to the lady in the comments regarding citric acid: are you using granules/powder or LorAnns sour and tart liquid? I found this worked out best for me....
New subbie! Thanks for sharing your gift. Can you use any type of apple other than Granny Smith or is this the best one for candy apples? Also, what flavoring should I purchase for the traditional red?
Awesome tutorial! Sn: someone asked in the live comments about where to buy the hot plate she's using. I found it on Amazon for $99.. I typed in Burton hot plate
Ro, can you substitute the liquor for the water or add less water to the candy mixture? Heat will kill all alcohol so they will only get liquor flavor and not a buzz.
Ro, I tried this exact half recipe with this rose gold air brush. I found it hard to rotate the apples in the candy mixture. It was very hard to rotate. Any reason why it may have hardened so quickly?
Hey Ro, question love! How long will it take a apple to cool before being able to bag it? Also how long will it last being bagged without getting sticky?
You can’t wait between 5 to 10 minutes you can also test the Apple by touching it to make sure it has cooled down and then you can Bag it And placed in the refrigerator as long as you store your Apple Watch properly they can last a long time
Hello.... Im a new subbie. I am in heaven watching your videos.. You are amazing!!! I do have a question... If i dont have a stainless steel pot can i use another type until i can get one?
Gm comment on adding liquid to the mixture. From my experience cooking with alchohol the cooks off from the heat in the mixture. So like the instructor stated it may give you the flavor but not the effect of getting drunk. Just the nature of cooking with alcohol.
Hey Rochelle! Why the preference of using Granny Smith? Is it due to the color or quality? Apples have gotten expensive so I'm just wondering. Thanks for always giving us life!

Thank you and welcome to my channel.
Yes for the pot as long as it’s not a cheap thin pot that burns quickly.
@@YourSweetConnection thank you... 😘
What brand pot do you use?

When I add my flavor oils I get bubbles! I follow the cleaning process and I add a full dram to a full batch. Please help 😩
