I am also retired like you and love my Model 60 with a pinned barrel. I also have a Model 34, a .22 LR snub with fully adjustable rear sight as a companion to my Model 60..

I always chuckled at that. I loved his stories but he and I disagreed on personal carry. What you just said in this video has been my mantra since forever. I carry a cheap five-shot 38 spl. snubby revolver that will go bang with just a pull of the trigger. I have always advocated a small revolver for concealed carry for all the reasons you just mentioned. I have had hardened gun experts argue with me on all these points but I have always "stuck to my guns". Very nice video!
Retired cop, you are correct. Most people won't carry a heavy pistol. I carry a keltec 380 for 15yrs and goes everywhere with me in my pocket. Now in my house or my vehicle I have something a little more substantial. Great video with lots of common sense.
I carried a little Keltec 3at for many years and found it to be exactly what I needed. I carry a revolver most days. Once in a while I might carry something else but rarely.
This is why I prefer a revolver over a semi-auto for home and personal defense. Except for a hammer lock hole (which I don't use), there are no safety features in a revolver that I have to think about before using it to protect my home and my loved ones.
I liked what you had to say. I got an air weight 38 SW for $350 dollars. But man these revolvers are getting very expensive. What up with these prices.
Ruffle them feathers. I like that you started out with a .32, which is a rather underrated caliber. It’s a great low-recoil option for people who want a snubbie but aren’t ready for the feel of a .38.
And in the case of the LCR, you get 6 rounds in the same compact lightweight package, besides the ability to fire 4 different cartridges in the same caliber.
I've carried personally and professionally for over thirty five years. I've owned and carried dozens of pistols. I agree with your assessment. Carry something comfortable that you have trained with extensively. These days it's a Ruger 9mm revolver or a Sig Sauer p232. Stay safe and thank you for your entertaining and informative videos.
By far ... the best and most credible vid I have seen on this topic. I have just recently switched EDC Glock 26 for a Kimber K6s (.38sp) for these very reasons and I am training, training and training from 20' in to 6'. Thank you, GC. Now a subscriber.
Howard Schwartz, I like your choice of revolver. I carry an lcr 357 mag for the weight to tame the recoil of 38spl plus P 110 grain critical defense. However, I have been giving some serious thought to the 327 mag with the same ammo you carry.
Most of my pistols are too bulky for summer carry. I recently bought a Springfield 911 but my wife thought it was cute and pretty much adopted it. I'm getting a ruger lcr soon. Pocket size, reliable and not cute so my wife won't want it.
This is 4 years old but I commend the hell out of you. You're right it is your channel. Just turned 60. Making the switch to revolvers from semi-autos.
I had an instructor once tell me his way of practicing a revolver reload. At his range though. Have your reload in your pocket or wherever you carry the speedloader. Shoot your 5 or 6 rounds at about 5 to 7 yards. Then without looking at your revolver { he would close his eyes on his range] empty the spent casings, acquire your reload, load them and then shoot those rounds. He said this was a fairly realistic situation in a defensive shooting because you never want to lose sight of your opponent. Of course I brought up the "peripheral vision" situation, and he thought that was not something you can truly depend on in a real defensive scenario. We had lots of discussions about that.
Hey my friend, I only carry 2 guns as my concealed carry weapons. My 3" Colt King Cobra .357 magnum or my Rossi .38 special 5 shot revolver. Sometimes I carry both depending on where I am going and the part of town I am going to be in. I really like my Rossi .38 special. I carry it more than any other gun I own. I agree with you on the snub nose revolvers making excellent concealed carry weapons. Then again I am like revolvers. Excellent video! Take Care!
Just saw this and I too, favor a snubbie. Most people go with S&W J frames, or the Rugers, but I have found that Charter Arms offers alot of snubbies that can vie for top dogs. I have two of their pistols and love them both. The first one is a 5 shot .38 called the Southpaw that is directly made for us left handed shooters. The other is a .45 acp 5 shot snub that does not require moon clips. I carry one of the two every day when I go out.. Their line up is awesome and they have a life time repair setup. Plus, they are reasonable in price.
I have the southpaw too and I love it. Got the g10 grips installed and a steel trigger guard off ebay to replace the polymer one. This thing is accurate, feels great in the hand and is/ was super affordable.
Perfectly said. I agree 100% I carry that LCR like yours. You are absolutely correct. Bigger and heavier guns usually stay in the safe. I usually make excuses not to carry my Glock 19. I don't think twice when I grab my LCR. Light and comfortable. We all just need to carry. Just choose a firearm that will be comfortable for you. If its too big and heavy, you just wont carry it. Trust me I know. Also make sure you practice with it. Great video my friend !!
My go to concealed carry is a German-made EAA Windicator, 38 Special. It is not the lightest revolver out there but it is well-made and dependable. I like the fact that there is always a round ready to go and little to go wrong with the gun.
I’m glad you made this video. This is exactly what guys like Darryl Bills, Chuck Haggard and Claude Werner preach. Civilians need to protect against assault and robbery 99.99% of them time and only need to make a break in contact. This little guns and sub caliber guns are perfect. Those who plan to assault a structure obviously have other things to consider. Very thoughtful and informative.
I agree mostly with your opinion, I've carried snub nose for years S&W airweight in a soft Holster as I type this stuck deeply in my pocket ( baggy Carhart logger jeans). I consider it to be my first and up close and personal gun. ( the hey buddy have you got a light stand by). All said my 45 Glock 30 goes along too in my coat or vehicle depending on season . One thing I have noticed is that pocket lint can hamper the trigger reset spring thus rendering my J frame a single shot and now I take preventive care. These guns are great for women and probably any caliber will suffice, no rapist will accomplish his sickening deed with blood squirting out of his gut. Regardless of what caliber made the hole.
For conceal and carry I recommend 38 special or 380, both have enough power without the over penetration. If you have to shoot in a public place or for home defense the last thing you want is a stray round flying down the street or into the your neighbors house.
From Georgia here, carried every thing under the sun for the past 14 years my s&w model 36 or detective special is my constant companion. Especially in summer, even went to a water park in swimming trunks once and had my smith in a cargo pocket 😂. Keep them clean and they are good to go. Loved the no nonsense way you delivered the point by the way.
For the "average person" a little snubbie is all that you need. MOST people are just average people. I had the aluminum alloy versions for a while but shooting them was just too painful for my little hands. I finally had to go to something a little heavier with all steel construction. The S&W model 36 works perfectly for me.
I'm A retired cop. Now 77 years old, and no longer required to look for trouble. I started out having to buy my own duty weapon (revolver) but eventually transitioned to semiautomatics. I always carried a snubby as my back-up. It came in handy at times. Now the Ruger LCR 38+P will do anything I need it to do. Besides, it is fun to shoot. I have others, bigger or same size, but this is my favorite. If you practice, you won't need anything else.
I hate it when you're right! Having said that, I was bummed that you didn't have a Chiappa Rhino shown. That's my EDC revolver, when I'm not carrying my XDs .45.
I agree, I carry a 22mag and it is plenty. I can shoot through heavy cloth and out the other side of a trying pan . Plus it is crazy loud with the cci maxi mag. anything that can shoot up to two miles has to be effective.
I admit that I feel more comfortable with a higher capacity semi on my hip but I do put a SW 638 in the cubby hole of my vehicle right under my radio. If someone walks up to my car, I can get to my snubby much quicker than I can get my tool off of my hip. The snubby will hopefully get the attacker away from my window and give me the few seconds that I need to reach my main EDC. I really do love revolvers, though. They're awesome!
@@ChiefX07 well. I went back and reaatched the entire video just like I did once before. It seems that I do not get the point that you are trying to make. Can you please explain? What did I miss?
Wow this a great video. I'm 43 and have been into guns And shooting since I was 10. I've owned and carried just about everything in twenty something years of carrying openly and concealed. This includes a brief time I worked as a bounty hunter. I think this man's advice is spot on. I agree with everything in this video. That said my preferred handgun for personal defense is a revolver. My Taurus 605 357 snub nose is a great gun. At 24 ounces it's not an air weight but it's no a boat anker.either. it's easy to carry and conceal in just shorts ND t shirt. And like this man states because it's so small And easy to carry it's ALWAYS with me. That really is one of the most important things, have a gun. I've had a lot of training with guns and am proficient with many types. However I'd prefer to not have to sorry about flipping a safety off during a life And death situation. Fine motor skills, and other things go out the window with an adrenaline dump. I've needed my weapon to Dave my life,a few times. And I can tell you despite how much you train And practice swiping off a safety. You MAY not under severe stress And addrenline. Plus for me and my body type a revolver be it a 3",4"or a 2"snub nose. They all conceal and carry better for me than any semi auto pistol I've tried. I feel perfectly safe and fine with my Taurus 605 snub nose loaded with 5 rounds of 357 magnum hollow points. I feel as someone who doesn't have to go after ND arrest people any more,it's all I really need to just go about my daily routine.
Kahr. Double action trigger is also on some SW microcompacts. Was considering wheel gun like Taurus 905 or LCR, but after seeing how thin Kahr is along with super smooth trigger (smoother than wheel guns!) it's hard to argue for wheel gun.
I am the same way I carry my stubby as edc and when I go out of town I'll carry my 1911 with me in addition to the stubby but the stubby is my first draw
I like my LCR because it can go anywhere! Fits in a pocket holster, no printing. Also great as a trainer for the family. My 9 yr old said it's his favorite at the range.
Yep. My ccw is a LCR in 327 magnum, usually with 32 H&R in it. The house gun is a 12 gauge pump. If you watch that video from the shooting that Jack Wilson stopped in Texas, the first victim actually tried to pull his gun but it hung up on his clothing. My LCR doesn't do that.
Yep, I still prefer wheel guns over auto's even though these days majority will choose an auto and round count....Belly gun will always be for me in a wheel gun....Good points.....Good stuff....
I daily carry a ruger lcr in .327 federal magnum. I got it as a gun that both me and my wife could carry (shes very recoil sensitive). So I figured I would carry it with .327 or .32 magnum and she would with .32 s&w long. But now I actually carry it with .32 long as well. After seeing some tests of buffalo bore's hardcast wadcutter load, I think it's enough. That thing gets 16 inches of penetration in gel after going through 4 layers of denim. And it has almost zero recoil, its like .22 mag recoil. I can handle the .327 and .32 mag fine, but I cannot shoot it as quickly and accurately as I can the .32 long. Getting shots quickly where they need to go beats caliber any day imo.
Plus 1 for revolvers.. I am a fan of the Ruger 327 Federal. (LCRx).. Light, incredible trigger. Practice with any of the 4 cartridges out of the same gun. 327, 32 H&R, 32 S&W Long, 32 S&W Short.
You definitely spoke the truth about the weight of the gun if it’s to heavy you’re probably not going to carry it iam a senior citizen And the smith and Wesson snubby 637 is the greatest gun ever always remember shot placement is the key not how many shots your revolver is
Love my Taurus 605 5 shot .357, tiny cannon...my .380 Bodyguard is a good worker too. Got a Taurus 85 5 shot revolver in .38, another great machine. Charter Arms . 44 Special Bulldog if I am feeling especially froggy.
Tiny cannon indeed!! Bought one for Christmas in 2019. Kicks like a mule with the .357 rounds. Felt very comfortable with the .38's. I'd say, $300 well spent.
Living in Wisconsin being both an open carry & concealed carry state,.. & being cold 3/4's of the year I can carry pretty much any firearm I want. I do carry my Smith model 649 .357 snubby, the "Humpback" snag free with the option of cocking for a head shot, but I feed it .38 special plus P's for carry. But I carry 1911's too, ...alot. From my 3" barrel models to a commander size, & I carry a Browning Hi-power alot also. Their thin, light, can be carried IWB very easy. I often carry a 4" barrelled 5 shot .45 colt revolver in a high ride Speedmaster Galco holster no problem. We wear untucked flannels, sweat shirts & coats. I love a snubby, but you can carry any reasonable gun concealed. Options,... the American way !
I don’t have a snubby quite yet, but I do carry a 4” Ruger Police Service Six. I’m not worried about needing more than six rounds, and I like the security in not worrying about jams. In case of failure, just pull the trigger again and BANG. Simple, no safeties to worry about under stress. Loved the video
I've watched hundreds of gun reviews and this video is by far one of my favorites, nothing but truth, logic and common sense. I work from home, shuttle my kids around to friends houses and different activities, go to the grocery store and a restaurant here and there and go to church on Sundays. I carry the Taurus 605 and am looking into possibly getting the LCR 357 DA only for pocket carry in the summer where I wear shorts 99% of the time. I do own a few semi-autos and love shooting them but for my lifestyle a 5 shot snubbie is all I need for edc. It drives me nuts when I hear these tactical commando guys on UA-cam saying a 5 shot revolver is no good or will get you killed. I don't think I'll be getting jumped by 10 ninjas anytime soon when going to church or the grocery store so I think I'll stick with my 5 shot snubbie.
Your video was informative and very str8 forward. Loved it. And u settled the caliber debate going on in my head. I totally agree. And have seem what a 22 lr can do. Its def enough for self defense
Finally someone with some common sense👍🏻 Anything can happen in a situation where you have to defend yourself. I'm 56 and have never been in any situation were I thought I would need a gun. I'm a hundred times more likely to get killed in a car accident or be hit by lightning and if I ever were to carry a gun it would be a snub nose revolver. They are Safe and Reliable whether you have a 22,32,38 or a 44spl most people would run away at the sound of any one of these👉🏻
The two guns I carry the most are my Shield and my LCR. Shield is my main gun. But when going out with friends or wearing more comfortable clothing it’s my LCR. Why? For all the reasons you stated. Sure I understand the capacity debate, and honestly I prefer more rounds with a quicker reload. But it’s so light and easy to carry I’d rather have five rounds with a speed loader with me, than 25 rounds sitting in my safe at home. The best option? No. A realistic option? Yes. Also in the winter I’ll carry this as a jacket gun with my SD9 VE in my belt. Why not?
Excellent video!!! Just purchased my very first revolver a Taurus 605 .357/.38 and I love it!! Only issue I see with it is the pistol grip is to small for my big hands. Just ordered a longer Hogue grips to put on it!!! Can’t wait to take it to the range!!!
I renctly traded my Ruger LC9s for a Taurus 856 stainless and I love it. The reason for the trade is Arthiritis which makes it nearly impossible for me to load a mag, while I can always load a revovler. I 've had several semi autos and some of the safety work opposite than others so I never knew if my safety was on or off. WIth my revolver, it's like you said, don't put your finger on the trigger unless you are ready to fire, and then it's bang bang bang. I use to own a Suoer Commachcee for my home protection and I liked it, but it was only one shot. I liked the thought of a 410 shot shell because they usually don't go through the wall to the next room. For indoor use, I liked it, but I traded it off too.
I don't know if you already bought a 327 mag, but if you haven't, I would advise against it. The reason is the ammo if far more difficult to find, and relatively expensive. I cautioned my friend not to get one, but he did anyways. Now he's sorry he didn't listen. But, of course, it's your decision.
That top break is AWESOME!! I love those. I can hear Holmes telling Watson to “bring your pistol”because the story is about to get dicey. Beautiful piece👊
I too spent 30 plus years in law enforcement to include 8 years in SWAT. I carry a Smith and Wesson 638 (5 shot .38 special) every day except Sunday. As part of our church security team, I carry a light weight 1911 with extra magazine under my suit jacket. I have never felt under gunned with either weapon. Thanks for the video.
Very good review , sir. But let me desagree with you about the caliber. As a police officer, I saw more than once, that the person continue to attack after been shot multiple times by 9mm from very close range. From what I seen, it usually go up to 8-10 of 9mm rounds till the attacker collapse . I talking here about higly motiveted attacker, terrorist or mentally disturbed person, sometimes on drugs/alcohol. If you deal with regular maggler , most of the times to see the gun/hear a shot is enough. Today, 22 LR today not considered be a proper SD round, nor 32 sp. Just my experience.
Very informative. I agree with everything you've said. I carry a S&W model 60 loaded with Federal 110 gr hydra shocks. Thanks for sharing. ( I just subscribed)
Another point worth consideration is that when a revolver is inside the waistband in a soft holster (comfortable), the cylinder is being compressed and makes the trigger INCREDIBLY hard to pull. An accidental discharge is virtually impossible compared to a semi-auto.
642 air weight, it’s my minimum carry gun and Always with me no matter what! Usually carry two guns Glock 26 and the 642 j-frame in pocket holster . The air weight 642 is the best all round carry gun with good power and extremely light but shootable with practice and dependable as the day is long . I love my sp101 .357 magnum snubs but I carry the air weight because its so light and I forget it’s in my pocket 😉🤩🇺🇸
I have nothing against revolvers as I own a smith and Wesson Airweight 38spl Model 637. It is a great gun! My only problem with revolvers is the ammo capacity. However my edc is a smith and Wesson M&P shield 9mm 2.0. 👍🏼🇺🇸👊🏼
My first carry firearm was a Smith and Wesson model 65 stainless steel, 4 inches barrel 357 magnun. I carry this gun for about 4 years. I do carry a pistol now, but I won't mind at all carrying a revolver. I'm in fact looking to get a revolver in 357 magnun to keep it at home or carrie it once in awhile. Love the caliber and the fact that I can use 38, 38+p, and of course 357. God bless

It’s too bad the .32 is so expensive. I too like the feel but went with .38 special just for price and availability.
Thanks for the video. I'm feeling better about my choice of a revolver for personal defense.
The Ruger LCR is one of my favorites. The trigger is smooth and you can stage it well
Awesome gun!
I purchased that for my wife. My EDC is 642 +p in pocket holster.
Just started packing a 38 Special. It is light comfortable unlike the heavier semi auto that I thought I needed. I agree with your assessments.
Thank you. Best of luck 👍
I am a wheel gun guy from way back and I agree with you 100 % .
Thank you. Stay safe
Fact Find Thanks for watching
The one I have is for the Glock 43, fits mine perfectly
Mr. FASTB621 Mare Island I’m very happy to have helped!
By far ... the best and most credible vid I have seen on this topic. I have just recently switched EDC Glock 26 for a Kimber K6s (.38sp) for these very reasons and I am training, training and training from 20' in to 6'. Thank you, GC. Now a subscriber.
Thanks. Much appreciated. Stay safe
I carry a ruger lcr 327 with 32 h&r magnum rounds. No recoil to speak of, one extra round , and on a par with 38+p with much less recoil.
Howard Schwartz, I like your choice of revolver. I carry an lcr 357 mag for the weight to tame the recoil of 38spl plus P 110 grain critical defense. However, I have been giving some serious thought to the 327 mag with the same ammo you carry.
I'm thinking of adding the LCR 327 to my carry options. Skeptical about the scarcity of this specific caliber but it really interests me.
Truth i never feel under armed with my 856 6 shot
That’s what I carry a lot of times too
Same here. when i dont carry it i carry a kahr cm 9. both handguns are 6 or 7 shots.
Thank you
Same for me.. I have Taurus 85 and SW 437, both 5 shot
Seems like a very realistic plan.
Take Care!
skoggit I love my Rossi 38 too. I hope you are safe and well my friend.
its hard NOT to like revolvers....they just work....and snubs are just great for concealed carry
I love my 38 442 Smith and Wesson Awesome to carry.
You are right , if you need more than three or four shots , you are in big trouble .
Thanks
Every time I think about replacing my .38 snubby, I watch the video of Jack Ruby shooting Lee Harvey Oswald with one using ammo available in the 60’s.
Coyote112 12 Will always be a great gun! Thanks
Agree with you totally sir. We need more common sense and reality in the gun/self defense community
Thanks very much
I also rotate my guns, but when I carry a revolver, I carry a Taurus, snub nose 327 federal magnum, 6 shot. Thanks for the vid.
Joseph Funaro Thank you
How you like the 327 Federal? I carry a LCR 357.
My go to concealed carry is a German-made EAA Windicator, 38 Special. It is not the lightest revolver out there but it is well-made and dependable. I like the fact that there is always a round ready to go and little to go wrong with the gun.
I’ve seen that gun. Built like a tank 👍
I like that that you keep your guns loaded. I do too.
Thanks very much
I agree mostly with your opinion, I've carried snub nose for years S&W airweight in a soft Holster as I type this stuck deeply in my pocket ( baggy Carhart logger jeans).
Thanks
👍
Very good video. I often carry snubbies and always enjoy them for their convenience and simplicity. Love a good wheel gun.
As you said, practice is the key. Thank you
I hate it when you're right! Having said that, I was bummed that you didn't have a Chiappa Rhino shown. That's my EDC revolver, when I'm not carrying my XDs .45.
InYourDefense The Rhino has been on my list for a while, I have to look into this more lol. Thanks buddy
I agree, I carry a 22mag and it is plenty. I can shoot through heavy cloth and out the other side of a trying pan . Plus it is crazy loud with the cci maxi mag. anything that can shoot up to two miles has to be effective.
👍👍
I admit that I feel more comfortable with a higher capacity semi on my hip but I do put a SW 638 in the cubby hole of my vehicle right under my radio. If someone walks up to my car, I can get to my snubby much quicker than I can get my tool off of my hip. The snubby will hopefully get the attacker away from my window and give me the few seconds that I need to reach my main EDC. I really do love revolvers, though. They're awesome!
I think u should watch entire video
At last, an informative accurate comment. Thank you!
Recently have been thinking along these lines a lot. 38 spl S&W has been my go to for the past month. Still carry a full frame semi on road trips.
One of the best guns around. Thanks
Is the LCR chambered in 9mm or 38 Special
@@CastironSteak7 mine is 38 special but they make them in a few calibers including 9mm.
Good vid. I usually carry my 642 with +P loads.Lite , simple, reliable etc. Have semi autos but prefer my snub revolver for carry.
.642 +p, pocket holster is my EDC
leebest1A 642 or LCR in .38spl, either seems sufficient to me.(so I have both)
I just brought a 642 and plan on using it as my back up carry gun in addition to my EDC. Two guns are better than one!
442 with pocket holster for me
Good stuff!
I carry a 605 Taurus 357 snubnose ,absolutely comfortable, with plus p rounds. This does the trick for me.
Yup it’s all you need and it’s what I carry every day. My edc is a air weight snubnose with 38 special +p 158 grain lswchp. I loved your video!
Thanks very much
Yep, I still prefer wheel guns over auto's even though these days majority will choose an auto and round count....Belly gun will always be for me in a wheel gun....Good points.....Good stuff....
Thanks buddy!
Great video and good information. I never leave home without my little J-Frame revolver. That's a sweet little .32 you picked up on gun broker.
Very good video. I'm retired with 30 service in the Fire/EMS field.
Seen folks shot with all kinds of calibers.
Thank you
Plus 1 for revolvers.. I am a fan of the Ruger 327 Federal. (LCRx).. Light, incredible trigger. Practice with any of the 4 cartridges out of the same gun. 327, 32 H&R, 32 S&W Long, 32 S&W Short.
RJ Melehan Thanks
You definitely spoke the truth about the weight of the gun if it’s to heavy you’re probably not going to carry it iam a senior citizen And the smith and Wesson snubby 637 is the greatest gun ever always remember shot placement is the key not how many shots your revolver is
Thank you
Love my Taurus 605 5 shot .357, tiny cannon...my .380 Bodyguard is a good worker too.
👍👍
I don’t have a snubby quite yet, but I do carry a 4” Ruger Police Service Six. I’m not worried about needing more than six rounds, and I like the security in not worrying about jams. In case of failure, just pull the trigger again and BANG. Simple, no safeties to worry about under stress. Loved the video
Thanks!
Love my LCR in the pocket. Smooth and easy to handle.
Great gun. 👍
Finally, a common sense view on self defense carry. I agree totally. I carry a S&W or Taurus snubby in .38+p.
Thank you
I've watched hundreds of gun reviews and this video is by far one of my favorites, nothing but truth, logic and common sense.
Thank you for the kind words and stay safe
Your video was informative and very str8 forward. Loved it. And u settled the caliber debate going on in my head. I totally agree. And have seem what a 22 lr can do. Its def enough for self defense
Thanks. Appreciate you watching
I carry my sp101 3" and feel very comfortable with it.
Finally someone with some common sense👍🏻
Anything can happen in a situation where you have to defend yourself. I'm 56 and have never been in any situation were I thought I would need a gun.
I'm a hundred times more likely to get killed in a car accident or be hit by lightning and if I ever were to carry a gun it would be a snub nose revolver.
They are Safe and Reliable whether you have a 22,32,38 or a 44spl most people would run away at the sound of any one of these👉🏻
Thanks
Why not?
Same as you I carry the shield plus and LCR. LCR when I’m out casually. when I’m working I usually carry the shield plus.
Smith and Wesson snub-nose pistols are cool. I just went to the shooting range with my dad and I shot it. It was an absolute blast to use.
Excellent video!!! Just purchased my very first revolver a Taurus 605 .357/.38 and I love it!! Only issue I see with it is the pistol grip is to small for my big hands. Just ordered a longer Hogue grips to put on it!!! Can’t wait to take it to the range!!!
Great gun! Good luck with it.
Excellent contribution to common sense gun culture. Thank you.
M W thanks!
Absolutely agree. I carry a model 60 with barami's and I'm looking at a snubby in 327 mag (shoots 32, 32 long and 32 acp as well).
I agree, I've carried a Jframe for years.
👍👍
That top break is AWESOME!! I love those. I can hear Holmes telling Watson to “bring your pistol”because the story is about to get dicey. Beautiful piece👊
lol. That’s great. Thank you
I too spent 30 plus years in law enforcement to include 8 years in SWAT. I carry a Smith and Wesson 638 (5 shot .38 special) every day except Sunday. As part of our church security team, I carry a light weight 1911 with extra magazine under my suit jacket. I have never felt under gunned with either weapon. Thanks for the video.
Thank you for your service
Good video! Never leave home without my Ruger LCR six-shot revolver in .327 magnum. Fits great in an Azula leather pocket holster.
Very nice. Thanks
I have a 50yr old Colt Detective Special that will outperform any modern snubby. It's 2" Bbl is incredible.😊
Listen, I agree with you, as I am a revolver carrier. I alternate between 380 acp, 9mm, and recently 38 special. Revolvers are my favorite.
Kyle thank You
Very good review , sir.
Thanks for your opinion. 👍
From one officer to another I agree 100%
Very informative. I agree with everything you've said. I carry a S&W model 60 loaded with Federal 110 gr hydra shocks. Thanks for sharing. ( I just subscribed)
bassai2010 Thanks very much
Probably my new favorite commentary on YT, I give kudos to you, big gonads to speak your mind in such a way.
Lol. Thanks. I appreciate that.
Another point worth consideration is that when a revolver is inside the waistband in a soft holster (comfortable), the cylinder is being compressed and makes the trigger INCREDIBLY hard to pull. An accidental discharge is virtually impossible compared to a semi-auto.
Very true 👍
642 air weight, it’s my minimum carry gun and Always with me no matter what! Usually carry two guns Glock 26 and the 642 j-frame in pocket holster . The air weight 642 is the best all round carry gun with good power and extremely light but shootable with practice and dependable as the day is long . I love my sp101 .357 magnum snubs but I carry the air weight because its so light and I forget it’s in my pocket 😉🤩🇺🇸
Great choices!
Well said good sir. I completely agree 👍
Thanks 👍
I have nothing against revolvers as I own a smith and Wesson Airweight 38spl Model 637. It is a great gun! My only problem with revolvers is the ammo capacity. However my edc is a smith and Wesson M&P shield 9mm 2.0. 👍🏼🇺🇸👊🏼
Get the plus!!!! I love it
Totally agree. Also, a small Buck, Ka-Bar or any quality knife of your choice.
Agreed. I was just about to order a Ka Bar wrench knife
God bless
Antonio Computers Barreto Thank You
Appreciate the kind words
I just started carrying a wheel gun and my god is it so much more comfortable then a most others. Great video.
Thank you. Good luck
