actually, I think what you're hearing is really Andrew Wells from Eidola - who does backup vocals and rhythm guitar for Dance Gavin Dance. His mic was probably up too high and overpowered Tilian when he came in, lol. But yeah, he does a higher harmony singing part here. I'm almost positive it's him singing as opposed to the camera man. It also doesn't help that you can't see him at all in the video so it makes it seem as if it was the camera man, or someone in the crowd

As a musician, their shit is hard to coordinate. Pretty much everyone has to pay attention because if one person fucks up everything is off and it sounds bad.
I'd take them sounding good and enjoying the fact they sound good over them jumping around and acting crazy and messing up everything. Plus they're all in the zone and have been doing this for 10+ years. People know what to expect when they go see them.
They also care more about performing technically. They want to sound good, they move a bit but I’d rather hear talented artists perform there best instead of hearing talented studio artist that can’t perform live but move around a lot.
