- MEC516/BME516 Fluid Mechanics Chapter 1: The solution of a problem involving the calculation of the viscous shear stress of a fluid on a rotating cone. The fluid's dynamic viscosity is linearly related to the shaft torque on this instrument. There is also a short video at the end, showing a commercial viscometer used to measure dynamic viscosity of fluids.
