😂😂 I know I have no subscribers here but it’s funny you say that because I do have a shirt that says that and I normally wear them when I teach at CAKE shows❤️❤️❤️I love y’all
Hey Ro! The Pink shimmer airbrush color is just beautiful, the airbrush color options are amazing. I've heard a tip about using them that helps delay the breakdown a little bit and also makes the metallic color pop a lil more. Instead of adding the airbrush color "directly" in the candy mix, add it to the water in the recipe and combine well...then add it to the pot. Candy apples are such a nostalgic treat that we've enjoyed for so many years, how fun to make them so many beautiful colors and themes. My guess is going to be a gorgeous Red. Have a "BOOtiful" day!!😜Big ((Hugs)) from Texas!!👻❤
Thank you! And thank you for sharing that, but I’ve down that same technique and to be honest it’s not much of a difference. I’ve shown this method in a older video and from my experience it’s still the same. It’s really how you store package them and store them.
@@YourSweetConnection Yes, exactly the packaging and storing makes all the difference. Living in Texas, where the humidity is horrible most of the time, sometimes I'll add a cup of the Hi-Sweet powdered corn syrup to the recipe and it does make a bit of difference in the stickiness while storing in the frig. Love the standard recipe too! It's nice to have a couple of options in the arsenal. LOL Thanks for all the fun ideas!! Big ((Hugs)) xx : )
I read where you should only use a tablespoon of the coloring, too much color will cause the candy to breakdown. I will try making some using the tablespoon only method this weekend.
Ro, you make the most beautiful apples! I'm torn between wanting to eat all of them and wanting to just put them each on little pedestals to admire as art!
@@YourSweetConnection are you having any upcoming Hands-On classes in the Atlanta area? My daughter has been cooking since she was 8 years old and she's very inspired by you we both want to attend one of your classes! If so do you have a link that you can provide that can give us information? Thank you so much and God bless
I love your apples so much! I really want to try making them myself but I'm scared because I have terrible history with candy making. You are the Queen of candy apples!👑
Don’t be afraid! I burned myself a couple of years ago and was scared to try again. But I tried again and I was pleasantly surprised that they came out great! I ended up making over 70 apples in one evening! Follow Ro’s tips and recipes and I promise you will do great! You’ve got this!
Oh my this video answered like every question I ever had about the problems i was having when making candy apples . Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Thanks Ro . Tede
I just made a batch of these for V-day for my kids. I used a metallic red and cinnamon flavor. This recipe was so easy to follow and so FUN!!! I just posted on my FB page and shared this vid with my followers. Thank you!!! XOXOXXOXOX
Thanks Ro.. you the Goat! I think I know why I get a drip from the top of the apple every now and than after I dip them. I have my apples tilted to wipe the mixture off the bottom of the apples, instead of bringing it straight up after I dip than wipe the bottom. I be moving so fast, so the mixture don’t harden up on me🤦🏽♀️
Boil some water in it and it melts the candy mixture then let it sit a little to cook down then pour it out for me I also let it sit in dish after after to melt the candy on the top of the pot also
Hey Ro. Long time follower, but took a break from making candy apples. Came back to your page for inspo and see that in some of your more recent videos, you put the coloring 1st when typically you used to put it in at the very end once the mixture reached 300°. Does it just no longer matter or is it because of the airbrush coloring?
Hey Ro, I want my next batch to be metallic... wondered about using the teaspoon of this metallic pink plus 1 teaspoon of metallic red for a deeper (hot) pink results? Thanks for all your tutorials-I ain't weber you are, but I ain't where I was either. 😂
These particular apples can last as long as you want them as long as they are properly storage, you can package them and placed them in the refrigerator as long as you make the mixture correctly and you can do them two days in advance and place them in your refrigerator until it’s time for the party Just make sure your fridge is not too cold, if it is, it will crack your apples
Hola un gusto me ha encantado ver el procedimiento de sus manzanas pero no me salen igual y es ahí cuando ya me desánimo amiga la admiro mucho muchísimos éxitos
Hi, thanks for the video, your apples are beautiful.. I followed the recipe and the mixture came out beautiful. However my mixture didn't harden can you tell me what I did wrong?
Silly question…is it better to make them the day of the event or the night prior? If night prior do they stay in the fridge? Your work is Beautiful & Amazing

Absolutely love your work!!! What is that tropical punch clear liquid you used - is that to make the flavor pop more?
Thank you it is flavor to enhance the candy apple
What do they taste like. Do you add favoring?
Wow
What's the best way to clean the pot once dipping is complete?
Boil some water in it and it melts the candy mixture then let it sit a little to cook down then pour it out for me I also let it sit in dish after after to melt the candy on the top of the pot also
Can you do apple slices as well?
Amazing as always

Hello, this video is awesome...... could you use this airbrush food color in cakes as well.
Thank you!❤️ yes absolutely!
Does it matter the pot type? My candy hardens quickly and I’m very meticulous so I’m following recipes to a T.
Simply Gorgeous
Amazing
Thanks
Hi... I have a question... How much flavor u put in the mixture..? N the apples needs to be at room temp or cold..?
Hey Ro, I want my next batch to be metallic... wondered about using the teaspoon of this metallic pink plus 1 teaspoon of metallic red for a deeper (hot) pink results?
Thanks for all your tutorials-I ain't weber you are, but I ain't where I was either. 😂

Can i use edible paint (metallic) for my apple's
What is the self life for these kind of candy apple I was thinking about making some two days before my great niece 1st birthday party

Great job! Can you do a video on how you package your apples for your customers?
I think metallic Orange 🍊 is next 😊
Silly question…is it better to make them the day of the event or the night prior? If night prior do they stay in the fridge? Your work is Beautiful & Amazing
