I thank Youku for putting up the whole drama like in a whole movie version 💖 I've been putting off watching these mini dramas 'cause the episodes are so short I feel this is very similar to the mini serie: The Maids Revenge
Xiao Die and Nie Zhen share an awesome chemistry. They are so much in love with each other. What I loved most is they have shielded themselves to protect each other through every thick and thin. Ultimately suffering all the troubles they ended up being together. ❤
What a wonderful drama, well-acted, great script, fantastic costumes, great chemistry between the leading man and woman, and a happy ending. The badies get their just rewards, the wronged get righted, and the revenge is reversed. My compliment to all connected with this work, and also to those who write the subtitles who did a great job. I also thank YOUKU and those that connected all the episodes to make a well worthwhile mini drama. Yeah, way to go!

This is a phenomenal Drama Series! It had everything. It had a great story line, great romance and love, great twist and turns and a great ending. I loved the Lead actors chemistry. All the actors were great. And the kissing was....WOW! 😜The costumes of the time period were cool especially the uniforms. Everyone behind this Drama created a wonderful piece of work. This drama kept my attention. Thank goodness for no boring parts or fillers. Bravo to all!❤
The kissing was wow for U...? May I ask, didn't it bother u that he did all the kissing and she wasn't moving her lips at all? Though they seemed to have chemistry, this ruined it for me. She was standing like a statue each time..🗿

Not kissing would mean they have a relationship and they rarely admit to that..(sad truth in my opinion, having to hide cause of fans). But the one actress I do know Son Ye-jin, was in affair and then married but when she was in dramas she'd kiss normally. Idk if on something in the rain she had an affair already, but for "39" series she definitely had and got married then had a kid also.. Acting is acting still. They shouldn't have to be single to act properly like they don't need to break their leg to act like they have broken leg...🙄

Everything about the drama was great. Nice love couple, brave, smart, helpful. Every part made sense. I usually don't like historical drama based but this one, was a well spent time

This drama is great example of being a good people even though if your father is a worst person.... also don't forget the people who take care of yours in a past time but now she is in a wrong track that's mean the person needs you more than every thing... love this drama 🤗

Honestly. I do like the two leads. I came after watching another mini drama of her, that was amazing, really good. But this one, did not really catch me. It was going so well on the first 1hour and half, but after that, it started going nosense. They had no reason to let that girl take control over the house suddenly, while watching everything and doing nothing, both were so smart and powerful, it made no sense at all. Dropped it on 2hours and 10 minutes. But I loved the leads and the story like i said, started good, it did not have a perfect flow but the story itself could've been better worked on script.
