yuki is not that he is stronger but that he is Much much much more versatile than her. They had no idea what was waiting for them so sending Yuki there is a bad decision. Hell only reason kenjaku succeeded is cose he happened to have a perfect counter to Yuki in form oh yukis mom.

5. Sukuna fight. It is very explicitly stated that gojo didn't fight or kill 15 finger sukuna is that they wanted to save Megumi before dealing with sukuna. Megumi was always a higher priority
It was explicitly stated that lerue and Miguel refuse to participate while ther is any thread of sukuna domain expansion and of fuga. They REFUSED to work at the time higuruma went to fight.
Lastly idea that if they all went together the would have a letter chance is stupid af. Friendly fire is a thing, it's easier to kill them all at once than killing them one by one and them some coming back after being healed. Their plan is so much better cose it allows them to prevent most death. So far the only ones who outright died are Gojo Kashimo and Higuruma rest were heavily wounded and evacuated to be treated.

1. Mechamaru's motivation wasn't to prevent Gojo's sealing, it was to keep his friends safe. So he prioritized that over the overall success of the world by manipulating the situation to make sure none of them were in shibuya.
2. The higher-ups knew the shibuya incident was a plan to trap Gojo, that's why they sent him in first. As soon as he is sealed, they start making moves against all of the people he was protecting(the principal, yuji, yuta if he were in the country). The current regime wants gojo sealed so that they are the strongest sorcerers, and they don't actually care about shibuya. Gojo went in willingly alone because he thought he was too strong to get sealed like that.
3. Using yuji would be way too risky, what if he captured rikq with cursed spirit manipulation?
4. Higuruma could only have gone in with Yuji, or it could have effected the trial. Also, larue would not have gone into the fray that early
It's just piss poor writing skills. We don't really know any of the characters besides the main group, and everyone else is summarized in flashbacks and extra media. Sukuna is a great antagonist, but he's just poorly managed: it's like watching Madara all over again
There are other instances that you could have mentioned like the fact that Gojo should have known about Sukuna's open domain through his students which would result in him attempting his shrunken domain right from the get go which could have given him better chances of beating Sukuna. What happened in Shibuya was on purpose, and the only reason it happened was because these characters are written as if they are real people fighting against each and and improvising as the events progress. Gege simply keeps writing himself into corners by ignoring world building. He's established 2 jujutsu metropolitan schools, 3 massive prestigious clans, and a SEPERATE jujutsu society run by the ainu people that he refused to mention more than once after failing to include it in the plot. He legit has to ignore or get rid of so much of his own world that the story feels completely half-assed.
Good guys needed to be undermanned for the Shibuya Incident to take place, so Gege ignored everything else that's happened and had some ridiculous planning mistakes be made on jujutsu high's part. The culling games needed the most incompetent sorcerers to keep going for so long, so Gege conveniently had all of the adults just not appear, killed off the Zenin clan, scrapped ainu society, and got completely rid of the US military once they served their purpose to Kenjaku because he knew their intervention would mess up everything even if they're nonsorcerers.

The Night Parade most likely took out a ton of sorcerers, and everyone conveniently forgets the fact that the curses in Shibuya were literally skill gapping the grade 1s, so it's not like a lot of sorcerers being there would make a difference. Everyone also likes to forget that Shibuya was LITERALLY A SURPRISE ATTACK YEARS IN THE MAKING BY A SUPER GENIUS JUJUTSU SORCERER.
Zenin clan wasn't there because they hate the Gojo clan and want to see them lose, Naobito was only there for money, and the Gojo clan has very specifically been stated to only really be powerful because of the Six Eyes+Limitless alone, Satoru has most of the clan on his back.
Kyoto was present at Shibuya, but Mechamaru literally said most of them should just stay back because they would get skill gapped effortlessly (They did.)
Ainu society were stated to be isolated, but that's like the one thing you made a point on, which is his world building choices. Ainu society could still come into play, even though they most likely do not even like Tengen or anyone outside, the U.S military plotline was dropped because Gege realized it was too much to tackle and apologized.

Satoru's birth forced curses and everyone else to get stronger/adapt to the limits of Jujutsu being broken quickly, which contributed to the inability to recognize danger.
Kenjaku has basically admitted at times that he has gotten lucky, but a lot of stuff like making Yuji a vessel for Sukuna, convincing Sukuna to reincarnate, and the Culling Games were very obviously planned out and didn't need too much luck. His plan in general just took a lot of patience (Geto and Mahito eventually existing, making barriers for the Culling Games, understanding Jujutsu to the best of his capabilities) to actually work. Kenjaku is not like Aizen from Bleach or anything, he just gathered the right cards/hand, planned/worked on his big idea for years, and waited for the conditions to be right in order to play his hand. Even then, he could have done a lot of things without certain people and curses existing.
How exaclty would Megumi see through his sisters act? Gojo postponed the fight because he obviously didnt want to just kill Megumis body, so he planned with everybody ways to get him out first (and its possible Gojo didnt know Sukuna wasnt at full power yet). Do you really think Naoya (and the rest of the zenin clan tbh) would willingly go to shibuya? why? what do they gain from it? Is your idea of a good plan sending 10+ sorcerers to fight Sukuna at the same time? Do you think its impossible for these guys to step in each others toes? Do you not think Sukuna has the potential to one shot them all with one move (like he has shown capable to do with his flames)? This whole video is based on the fact you are reading the work, so you have the hindsight to know what could work best, this logic is applicable to any series ever.

- Every group had their own goal in Shibuya, the whole thing with the barrier overlay was hard to deal with
- Tengen can't just break barriers, he planned to break Kenjaku's domain by collapsing his own barrier, that would only work if those barriers were inside Tengen's barriers, which was not the case
- There is a basic ideia in the story that everyone involved in a Gojo fight is just encumbrance. Even Yuta wouldn't be helpful if he showed up against Sukuna in the final battle, this situation is similar
- The 3 main clans and the higher-ups barely do shit, all of Gojo ideal are based around that. I would say that Naobito being there makes less sense than the other Zenin not showing up. Those things are generally handled by Jujutsu High and their students and ex estudents (Even Yuki and Kusakabe are masters of Jujutsu high students being Aoi Todo and Miwa).
- Yuki was already able to one shot every curse of Kenjaku, even the especial grades, if that was a issue during the fight Kenjaku wouldn't open his domain. We also don't know how strong is Yuta domain because the only time it clashed was a unusual situation and Kenjaku's domain has no borders, he would probably summon a curse outside of Yuta's border and destroy his domain regardless just like Sukuna did to Gojo
- Yoruko probably only took control of the body on the last second, just like Yuji switches with Sukuna. Still kind of weird for them not even think of this possibility but sure
- Every ally they had showed up in the culling games somehow. Remember that Nanami died, Gojo was sealed, Yaga died, Shoko is not a fighter and Mei Mei ran away. The only adults left were Yuki, who was protecting Kenjaku and Utahime which is either not that useful or was occupy in Kyoto high. We also need to remember that Japan is infested with curses, the adults that we don't know of are probably dealing with that too (or they were against their plan in the first place, just like how Kusakabe wanted for Yuji to die)
- Hakari and Yuta are way more competent sorcerer then Ino Kusakabe and Mei Mei regardless, we also don't know were Ino is i will give you that. But not everyone was in favor of unsealing Gojo
- This is not really said in the manga, but I assume Gojo was not at 100% after being unsealed. If he clashed domains against Sukuna he probably would lose because he wouldn't be able to make his domain small (that's speculation). Gojo said he would lose against Sukuna even without the ten shadows, if you put Kenjaku and Uraume in the mix, it's not for certain that he would win (they probably know how to use amplification and gravity manipulation would affect him)
- Larue and Miguel didn't want to show up until Sukuna was weakened enough, they couldn't rely in his CT that early. Larue only shows up after Sukuna lost his arms (couldn't use the world cutting slash) and barely had RCT. If Sukuna was not weakened, Larue would just get hit by cleave just like Yuji was when Higuruma was fighting
- This fight is way faster than people realize. Sukuna was being jumped the entire time, but the backup was just being one shot. That happened to Choso and Ino, and Kusakabe was already fighting, he was just the only one left at that point. Maki was also jumping Sukuna but the whole plan of hiding her with the domain was better then she being in the front row from the start, the destroyed Sukuna's heart
And Higuruma was already dead when Yuta showed up so it wouldn't work

Like the entire point of the shibuya incident was that it was a complete blindside Gojo should’ve easily cleaned up himself. Only reason Naobito was there to begin with was to deny Maki a promotion. Tengen doesn’t interfere with anything. The higher ups don’t give af about civilian casualties. They just didn’t want to risk any sorcerers casualties.
The megumi thing is just ignoring all context for his character. Same for Larue and Miguel. They didn’t want to fight to begin with, so they wanted as much damage dealt to Sukuna as possible. It’s easy to say Larue go team with Higuruma. But you have to look at it from their perspective. They’d literally rather fight the Godzilla merger curse than a weakened Sukuna.
Ignoring that Gojo vs 15F Sukuna isn’t a low diff for either character. Gojo doesn’t know what current finger number Sukuna is at. And ya know, he’s in Megumi’s body. What if he lost right there? He doesn’t know the state of the world or his students they’d be alone again without a plan of any sort.

although in defense of the JJK Adults most of them had gotten killed or ran off after the Shibuya Arc and the ones that didn't were kinda paralyzed dealing with how society just fucking imploded after Kenjaku basically revealed monsters are real by unleashing all those curse spirits and taking over the Kamo clan and then some the students just kinda ran off on their own in the chaos while we see the other students that didn't immediately run in tried to regroup at their schools off screen before being allowed to run off wherever because there wasn't really much to do
the plot does get 100% more hilarious though when you realize Ui-Ui has a teleportation ability so strong it got him and Mei Mei from Japan to Malaysia but at no point did anything think to pay Mei Mei to have Ui Ui teleport in help? even if Yuta being in Africa was too far away somehow they still could have gotten Yuki there faster or some others to help with greater coordination

It was very hard for sorcerers to take down the barrier. As sudo geto is the second best barrier master after tengen. the reason it seemed easy was Yujis luck.
One thing the Jujutsu sorcerers lacked was a genius strategist/mastermind of their operation, like they didn’t have a shikamaru or L type of genius on their team to effectively plan & strategize for them against Sukuna or in the culling games. Yeah they had multiple backup plans but with no true strategy and if they did they executed poorly

The reason that shibuya incident happens is because no one expected gojo to get sealed. Its like if you deploy someone like sukuna, in no world the worst possible imaginable outcome in their mind would be "we lost sukuna". And kenjaku know this, thats why cutting the communication chain is such an important part of this incident.

I’d like to mention that it is very likely that the higher ups aka the people responsible for planning the shibuya counteroffensive, likely guessed that the curses wanted to get rid of gojo, and the higher ups saw that as a win win. To them, either gojo kills all the spirits and there are fewer curses in the world, or gojo is sealed, and we have to send in a bunch of sorcerers to finish off the spirits. Either way, the curses are defeated and to them, they had a chance to get rid of their “Gojo Problem”.
allow me to explain the plannings regarding the shibuya incident
1. the binding vow to activate these mechamaru chips were probably made so that they will only work after his death and gojo getting sealed, also the reason why he did not leave a few chips during the good will event is likely that did not plan with kenjaku back then.
2. barriers could have been made using a binding vow so that it weakens after gojo entered in ruturn of being strong before and in return of other people being able to break them easily barrier specialists would have a harder time
3. you cannot have every sorcerer in the history in shibuya. it was stated that satoru does not have a good relationship with his his father that might be the reason that they did have anyone from that gojo clan the kamo clan was probably manipulated by kenjaku so they wont interfere. that leaves only a handful of adult sorcerers and the remaining members of the zenin clan do their job at other parts of japan and as you said a large number of sorcerers died the previous year.
4. the higher ups are corrupt and how they saw if they saw if they did what they said then gojo is either taken care of or the curses are taken care of both would be beneficial for them not to mention the civilians lives were less at risk as they saw it simply because they could not seen sukuna going wild

I think the only one who gets a pass is Muta. I'm pretty sure the Binding Vow he did with Mahito physically prevented him from revealing anything about the plan to seal Gojo.
Kenjaku would have taken it into account that _first_ thing Muta would do once the deal was complete was inform literally anyone about the Shibiya Plan. He 100% added in a "can't inform anyone about the plan to seal Gojo until _after_ Gojo is sealed.
With this caveot in mind, Mechamaru made the best backup plan he could. He had to program the Mechamaru discs _around_ the binding vow.
I think the better backup plan would have been, to hide from Mahito and Kenjaku and program a disc right after he was free from the vow. He would have been free to add in the "in case of my death" clause then. But I'm pretty sure he couldn't do it beforehand.

One thing I don’t see anyone really talk about with JJK is how much Gege has set up for Jujutsu society to be forced into changing even after the good guys win. Gojo killed the higher ups, the zenin clan has two members left, Gojo clan is extinct to our knowledge. There will be a massive power vacuum in jujutsu society and if Itadori, Hakari, and Yuta(the three Gojo thought could surpass him) survive, they will likely be the three left to actually decide the future of jujutsu society, and with Itadori realizing his potential to be so much more than just a cog.
Unless he changed his mind, Gege has said either one will die or three will die and we already have two dead members between Itadori, Nobara, Megumi, and Gojo. I don’t think Megumi is coming back guys and honestly if he has to die for Sukuna to die I think it is beyond a fair sacrifice.

The fact the culling games could have been prevented if Gojo just fought the villains earlier makes the name even more fitting. It's just like the cell games/android saga. ?They could have prevented Android 17 & 18 from waking if they wanted to. Bulma even suggested it to them. There was some important information involving the culling games is that… everyone was going in blind there was no grasp on there strength of the opponents, shibuya incident had the overconfident of… how could gojo lose thus the less amount of manpower that showed up there, battle against sukuna they had to make sure he didn’t just… you know leave after beating gojo so they couldn’t wait for yuta to show up, megumi did make some oversights during the culling games with assumptions but these happen and it’s clear that it was beyond a fuck up, battle against sukuna has 1 important mess up that happened up until yuta defeat of them trying to save megumi until they learn that megumi doesn’t want to be saved so most of there plans had flaws to them because of this (also love man was just being diffult only going to show up if he was garenteed to survive.) was it a perfect plan… no but the main problem with a lot of these incidents is overconfidence and lack of information.

So many of your arguments don't take into account the human aspect of these characters.
-Mecamaru couldn't tell them in advance cause he made a binding vow, only when the incident started and was no longer a secret was he able to help somewhat
-The jjk sorceres didn't really know what was waiting for them in shibuya, thats why they took the students for evaluation. Gojo was there so everyone assumed it would be safe-ish.
-Gojo would not have wanted to fight 15 fingers Sukuna, he never wanted to kill Yuji at all
-the person in megumis sister had her memories and was able to mimic her mannerisms, Megumi hasn't spoken to his sister in a Long time, anything that could have been a red flag could be rationalized as "oh she's just recovering from her coma"

this means when Kenjaku monologued straight at Yuji that he had humans eat cursed objects, those humans went into a coma and had their brains transfigured to be the vessels for sorcerers, and "They were marked with my energy. They should be waking up soon", Yuji didn't turn around and tell Megumi.
Either he never told Megumi there was the possibility that Tsumiki was an ancient sorcerer upon waking up and they'd be dealing with something worse than the Sukuna-Yuji possession (because the modern personality taking the control away from the ancient sorcerer is RARE), or he did say it and Megumi just didn't want to believe him.
