It has semi-active radar homing. Fox-3. You do not need to hard-lock to enemy aircraft. While you are in Track while scan (TWS) you just need to shoot. Missile does the job. If you give more guidance to the missile ofc its better but you don't have to.
It depends on what you want. If you want something air-air focused, I can definitely say f15. F14 is more capable in terms of maneuverability, but it definitely depends on taste. I love both planes. Since f15c will come, turning on f15 may be a better option.
I’m so confused you can launch the phoenix missiles and not need to maintain lock from that far ? I knew about firing under 40km but I thought you had to follow them in for them to hit because once you turn away they lose radar I didn’t realise I can dump them under 40km and instantly turn around I need to try this
@@hahapoorguy I know they’re not regular missiles I have both f14s unlocked and fully spaded I just could never get the phoenix missiles right for some reason when I use them they’re dog shit when they’re used agaisnt me they’re the best things to ever exist lol
The primary target of the opposing team's planes that will bomb is the bases on the right, so as soon as I take off, I turn to the right, approach them at as steep an angle as possible, and fire phoneixes from a distance of 30-40 km, usually at an altitude of 4000-5000. You need to narrow down the angle at which they can notch those phoneixes.
Great video, keep up the good work it'll pay off😁
Thank you so much!
great match dude
thank you brother..
WOW
How do you cycle locks easily like that? Is there a control for it? I really need to know bc I have phoenix Cs but I don’t know how to lock like that…
must be "select locked target" or something like that.
@@Daemon9000 oh ok tysm I’ll look
F14 is so Underrated lol love the vid
dont you have to support your missiles until they go active?
Nope.
@@Daemon9000 and they work fine ? Do they go active when you lose the radar tracks or when they hit the range they are supposed to go active?

How often do you play 10.7-11.7 matches on f-14a?
Well its a new update with loads of new fun top tier jets and alot of people grinding so you will get VERY few downtiers in any vehicle above 10.3
7/10.
F14a gets down tiered every game because f4s spam
Ah, i wanted to see the rewards
150ish silver, not too much rp.
how did your pilot recover that fast?
Ace crew.

You can just read about phoenixes because they are not your regular radar missiles. Every f-14 just goes up, dumps his phoenix and then act like f-4s

@@Daemon9000 can you explain the narrow down the angle a small bit more please
It’s best to keep a lock as long as possible but they have their own radar that can keep locking
