I don't know if the gear is cheap, but I'd toss those reels in the water. I say the same thing to people who use centerpins. "Why?" OTOH, nice kings and cool video! Oh, and love how you can use 2 rods. I only WISH we could do that down here in Washington in the salt. Every time out, I want to run at least 2 different thins.
It's a 9'-6" med/heavy. I have the same issue, Can't always tell when a little shaker or sole is hanging on especially if the rod is cranked down too hard while it's in the holder. Other then that it's been a great rod for 2 seasons so far!
Awesome vid, love seeing the hit in the rod holder. Hopefully your content can get me through the long winter till I’m back up there in the spring!
I want to bring my kayak up there, such amazing condition
You should, I'd show ya the spots! I saw a few people kayak fishing this summer, some quite successfully!
@@WestcoastCondition See you next season

Thanks man! I miss it out there already

hand cranks that's real salmon fishing.
What length is that wilderness my 9 ft is a good road but it's medium heavy so the smaller pinks I barely feel.
