I'm not that much into Opera as well. But Pavarotti just touches my soul and talks to me and I really can't explain it and for him to choose to allow all of these other artists to sing with him I just love
The fact that Pavarotti chose to allow all these other artists to sing with him just adds a lot to him he's so confident and the voices mixing with his are beautiful.
I miss him so much but thank goodness I can listen to his music always.

I do love Lionel! I have watched him for 50 plus years and he was wonderful in what I know had to be one of the most stressful performances of his life. Singing along side Pavarotti he held his own and I saw his shy side come out, but Lionel you were awesome and adorable. I saw your tender humbleness and heard your beautiful voice and song. You were both so beautiful in this song. Two very different voices and both of you touched me in this performance. Absolutely a unforgettable song and each of you were magnificent. We can appreciate each voice, each talent and the blend of you two together was excellent!
none of these pop singer could even approach his voice, it is according to experts, the best male voice of now and all time, he trained for6 years before his first performance, and he had a superb voice to start with, plus unusually large resonating chambers.
I guess Lionel wrote the lyrics for this concert.....'cos I've not heard this song before. Lionel does a lot of projects like this.... specific to the occasion. So, I want to believe he kept to the script.

What i love most about Pavarotti's, besides his unmatched voice singing puccini which simple cant fail to raise goose bumps; is his true, genuine, and embracing LOVE of music. He didnt have a drop if elitism in him. Whatever type if music you sang- if you did it well- he reveled in it!!
