Stu's an amazing fabricator. Unreal. Matts no slouch either. Wish i had half their talent. Bloody hell! The maintenance man at the fab firm was a menace. Good call leaving that guillotine outside. Proper dodgy.
Churchill blue is bang on. What a spay job! Mark has done the owner proud. Im enjoying the extras you have been putting into your videos. Never knew there was so much work for making a buck on the router.

My vocabulary can't do "the speak" well enough to articulate how much you guys ability, level of craftsmanship, and also the level of professionalism - impress me.
Professionalism, but without the stuffy boring elements so often associated with that high a level.
Also the guy operating the CAD router, not seen him before, don't know how many takes that took, don't know if he's ever been in front of a camera before... but the professionalism, honesty and openness about being new to the processes of the machine, and his natural demeanour in front of the camera... 😳
All of Retropower is going from strength to strength and I'm loving seeing it week on top of week.
THE BEST car manufacturer (you guys DO manufacture artwork in the form of cars) in Britain - fact. 👏👏👏🙌

Their camera guy is always "wandering around the shop", picking up bits and pieces for "B" roll that we see spliced in- often the very concentrated face of one of Ned and Cal's lot; often they don't even seem to see the camera. And then there is Marc, who always lets the camera guy know "We see you". Both sides still knock these cars out of the park.

I've always loved the Jensen Interceptor and one day will own one. A few weeks ago I went to enquire about trading my 2010 Clubman in and buying a new it wasn't worth the trip 😞 The upside is that if I'm dropping £34,000 plus may as well buy something of my hearts desire and keep the clubman. Ironically all of the cars I'm targeting are tax exempt and ULEZ (aka BOLLOOX) compliant. A not on the colour of Churchill the Mini / BMW colour they call 'melting silver' would be beautiful and very lush...but that blue though🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰

Love the details on the tools - much prefer to find out about old tool revival as the build and quality is definitely built to last. I wanted a small desktop milling machine - rather than new I bought a BCA jig borer and it's a beautiful bit of kit.

On the "waffling on"; indeed! Nat, waffle on as much as you like- you tell us lots about how you and Cal and all of this work. Love your "main product"- lots of gorgeous work from all corners of your shop. But the atmosphere is the best part; even when it was still a bit grungy in the corners and over crowded, the efforts and accomplishments you get from your drew are amazing; if I was a young wight, wandering around Great Britain (which you were back when I was "young wight"), I would have loved to sweep the floors for a couple of years to qualify for an apprenticeship in your shop. I would have been challenged on many days to "make the mark" and would have been the better for doing it. Your OG's are great and your youngsters are fast looking to do even better. Haven't got to Marc's reveal yet, but Churchill would be stunning in bare nekkid metal. Cheers and will you be doing SEMA anytime? I'm not really sure they are ready for Retropower, but Retropower has lots to show them, from where building a car with a credit card is not "a thing" like it is in the US. So, waffle as much as you like!

( I guess the blue on Churchill is rather shocking for many of us Jag traditionalists) but the quality is absolutely superb!

I'd have thought the traditionalists would be more shocked at chopping up a Mk2 Jag with hardly any panels untouched than what colour it is! - or is the shape so much what Jag should have done that is more like a Jag continuation project than a custom?!?

@@forsh3546 I have no doubt Jaguars would have produced some and I’m sure some prototypes were at least penned. ( but given their financial woes at that time) they probably couldn’t afford the costs involved. Hence its Unicorn status..

Only two coats of clear over the blue basecoat ? Also how come black on the bonnet boot doors and engine bay .Is it a guard coat because you painted the blue base coat over grey primer/undercoat on the main shell including the engine bay ?
