This is one of the reasons Nigeria has not progressed. These people should have been prosecuted to the fullest. A system of auditing and monitoring, with those people also held accountable for their reporting, would discourage this level of theft. This is ridiculous.

That's the weakness of Africans, in the West and Asia they hold you accountable for your actions they don't leave it to God. That's why your politicians keep on repeating these offences over and over and over again because you leave these things to the after life instead of dealing with them now. The coffers of your country keep on being emptied and your countries and people keep on getting poorer and your solution is God will punish them in heaven. Has anyone ever come back from Heaven and told you anyone is being punished there? And you wonder why Africa will always be poor when we have people like you

*_It's a tragedy to the fate of this nation that the Igbo person has been in denial about the problem they created for this country since 1966. Instead, they play the victim._*
In May 1966, General Johnson Aguiyi-Ironsi, Nigeria’s first military head of state, promulgated the infamous Decree No. 34 of 1966, the “unification decree.” The decree effectively did away with the federal system of government practiced by Nigeria since its independence from British colonial rule in 1960. In its place, the general instituted a unitary system of government as a way of discouraging “tribal loyalties and activities which promote tribal consciousness and sectional interests and which must give way to the urgent task of national reconstruction.” The decree suspended aspects of the Nigerian constitution and, with it, the military government arrogated to itself wide discretionary powers. Unknown to the general, the effects of this decree would reverberate well into Nigeria’s sixtieth year as an independent nation....

If African's will unify with the Black Diaspora (US, UK, Australia, Caribbean, etc) and build an easy path for all Black people to bring our talents and money back to benefit all 54 countries of Africa for a united continent. Maybe these kind of foolish abuses by greedy and selfish politicians could be minimized. All African's have to unite inside and outside of their countries. Great investigative work . Thank you for this insight. It’s amazing how people can do ruthlessly loot our commonwealth as a Nation. You can escape the law but you can never escape Gods judgment. Stolen loot is a curse . May the looters repent and return the stolen wealth and may all Nigerians learn and refrain from such evil. There is no peace for the wicked and surely their lives are in Gods hands…… whom they cannot bribe with dollars, properties, yachts, private jets etc. The day of judgement is at hand.

While she had $28,000,000,000 hidden away, her younger sister was busy suffering from hard drug abuse with eyes twitching, and begging people for money. Her big sister could not even help her, even to put her in rehab. Very sad. Meanwhile where she want carry $80,000,000 yatch go? They have all this stolen funds and yet their neighbours can't afford a plate of food, no conscience. How do these people sleep at night?
