  • Heading into the second model year of the cycle for all of our brands, we have relatively few changes to discuss. But that doesn't stop us from talking a lot.

Hi! Why are you never explain about Atomic skis ? It's a good quality ski with history... I love them.

I used to race on Atomic and really liked the brand. But there was about ten years where they went in some crazy directions and kept changing things without much sense of purpose. In the past five or six years they have done very good work and are really back on track. But it is a lot of hard work to learn a new brand - we test a LOT of skis and it takes time to learn. We haven't done the work with Atomic.

I have the first Redline wetbase skate ski. In the Nordics, the spring/thaw season lasts a long time, and is considered the best time to ski. That's when these skis shine, so I understand why. Madshus makes them.

After going to madshus did they mention any noteworthy updates to the classic skiis this year? Interested in getting redline cold version as i already own a pair of redline warm.

We have done a huge amount of testing this season, and are working on sorting out what new products to bring into the line for next season...
