You are just biased. Torress failed to win in Venice which has more global appeal, why would she win in Hollywood which more focused on English speaking movies? Weak argument you made.
I actually haven't seen the movie yet, so I'm not personally invested in seeing her win. I think a better argument for her at one of the top 2 positions is she would be in the strongest movie of all of the contenders. That being said, this race is pretty wide open, and several other outcomes such as Jolie or Kidman would make sense as well.
