Best part is the smile on her face ! She busted her ace on that thing and didn't loose interest in it and she got rewarded for her hard work and sticking with it. You will now enjoy for many years what you and your father have done. If the truck should ever go or be lost, you and your father will still have something that will last forever and can never be taken away . And that is some very good unforgettable memories . Can't wait to see you drive it down the road little miss.
That smile by little Daisy Duke was worth it. You guys are great. That truck has come a long way, I learned to drive on one exactly the same color as that one. 6 with three on the tree.
Howdy to all the Hevyshevy's....That old 66 is comin right along, I learned to drive on a 66 GMC, same color...sure takes me back, my Dad had a 63, 64 and a 66...I was around those old chvey trucks most of my youth. Hope everyone is well, safe and happy, God Bless.
Cool truck for a beautiful daughter! You have done a wonderful job building the truck and raising some great children. Hats off to you and the wife and thanks for the vidios. At just shy of seventy I hope to get Dad's 48 Chevy running soon. living in the barn is not good Racoons and mice love the olg cloth wire and the mud wasps have filled every crack and hole.
2 thumbs up from here folks. Congrats on the firing of the SB, sounds killer. Only thing better is LittleMiss laugh and smile, you are a great family to watch !!
Well, the wait was worth it! I don't know who's prouder the Little Miss, Ole Dad or Me! It's great and it will always be worth a lot of memories for both of you!
I can tell you have been around. Didn't lose your eyebrows leaning over the carb backfiring.. Sounds great. Someone certainly enjoys working with her Dad..Take Care
Just found your videos while looking for information on problems with a hard brake pedal on a 64 C10 that my son's father-in-law bought. I got hooked on your vids and forgot what I was researching! Great to see your daughter showing great interest in the greasy end of vehicles! I also can appreciate your wife's helping you! Mine has been the same way in some of my past projects! Your style makes one feel like they are right in the garage with you all!
Things are progressing in a positive manor (for the most part). There's always a few hiccups on a project like coming up one fitting short. Lots of little details to putter with, such as worrying about new floor wood in the bed. Looks great !! A lot of hard work is paying off on the (soon-to-be) finished product !
I really love your relationship you have with your daughter it reminds me of my baby girl and me in my old shop. this was a very good video I enjoyed it a lot thanks for sharing look forward for more. looking at you from Phx. Arizona
Your making great memories with your daughter that she will never forget. My first car was in 72 a 67 Mustang and my Dad had a Craftsman timing light and dwell meter and I remember like it was yesterday him showing me how to use them. Great video.
I had a '64, that same color, years ago. It had the 292, with the granny gear 4-speed. Great old truck, I hope to have another one someday. For now, I have a more recent, small truck. It suits my needs, but doesn't have the character. Linda and I send our best to you and your family.
Such an amazing build. Love it. Can't wait to see it go down the road. I am always waiting for the next video to come out. From Triadelphia WV. Keep up the great work.
Today's message was on Joy and the look on Little Miss' smiling face after you got it running described what the Preacher Man got across to the congregation this morning.
YOU HAVE time to read these comments??...oK....here is one.....this channel and the videos in it NEVER fail to make me smile or laugh. The 'actors' in the videos in this channel are obviously some of the finest, good people in the USA. For 2 years now.....thanks for ALL of the entertainment!
I miss using a dwell & tach meter & timing lights. A vacuum gauge really comes in handy in setting carbs and valves, I have a feeling Lil' Miss loves her Pick-up. Thumbs up from Oklahoma , ...... Bob.
Hello from UK. Awsome job. Truck sound so beautiful and the same time so aggressive. I love American pickup and always was my dream have one. Keep doing what you love doing. Little Miss is so awesome doughter ,she likes helping you
"It would be quicker if I texted her!!" LOL I'll be down stairs watching vids, and be texting the wife upstairs! Beats going up all them stairs!! Been watching this from the start, excellent work sir! I was thinking about checking the power steering fluid, but AFTER the engine was shut off! And, glad someone else mentioned the exhaust tips first!
On a side note. My trusted mechanic friend told me NEVER use those uni set points as they burn up to easy. Always use genuine delco points and separate condenser(may have to do with the need for the actual wire going to condenser having something to do with the circuit that is needed). Worked for me. Nicely done. That 283 runs SWEET!
It's coming together nicely, I bet she's dragging you to the shop to work on it now. It's always more exciting when you can see the end of a project in sight, That's before the reality sets in that a project never really ends. LOL
Ha Ha, I've been watching Gibson63's vids all day after happening across them this morning, does some dammed good work that fella. So do you folks too, great to see that little beasty come to life.
Good job MrHevyshevy and Littlemiss! Truck sounds good. Love the way you added disc brakes to the front of you 66. You can't be too safe out there. The more stopping power the better. Trucks sits super low
Sounds pretty sweet! Never really been into low riders but that truck looks great with those mud tires on the back! Best of both worlds big tires and a low rider!
Just found ya cause I just bought a 66 impala with a 283. Was just checking out what people have done with this clearly underestimated engine but now I'm binging you bud lol nice that's a sick project to be able to share with your daughter 👍

Sounds nice and strong and boy oh boy you all nailed that stance. I tell by the laughing and giggling that someone is happy with it :)

I think the engine was pretty much her project (with guidance from Pa) and her delight was when it came alive for the first time.
