Can this tool work on hybrid cars
Like high voltage battery diagnostic
I want to buy this tool your help to this info would a great help
Thanks
The back button on top of the other back button can be moved by pressing it and holding it and sliding it to where you want it.
I have a BMW in the family, the scan tool I have is notable to diagnose the problem, as it's recommended by the BMWDoctor I'm sure the Launch Creader Elite would do that for me. I would to try it out.
Whatever works! :)
Thanks for showing this. as soon as I saw you have to purchase items to fix a car and it only works for 1 year I was out. I will pay someone the 50$ to fix my wipers.
Glad I could help!! ☺
I see the limitations you point out. However, it still is worth the price. Hooking up dongles and "smart" phones can be a real hassle for people without your level of tech saavy.
Of course. I have one myself. It's good to know the positives and negatives before purchasing
The back button on top moves to where you want it on screen
Sure does
doesnt alot of the stuff it could do also depnd on the car and what type of sensors and such it has
thanks bud, saved some money
You're welcome!
You can still enter the data stream without a fault code through the diagnosis tab. I scanned at least 20 cars and had no problem with auto vin search. Possibly the unit you have? And had zero problems getting trans data with my gm yukon. Possibly car doesnt have the trans sensors or the launch isn't communicating with the trans??
It honestly depends on the scanner brand and model. Yup, car does have a sensor on the trans
tnx for sharing . that was very good help
Glad it helped! :)
Greetins,, I have a 2005 Lexus gx470 and I want to monitor my transmission temperature while towing. Will this work? Is there a less expensive unit that will do this? Thanks
The website has a compatibility checker if you want to try that
this guy saying the truth I have 2 obds and not of them do what they saying that it can do
Hey i have same machine like this is writing (sorr, problem axception) when im trying to diagnose my car what could be problem
It could be so many things that it would be hard to make a comment about a potential fix. I would suggest making sure the obdii port has power and go from there
will this work with a 2013 bmw x1
You can enter your make model and year into the website and itll let you know
Hello. I just received this CRP123e tool & tried it today. While scanning my 1998 wrangler 4.0, it said trans codes not supported on my car. So it did look for trans codes.
As I mentioned in the video, your mileage may vary
Will this work well on a Vw Golf 2007? I have Abs issues and hoping this will tell me the fault and which corner of the car it’s at? Also clear the fault codes.
Check the website!
Can you bleed breaks with this Obd2 code reader.
THE WARRANTY IIS NOT WORTH THE PAPER IT'S PRINTED ON.WHEN IT DEVELOPS GLITCHES AND STARTS LOAD FAULT CODES INTO YOUR CARS ECM AND YOU CALL THE HELPLINE THEN YOUR ON YOUR OWN
You're right!! I found that out also. Just hope nothing goes wrong.
Does this device toeight throttlebody relearn for the Audi A4?
No idea, but you can check on their website
my van needs to be running to auto detect
Thanks
You're welcome!
I find the ignition needs to to on for auto find to work
Depending on the year make and model, the OBDII port may not be on the BAT circuit
My I/M readiness keeps saying “Failed” like yours at first. How did you get it to show you the status of the monitors on the second try?
Give the car some power :)
So just start the car?
Bro It’s a professionals tool what do you expect? If you’re looking for something simple to use, go hit up your local parts store. Have them do it for you
I'm not following you here.
Professional models run $1000+
This is a $200 piece of kit,
Regardless, explain your comment here, im not following
I would not consider this a profesional obd unit is a DIY unit, and even if it was profesional don’t mean can not be user friendly , i belive this gentleman did a great review. 😊
Mines not connecting to my wifi. I guess it's not 5 g compatible.😩
Just add a 2.4ghz band on your router.
@@TutorialGenius I have no clue how to do that. But I will google it. Thanks for the info and reply! Have a great day.
Is there a way to bleed ABS brakes with a $3 dongle? I would be very interested in a video series on how to get the most out of a cheap dongle without having to buy an expensive scanner.
That would be neat!
I haven't found any cheaper end dongles that support many bidirectional features like bleeding, but I don't think it will be too long.
There is so much money to be made and the industry in pulling codes is worth a lot of money, so not many free or cheap solutions fall out.
The cheapest thing I have found more recently is this, but its still a bit of a money grab: Autel AP200C
If you're into computer programming and whatnot, there are lots and lots of things that can be used and adapted on a project level: github.com/topics/obd-ii
To be honest, a lot of these Chinese solutions round up a lot of these projects on github and stuff it into a mass produced product anyway. The last time I ordered an OBDII dongle from China, it came with 4 pieces of cracked software from other vendors. Mad!
There's no way. Buy ThinkDriver dongle for about $30
Can you actually read if cam and crank shaft sensors are working?
Just head to the website, key in your make and model, and it'll tell you what it supports for that car
Can it perform dpf re gen?
Yes, I did one on a honda civic 2.2 i-dtec (UK)
Worked perfectly, really nicely explained instructions and details
It reduced the PM from 36g to 0 in 25 minutes
Sorry mate, but it looks like you have bought a copy, it doesn’t look like the real deal.
The return button should not be on top of eachother, plus I see the quality of the screen.….itdoesn’t really fit the original Launch crp123e
Plus the transmission data should be there.
That would be a neat trick mate, as I bought it from the official website. Nice try though!
Really bad that you have to renew your upgrades every year.
Agreed!
Did you ever find the transmission feature??
No, not for this car unfortunately!
Perhaps it'll work on other vehicles, perhaps not.
@@TutorialGenius It works on my 2013 Mercedes. I can see trans temp, fluid level, and much more. It probably depends on what senors your car has.
@@johnc.9133 It's a bit of a crap shoot tbh. My car has the sensor AND the scanner is supposed to read the sensor info, yet it doesn't. I imagine your mileage may vary depending on the year make and model. Regardless, its not too bad for the price as long as everything else works well
مرحبا هل يدعم سانتافي ديزل 2004
Is this good for pin pointing Abs problems?
Like and sub to our channel! :) I dont mind answering questions either!
So in that "Mall" section, you're able to purchase the capability of resetting the electric throttle body control?
Depending on the car, yes
