I love this video. Especially the announcements about not liking 9-5 job and this whole passion about your enjoyment whilst doing soap. I will make this soap today 😀Thank you from Birmingham UK 🇬🇧
I’ve been learning how to make soaps using the medicinal plants and herbs I harvest from my home in Willow Alaska. One of these is a black spruce resin soap, it goes to trace so very quickly! I even tried a 100% olive oil soap infused with resin and it also almost became soap on a stick. I make a spruce hydrosol which I use as the water in my recipe. I’ve seen the healing benefits of the spruce pitch salve I share with friends and family. I wonder if the healing properties of the pitch/ resin make it through saponification. Thank you for your wonderful videos!
Thank you for another great video. You are such an inspiration. Because of you, I have began to explore botanicals and natural ingredients in my soapmaking. I want to make soap with a purpose. I just used tamarind in my soap recipe. I grew up in the carribean and ate this fruit as a child. The soap turned out amazing. Thank you for all you do.
Wonderful to see you and your video on Utube tonight. Pine resin is something I've never seen over here where I live. Stay safe and well over there on the farm
Pat so nice to se you again. I also love soaps more than other products but the prices are getting almost impossible to afford making soap anymore pretty soon. I was recalculating all my cost today . Two lbs of lye are 14.00 on sale? And the suppliers don’t offer the 50.00 lbs anymore, just two lbs. Anyhow great soap Pat
Oh wow! It must have been difficult getting it all in the mold, but to be honest it looks amazing! Like you said, a really rustic and old fashioned feel. I'm sure it smells great too!
Hi Patrick, great job! But what does the amber resin do topically? BTW I know that finding content is difficult and filming is time consuming! Kudos to you for that!
Don’t think I’ve heard any other soap channels complain about jobs or material prices but I dig the recipe & the jar of medicine nugs

Always love your videos Patrick. Thank you ❤️🧼
This is amazing! I love the rustic look. They kind of look like hot process soap. How interesting to add resin.
Looks like pure, honest goodness in each bar 👌💕

Hi Patrick. Oh man that was fast. Closest to soap on a stick I have seen. All that good stuff was ready to go. Hugs and tickles. X x x
I really like the pine resin soap. I have made some myself. Your soaps sound like they are absolutely luxurious. Love your channel. Thank you.

Looks like a very interesting and nice soap❣️❤️❤️
It looked great considering you had to force it into the mold. I'm sure it'll smell great too. Yes, work can be a challenge sometimes.....

How strong is the scent of pine in the soap?
Hi there, it's a bit muted but very there, thanks so much for asking and please have a great day
Did you harvest this yourself or did you order it? Im having trouble finding any 😭
Hi Lauren, yes this is from our own local trees. Thanks so much
Hello. What benefits are there to using pine resin soap? I've heard of pine tar. What is the difference between the two?
