So good. I am not at a country fan (though as a guitarist I of course revere Chet Atkins) but this a great song, a great vibe, I like Suzy's voice and I love the fact that every performer gets some face time, very generous. Ms. Bogguss I think I interviewed you many years ago for the Kewanee paper, and thought you were a class act then too. Thanks.
Chet, he done everything, seen everything and was the greatest all round guitarist ever. Suzy has a superb voice, this is real music. I miss Chet badly.
Suzy Bogguss is a beautiful lady. Tall and elegant with a fine figure. But more than that, she has a fine - mellow voice! Chet? Chet is the greatest guitar finger picker of all time (well he and Nokie Edwards). At one time Chet was also VP of RCA records division and gave Suzy and a lot of other musicians their start. The young shoeshine guys who dance are also wonderful. I especially like the moves of the youngest when the does a flip. Then there is the piano.. he really hits it right. Like another commenter said, this song is one of the best toe tapping tunes ever recorded. I hope it lives on for a thousand years!
was friends with their drummer JD (James) Blair, always an awesomely nice guy, back at Lee High School - Huntsville 'The Rocket City' in our Sweet Home Alabama
Вы правы. Я когда услышал впервые эту песню, сразу же погубил ее.До чего же классный ритм. Чет Аткинс это легенда, а Сьюзи потрясающая. Слушаю периодически эту песню .
I was born & raised in east Knox county in Tn., just down the road from Chets ' house & my best friends' dad played banjo on several of Chets recordings that he did in his basement ! Ah! the good old days in the south !!!!!
I must confess, I wrote these comments on my wifes' e-mail account ! She wasn't born in east Knox county, it was me !!!!! The other comments are true if attributed to me.
Amazing background here. Hotel? Hmm, wonder who the musicians are. Drummer, guitar, bull bass. Piano player really hit it right. Pat Bergeson on harmonica. Very interesting vid. mos60
suzy has performed 3 times in forsyth at the rose theater.... hope everyone will come see her at the fine arts center she has been my favorite since 1989 when she was playing up at dollywood before anyone knew who she was !!!!!!!
This was filmed at the Hermitage Hotel; my mother and I were staying there and watched a portion of the video being shot. Too cool. It was in November, but can't remember the exact year - I think it was 1995 or thereabouts.
Suzy has one of the greatest female voices in music.
Super, Susy et Chet, la bonne musique, bravo, félicitations, BONNE CONTINUATION, BONNE ANNEE 2024

Suzy is the best. So glad I got to see her live in Castle Rock, Colorado a few years ago.

An all time favorite of mine--those shoe shine boys really got the spirit with Chet picking. Love that deep tone Chet has on this one

Too bad Minnesota Fats wasnt still living. I think he died the year previous. It wouldve been cool to have him in the video at the pool table
great two miss chet and his guirar.
superb !!
It's funny that in a video with Chet Atkins and Suzy Bogguss, the shoeshine kids steal the show.
Suzy Bogguss has beautiful legs!
Right fucking on
Toes a tappin'.
Was this filmed in a hotel in Nashville? think I've been there
At a glance, it looks like it might have been filmed at "The Hermitage Hotel"
Who is the lady in black with black hat and black gloves that is in EVERY SINGLE SCENE??
was this for a movie?
Real country music not like the junk today. After 2000 I quit listening to country.
