I just replaced my 1988 Panasonic Genius convection microwave. I had it for 34 years with no problems. I have recently purchased the 4 in 1. I have a couple of issues. It takes longer to heat my water in this one which I don’t understand as this one is more powerful. My other issue is that the door makes a grating noise when open and closed (the bottom left hand side. Is this normal?
I just unboxed mine (Today is 2-5-24) and it doesn't have that issue. Mine's Model NN-CD87KS. It does make some noises internally that I wonder about.
My mother has one of these units and I hate it. I would never purchase a unit like this. I when it’s in the cooling you can not add time or go to another setting. My mother mainly air fry chicken wings a I swear they are dry and hard. Yuck

From observing your results, it looks like the air frier doesn't seem to brown very well. Other microwave air friers seem to work about the same, they take a long time to cook and don't seem to brown very well. I wonder if you could cook the fries and chicken nuggets with convection?
Convection and "air frying" are the same thing. Kind of like Patagonian toothfish and "Chilean sea bass."
Is it available in a vinyl woodgrain finish like my pansonic microwave I bought in about 1987 ? The panasonic I bought in -87- is still going strong and the woodgrain matches everything else in my house that was built in -82- . Make another microwave with vinyl oak or walnut finish and It'll match my t.v. and my sofa with the wagon wheels on the ends and the fall farm foilage scene printed on it .

Where do you get your air fryer basket from?I got 3 items in the box which were held together by foam packaging so I do not know if Panasonic have stopped issuing them, anybody got an email of Panasonic to get comact with them?
Panasonic stopped providing them from 2022.
@@gdr88 I just opened mine (Feb. 5th, 2024) and there is one in my package. Model NN-CD87KS. it came with roller ring, glass turntable, ceramic coated metal tray, wire rack, and air-fry basket.

The samsung powergrill is much nicer ,I've had both ..This microwave is loud and obnoxious and has no option to turn off the turntable if you want to use a square pan ..For the price it should have been refined like the samsung ..I returned it and replaced it with a samsung ,I hear again when I'm using the microwave .

Is this wired? Does this have steam function? You just mentioned your cooking and not the features of the 4 in 1 microwave oven
I buy it and I think that it’s complicated to use my old model even my kids can use it
is it normal for my 4 in 1 to turn on and off during preheat for convection cooking
convection features uses the broiler element. Can't bake bread. I tried/did and it burnt on top.
Does this one have the Flash Xpress? Can you demonstrate that and give a review?
Did you get the air fryer basket in the packed box??

@@akannan im not disgusted with it. i have cooked steaks on combo airfey and broil. took about 15 minutes. ok in a pinch. but to rehab pizza its like fresh delivery the next day and i also use the pizza setting on cold next day hero sandwiches. again like they were just delivered. and when it heats food much more effective evenly warmed. its a very powerful unit. i haven't made any dishes with it. just not home enough. bachelor..lol.. so far scale 1-10 i give it a 7. but i never tested its true capacity.. oh yeah the outside of the unit gets very hot when air fry or broil

You have incorrectly stated wattage to start with. This video says NOTHING about the product but just talks about your casserole and roast. I learned NOTHING about the product except that somehow or another you made potatoes and a roast.
Is this actually supposed to be a review of the product or a photo of potatoes and a roast of some kind?
