Oof that sounded very painful. I had similar stomach pain twice before. It was so painful I couldn't stand up. Once when I was in highschool, and another when I was in my 30s. It disappeared after less than a day tho. Until now I have no idea what caused them.
When Polka collabed w/ Subaru the other day, she mentioned that she called for an ambulance for the first time in a long time.
It was also a problem with her stomach hurting like hell. Hospital suggested that she schedule a CT scan.
Subaru got angry at her because Polka didn't take the suggestion seriously thinking that it would fix itself.

That sounds more like gallstones than gastroenteritis.. (form experience, I was misdiagnosed once)
I was thinking the same, gastroenteritis is not as painful as gallstones pain, that's even an emergency if not treated 😢

We must thank the WAHmbulance for bringing Da Baby to the WAH (We Are Hospital). The nurse Tako and Dr. Walter A. House (Dr. WAH) did the best they can to make sure Da Baby is safe

They only have to pay 30% of the bill cause the Japanese Government covers the other 70%
My parents had to call an ambulance and it only costed them like 20 dollars, vs America's 800 USD.
Man, why do so many Japanese hospitals close for holidays?
Anything that's not an emergency is done on normal working days. Emergencies are a different matter, and patients entering the ER are always handled 24/7.
Anyway, always inform the hospital that it's an emergency if you're in a similar (or worse) situation. You shouldn't even have to call ahead. If they're understaffed for some reason they should automatically reroute you to the closest hospital with available lab techs and other relevant personnel. Calling ahead sometimes makes things worse: the main number's usually the main desk/triage phone, and those guys would sometimes forget to ask you if you're dealing with an emergency.
@@alcor4670 She said that despite calling for an ambulance, she still had to look for a hospital that would take her. Clearly, their ERs were not functioning.

General rule of thumb, never eat sushi from Service Stations. I doubt Luna got it from there, but she did get it from something, most likely some seafood that hadn't been handled properly by a chef.
