It’s very sad and heartbreaking to hear how these politicians are milking Nigeria dry. A country with poor education were students have been on strike for 9 months, no good hospitals, 2nd recession within 5 years, poverty and hunger at all time high. Doctors and teachers not paid their salaries. The elderly, disabled and the children who are the most vulnerable in the society not provided for. No light, no good roads and no security. It’s very sad and heartbreaking to hear how these politicians are milking Nigeria dry. A country with poor education were students have been on strike for 9 months, no good hospitals, 2nd recession within 5 years, poverty and hunger at all time high. Doctors and teachers not paid their salaries. The elderly, disabled and the children who are the most vulnerable in the society not provided for. No light, no good roads and no security. Now they are trying to clamp down on freedom of speech. Honestly I am exhausted thinking of Nigeria.

Sister Adeola, thanks for the good work you have doing. Good position from the governor. Yes, where's the justification that one works all the days of his/her life and retires only to go home without being paid the pension. A governor enters power, never worked or contributed anything to the public but being a governor maybe highest 8 yrs is getting paid pension and gets this payment when other pensioners get nothing. Governorship is a political position and why would they get pension in addition to the public purse they pocketed before going out of the office. Re this episode, I've always maintained that Nigeria or the African continent is not fit for democracy. Seriously, it should be scrapped!!!! Until politics is made very less attractive then the whole of the African continent ain't going nowhere/moving forward!! Hence why they throw parties celebrating political appointments upandan. Here in the western world, if anyone is appointed for any political position, they know say na wahala be that cos it is serious work they are required to do and they carry it out diligently cos of the passion they have to SERVE. But noooo in Nigeria, they will take aso ebi and have a funfair. What a nation😒😢😢😢I have never heard of any one in Nigeria in any power of authority tendering a letter of resignation....Never!!!!!!!! Here in the UK sometime last year a whole MP ran just few minutes late to a sort of a town hall meeting. The man tendered his resignation following the incident stating that he's let his people down by not turning up on time for the mentioned meeting but obviously, his colleagues and the speaker of the house rejected his resignation.
