Lawn Tips cheers mate, bit patchy in some spots gave it an overseed again after 12 days so hopefully starts to thicken up nicely. Not up to your level yet but working on it, the bloody seagulls are doin my head in as soon as I overseeded the thin spots they were all over it like a hot chip 😡

For the stains on the walls from the humic products, I have found potassium hydroxide to be an effective solvent. After all, it is the chemical used to extract humic acid from leonardite shale and soil humus. I use it sometimes in my Ortho hoseend sprayer to get the humic acid stains out. A couple swirls and it's clean. Will not harm the lawn or any plants.

I don’t think heat lamps are too bad. Lots of people leave them on boat motors all winter instead of winterizing them.

It will help with photosynthesis, you are correct. There are a few studies and articles on the topic actually.

Might be a silly question but can you get the stripes from using just a normal mower? Would you just adjust the height?
There is nothing that feels like freshly cut reel clippings in your hands! I compare it to really well screened soil, they both have such unique characteristics and smells. Yard looks awesome! Are you gonna overseed in the winter?

Usually a 90-10 or 80-20 mix is great.

Mate, if you wanted it at 15mm, could you over cut to maybe 13 or 14, and feed and water til 15 greens up?
Yep I 100% could. I actually talk about that in a lot of vids. Especially the TifTuf ones. Just trying to decide if I want to since it’s cooled off so much haha.

Quick Question. I'm planning on spoon feeding once a week with 0.25lb of N on a newly seeded lawn. About how long after initial germination should I wait before I start feeding? I just worry about burning it since the plants are so young.
I'd wait until you've done a cut.

There is quite a few options. Something with High N, or another I've been trialing is called Fertech Bio. Has some triacontanol which helps increase lateral growth.
Is the green considered to be on your neighbours property? If so, how’d you about convincing them to let you plonk it there?
It's both of our properties. Half half. I asked and they were very happy to let me look after the patch. Less work for them!
