I agree. However their strong chemistry outweighed the mistakes made in Season 3. They were both strong characters who came from good stock that could handle anything and still bounce back.
The problem is that Peter was supposed to be simply a guest character on season 3. However his chemistry with Amanda was so strong that the writers had to struggle to find a way to bring him back to the land of "acceptable character." It's a last-minute change-of-course
I have to hand it to Amanda. I never saw her try so hard in a relationship. Many people may disagree with her taking Peter back after he tried to kill her in Season 3. However, I do believe they were soul mates and deserved each other. I don't discount what Peter did nor do I condone his previous actions. I think he was a lot more cutthroat in Season 3. As the seasons progressed, he was much more tender and truly worked hard to win Amanda back. I love them both and will always defend them. Peter was down and out in this season because he lost everything and he was not used to not being on top. He should a touching vulnerability that was rare for his character. To be honest, Peter and Amanda were the only reasons why I watched Season 5. I was worn out by the end of Season 5, especially with the introduction of Samantha who was not one of my favorite characters. Great scene Solly! 🍸
Gorgeous scene of them
Beautiful couple 🥰
The best!
If only the writers hadn´t made Peter try to kill Amanda a few seasons back. Their chemistry was out of this world. Clearly were made for each other.

@jonathanwashington6083 why he came back at the 2 part season 3 finale ? It doesn't make sense .
if you think about it, this dinner probably would’ve been more fitting for Kyle & Amanda…
Why?
@@РисКис-п9с they became a couple after this and opened up a jazz club above Kyle's restaurant
