I’m eating Italian street food in Rome, Italy with Bobby from @LivingBobby ! Italy has the best street food in the world: it is very delicious, high quality and very cheap!
We will be trying the top 20 street foods in Italy. Here are the foods we ate:
Breakfast:
- Cornetto
- Cappuccino
- Maritozzo
- Veneziana
Market (Mercato di Testaccio)
- Carcioffi
- Tripa sandwich (panino)
- Polpete
- Crochetta
- Pasta crescia
- Zucchini flower
Lunch
- Pasta carbonara
- Pasta Cacio e Peppe
- Pasta Matagliata
Gelato (Italian ice cream):
- Crema
- Pistacchio
Snacks:
3 absolutely delicious suppli (a fried rice ball similar to Arancini, but even better in my opinion, it is the most famous street food from Rome)
Diner:
Porchetta Sandwich. Italy is very famous for its sandwiches (“Panini”) and there are very famous sandwich shops like All’Antico Vinaio in Florence. My favorites sandwiches are found by going to a Norcineria (some kind of butchers’ shop) and asking them to make you a sandwich! It’s so cheap and delicious!

I'm italian and i love when foreigners come here and enjoy the food!
Italian cusine is one of the most imitated in the world so it allways make me smile when someone try the real autentic products that my country can offer.
Remember to come back and allways try different things, every region has tons of traditional dishes to try and they are all delicious!
Hello!! That means a lot to me, I really tried to find the best products! And yes, I'll be back!! I've been to Italy a LOT since I'm from France and I keep coming back :)
unpopular opinion: cornettos are better than croissants
also they both originate from the austrian kepfler but the cornetto was born like 200 years prior, so if anything croissaints taste like cornettos :P
Not that unpopular, I 110% agree. I prefer the sweetness of cornetto to the butteriness of croissant
agreed....Italian food is MUCH better than French.....
From the food to learning how to cook pasta, this was such the best day! Great video Lucile :D
:D Thank you for being here!!
Loved to see the variety of Italian food! Apart from the popular foods, pasta etc., the other foods were delicious as well!
Yess, it's fun to try less known street foods!
I feel like as soon I start watching any of your food videos, I get hungry immediately.keep going, have fun!✌️👆👍
Italy has the BEST food in Europe...period. Nobody comes close!!
you must be in heaven its too good
Karolina protsenko is there, too, if you know her. She’s a violinist.
Awesome job Lucia.
thanks!!
No problem
It is a fantastic joy to view your content! I am always anxiously waiting for each episode of your life with the beautiful places and delicious food .
I need to go back to Italy! lol Thank you for the video Lucile and for bringing back some fond memories for me.
thank you so much for watching Dominique :)
4:48 that face when taking a bite of something that's awesome. ❤ I've only had tripe in menudo I've never seen it on a sandwich before.
Wonderful video, Lucille!
thank you for watching :)
Another great video. Keep up the good work
thank you!!
So many interesting places,a couple who makes pasta together stays together. Thanks for the good vibes.wish I was there.I love trying different foods and anything with cheese is always delicious. Thanks for taking me along on your journey again.be safe.
Thank you so much for watching Sabrina :) and yes, cheese is SO good!!
Always love your videos... Your adventures in food remind me of Anthony Bourdains shows
I'll just visit Italy for the food!!
Absolutely!! haha
E la moda
Judging by the look of that suppli' means that you went to buy it in one of the right places.
I'm very happy.
Everytime i see someone trying a medriocre supply bought in a tourist trap place my heart cries.
Oh thank you!! I need the real deal haha
Amazing
Thanks for watching :)
You always eat good foods
Always, i love doing these videos :)
suppli or arancini are super easy to make at home. I always make it at home like twice a month
Miam ! J'arrive 😊
hehe :)
The suppli looks delicious. Found some fried rice balls locally around me but on the menu they don't look the same. Fried rice with choice of meat and mozzarella and risotto. Maybe they'll taste better than they look in the picture. 🤞🤞
They could be arancini maybe? I hope they are good :)
Love from Meghalaya
Bravi e simpatici, complimenti.
pues un poco superficial la descripción, el cornetto puede tener crema de pistacho, pero según tradición seria de mermelada o pudding, a veces chocolate... pistacho es decir filosofia de rollos de canela
6:15 Both times I've been to Italy, I basically came to the conclusion that Gelaterias are to Italians what Starbucks coffee shops are to Americans. 😂
Always good to see you and Bobby together in video's .
Thank you.
I love just about everything you ate.. but I am worried about that tripe sandwich. Whenever you eat a part of the digestive tract, I worry. Am I eating it or is it eating me? Lol
Very worrying haha
please update the map i need these places
Nice🗿👍🏻
thank you for watching :)
The no of times you said herbs 😂
it could be a drinking game haha so many herbs in italy
If pistacchio was not your favourite why didn't got cream filling or chocolate or nutella or jam? Every bar or café have cornetti with many filling or even empty.
The most common filling was jam, since forever, then came crema pasticciera (custard), chocolate cream or nutella.
it's my favorite and we usually share foods with Bobby so he had to eat it haha but nutella is very good too!!
@@LucileHR So you're the one who decide. 🤣 No surprise. The filling I like the most is crema pasticcera (Crème Pâtissière, similar to custard)... breakfast with cornetto alla crema and caffé nero its the top.
[Pistakkio] please, not "pistacchio".
In italian "chi"-"che" Is [ki]-[Ke] that work for any italian Word.😉
it always hurt me a little when I hear someone saying "pistacchio"
pronunciation: PISTAKKKKKKKKKKKKKIO not pistascio :P
Cacio e pepe
Supli
Carciofi
Tripa
The "cheeese" is mozzarella
Grazie :)
@@LucileHR
Con piacere :)🤙

Oops! ☝️😉 sbagliato
I know you have a boyfriend but you look fabulous lucile ❤
Okkay 😆😆
Call mozzarella, cheese its not appropriate 😂
sorrrryyy I'm French I call everything cheese haha
Well, she was not wrong, since mozzarella is a kind of cheese.
It's just that we Italians call each cheese by its proper name...
maritozzo aint puff pastry
1st
As always lol! Are you a robot? haha
after so much of pastries, how come the general Italians are average or slim built. Dont tell all are going to gym.
It's a matter of balanced quantity. We don't eat everything you see every day. Just occasionally, then go for a walk.
The day any English speaking person will learn how to pronounce Pistacchio the sun will explode... Jeez!! 🤣🤦♂
Be careful of what you wish I've been learning Italian for a few years so I can say it "pistakkio" too haha :)
@Lucile Hernandez Rodriguez Then do it, please. It makes our poor Italian ears bleed every time we hear it mispronounced 😁😂😊
info: when you have cacio e pepe the cheese is always Pecorino Romano
yum, I love Pecorino Romano :D
I live in Rome and our cuisine is made up of simple yet special things! happy to know that you had a good time 😃 The supplì with stringy mozzarella is also called "Supplì on the phone" because it recalls the wire of old telephones! ❤
Ohhh I love that nickname!!
It's pistakkio not pistaccio. LOL
true!!!
