@@dianaa8125 Looking back on it, I'm disappointed I let such a small thing get me so upset haha. I still enjoyed the day, just a bit differently to normal.
Does the Hana gondy basically just service the fairly new hotel guests? You could brush up on your French by having conversations with your friends, and not just the ‘pardon my French’ type of French. 😝 Love your brutal honesty, a warts and all look at the life of a skier!
@@Loveofpowder it just takes you up a beginner slope that doesn't connect to anywhere else. There's about 50m of actually skiable slope and then flat for easy 1km back to the bottom.
It was a very crazy day. It was shot 3 weeks ago now. I have since rested, iced and so forth for 2 weeks. My knee is doing fine thankfully. Have been wearing a knee brace though now just to be extra careful.
I’m not a doctor but you may have damaged your mcl. Video idea : how to find long term rental in niseko my retirement goal is to spend winters skiing japan.
Turns out it was my LCL as I thought, very minor damage to it. I'm back skiing now, albeit with a knee brace for extra security (this vid was shot almost 3 weeks ago now). Man, if I knew the answer to "how to find a long-term rental" I'm not sure I'd want to share it haha! Finding rentals here is so difficult unless you have boots on the ground. Most rentals don't even get listed, they all go via word of mouth. It makes sense though as housing is a huge problem here at the moment. The disparity between Japanese wages and the money that tourists are bringing in is absolutely insane. I have friends who live here that struggle to find affordable accommodation within even an hour from the mountain (and their workplace).
Great vid Blaize. Always wish I could subscribe twice!
@JudePhilipp Thanks Jude, I always appreciate your comments!
Sweet video man, hope to join you next week! Lets tear it up!
Glad you liked it!
Damn it sounds like you had a rough day! New day start from fresh
