I'll never forget "discovering" them with this performance one night just flipping the channels on tv and there they were. I was hooked from the first note, been a fan ever since that night. It's weird, if I'd been flipping the channels in the other direction I might not even know who they are today, glad I flipped in the right direction. It was my density, I mean my destiny.
Don't EVER let this video leave UTUBE again! Too bad the intro from Letterman is removed. Hats off to the Video and audio crew on the master quality recording! Use headphones of quality to hear this one! -WESTCOASTBOARDER-
Run and see them live wherever you are! they are touring with their 4th record at the moment. They are young and from Southampton but their music has no age and no country.
Tight:D I really love the paired singing and the arangement. I can't believe Letterman didn't ask the drummer if he owned his drums or if they were rentals. Those drums took a hell of a beating. ua-cam.com/video/M65Dx0STe2M/v-deo.html
YIKES!!!!! FYI....I meant the original recording in its quality....shoulda listened all the way thru first....crap, where is the comment delete button? Anybody know of a link to the ORIGINAL? I'm gunna archive it. Leave the link?...thanks! -Westcoastboarder-
We love band of skulls ! If any of you are inspiring musicians with the same style as band of skulls then contact me so I can hear some of your music and also discuss working with you at our studio in Southampton which is their home town ! chris@Riverstudios.co.uk www.riverstudios.co.uk/
Good players and good show but very average songs. Hence why they have never really had a single or album hit. Like a poor man’s white stripes , royal blood etc
No.Their whole work has parts like this. And because they are sometimes slowing down together it shows that this is indeed intentional . a fantastic band- meanwhile without the drummer , sadly .
I discovered them when I saw this Letterman show on tv. Blew me away, and still does! You must see their official video if you haven't.

And Emma is now a Pixies' one...Band of skulls sends a lot of energy and harmony while it's a power trio, and she is perfect with the Pixies too
I mean Frank Black knows where the good vibes are...😅
the singer is playing both the guitar and the drums, now thats talent
No he isn’t…
That guitar is a work of art. Neil Young has a white one he's had forever. This power trio rocks nicely.

That guitar solo was fucking sick
That drummer pounds the shit out of those drums.
She’s playing bass for the pixies now.

This is where Royal Blood got their sound.
aw c'mon guys! this band needs some encouragement, they're good, let's have some more views!!
Hints of Neil Young Crazy Horse Power- this song is one of many keeping real Power Rock alive- their FIRES song kicks it
they're from Southampton. I ran into them once and they told me they like one of my songs they heard o.O
Love the sound he gets outta that huge old dinasour turd of a guitar!

David knows his bands give it to him 1st for that
1:40 what happened there
He depressed his whammy bar a bit resulting in a slight drop in pitch

Drummer speeds up way too much. Other than that, killer performance.

Joey, this band intentionally uses pace changes. if you listen closely you will notice that the band stays tight as fuck . This is pure art.
No he doesn’t.
