Nice double vid in 24 hrs. Keep the Kikuyu you got plenty of area over in the par 3 pasture to have more hybrid varieties an can do like small test plots or something
Looks amazing for winter! I’m following all the way from South Africa and love how comparable the climate is🇿🇦 Definitely keep the Kikuyu/rye mix, keen to see how it progresses as I’m thinking of doing the same over-seeding next winter on my Kikuyu. Love the channel!
Would love to see a QLD blue or Aussiblue project. Such a stunning turf when maintained, strips up like nobody’s business and the softest leaf under foot Ive ever felt for a warm season turf, it can also handle low cuts 5mm-35mm and it’s holding its colour for me this winter really well so far
Love the rye over sow. Did it this year on my kikuyu, pretty happy with it. Love the look of rye. How hard is it to maintain in summer? Does it need loads more water than kikuyu? What are the other main pressure points?
Looking mint bro love the 2 videos in a 2days what happened to the Airbnb idea?? Just random jumped into my head would be a cool idea still i reckon also should be hitting up old mate LCN and ryan knorr to be coming over for a visit since you went all the way to see them a few years ago or maybe you do another usa tour🤔🤣
Havnt really seen any aussi lawn youtubers or instagramers do Ryegrass only all year around. Feel like thats whole different beast and would be harder to achieve in hotter locations. Plenty of Americans do it but wanna see an aussi do it.
I live in the Riverina area, and a lot of people have Kikuyu lawns. Seeing what you do with your Kikuyu lawn is really helpful.

Bring on some short cut fescue in a relatively shaded area just to add one more thing to the mix 👌

Similar to a few comments, love following along and trying to mirror what you do with your kik, so would prefer that to stay!
Keep the Kikuyu out the front there mate. It’s looking fantastic with the over-sow
G’day Ben another great vid mate! Just wondering where you get the music for your videos?
Try Yukon seeded couch hybrid, has some cold tolerance.

Man go TifTuf at 1/4 inch. Oh wait, 6mil ish. Lol. Ya know its awesome.
Looking great. Unfortunately i lost my colour in my lawn lol.
Bummer!
Would love to see the kikuyu stay Ben! Do you know what variety of kikuyu it is? Is it Whittet?
Go 100% Rye once you get underground sprinklers
Don’t tempt me

Airbnb is running man! Has been going for over 12 months. Definitely want to have some people over for collabs!

That’s what my old house was actually. Straight rye 👌🏽
If you go back to the vids from 2018-2020 it’s all rye
Rye grass/ Kikuyu = ryu ?
I didnt think that you could apply liquid fertilizer straight after a mow? I thought you had to wait 2 or 3 days+?
You definitely can 👌🏽
It’s more herbicides you need to be careful with
Probably been asked before, but what do you do for work outside of UA-cam?
