Thinking about you guys with all those Typhoons rolling in one right after another. Hope you are safe and well. Continued good luck on the build. Peace and Love, B Goat
Hopefully you have paid attention to other homes being built on youtube in Philippines. More often than not, the outside walls are cinder block which are covered by a thin layer of cement. No problem there... EXCEPT for how the cinder blocks are laid. They don't put any cement between blocks that are laying side by side, nor do they offset each layer by 1/2 block, both of which make those walls as flimsy as possible. Make them do it correctly or you'll have wasted your money.

The rain is definitely slowing us down
Been busy myself building several houses in Batanes these last few years. Curious what type of roof you are putting there. GI or Concrete?
less than 10 dollars a day? per person per day?
If I wasn’t building a house I could live comfortably on that but I’m used to living on the farm
is that what they are paid for building there. the going rate? is that the pay scale or is there a hierarchy and others paid more?
Skilled labor gets 600 php unskilled 500 php
@@JamesandKarenadventures thank you

I'll make sure it's done right. Thanks for that advice
