Here we are presented with an FL who has her head scewwed on right. She walked into the snake pit with her eyes wide open. She came to fight abd and conquer...even the Emperor, eventually, the throne.
The villains, meanwhile, were the usual emotional, uncontrolled menace. All of my sympathy goes to them.
I thought it went so fast.

Interesting & inventive version of this drama . It has taken parts of the other versions & came up with something fresh...worth watching. Its about watching Harem politics playing in the high stakes game of who is the Emperor who is the ultimate victor...women use to have to be very smart & at times cruel to themselves & others to win a life of respect for themselves....I guess it is still true today in some ways.

DAMN!!!! Talk about a scorched earth! This woman played a long game of master class chess to take back what rightfully belonged to her family. Her enemies were dead before they even knew it and this Valkyrie Goddess guided their souls to the god Odin's hall Valhalla. She wasn't just bent on revenge, she sought total annihilation of all those who thought they could bend her to their will. The arrogant have a misguided sense of supremacy and lose their ability to realize fatal flaws eventually leading to their destruction. All rise to the new Empress who will lead her son to greatness!

I'm somewhat sad about the emporer and the ML. Their death had no justification. FL was just too calculative.
Almost every comment was how great she was, I didn't like how ruthless she was towards both the ml's. They never set out to hurt her, the first guy already had a love but she pushed her aside to marry him, just to kill him, ruthless. The second guy fell in love because she lied and let him think he was the father from the very beginning, then on his death bed told him the truth, ruthless. If she would've died in the end it would've been better😂
Why no fault?... King didn't deserve throne it belonged to her family... They also must have kill fl family to take it... And first husband... Was killed by king... Not her... Why blame her?... If king was a good person he wouldn't have killed his general for a woman... So he was not worthy to be on throne...
@@refind4God It was ruthless but if you think about it she says how men are fickle and change women like clothes (not exactly quoted). In those times women can't survive another way. The amount of times the emperor said it's not a woman's place to give opinion about anything makes it clear their value. It might seem villainous but that's the only way a woman can survive.
This was about seizing back her family throne. War is ruthless. FL's marriage to the general was the emperor's decree to try to create peace and alliance with FL's family lineage, who has royal rights. She is the legitimate wife due to the decree, however was humiliated when general brought home a concubine before their marriage. Since he had no respect for her, she had no love for him. She prevented things from happening such as groom leaving on wedding night or other set-ups by concubine because she was smarter. If not, this would have ended up as one of those infuriating dramas where ML only believes green tea concubine and FL is tortured. The emporer's ancestor calculated a scheme to murder FL's royal ancestors and took the throne. Since this emporer could not lead the nation properly, she seized the opportunity to take the throne back for her lineage. Neither loved her. Husband was fickle. Emporer mistook her for his white moonlight. Not everyone's cup of tea, but I prefer this character who is more calculating than those who want to cause her harm over a FL who ends up being humiliated and tortured by people scheming against her.

女主如果不奮起，這部劇的女主就會從頭被扇巴掌扇到結局😂
